01/08/2025: Passing through Santo Stefano di Quisquina, I discovered an authentic, traditional trattoria. Simple, authentic cuisine, tasty appetizers, flavorful first courses, and meat-only main courses. Well-selected Sicilian wines. Generous portions, attentive service. Everything was delicious. I'll definitely be back.

16/06/2025: The gentleman who served us (I think the owner) was very kind and super professional. He answered all the questions we asked and explained all the differences between one dessert and another.
The shop is small but big enough to contain all the goodness they sell.
I tried the almond paste and marzipan desserts but their specialty is the Easter lamb (as per local tradition) and I would be curious to try the panettoni because from what he described to us they must be a fairy tale.
Unfortunately I don't have any photos to attach but I can assure you that the desserts are beautiful (as well as delicious of course).
If you pass through Favara it must be a must.
19/05/2025: Ho acquistato presso una enoteca del Brindisino, precisamente ad Oria, denominata Wine Shop, una colomba ai frutti di bosco, ottima confezione ma purtroppo estremamente deludente, era scritto nel sito che c'era una crema ai frutti di bosco, mentre di fatto la crema era completamente assente e pertanto dal gusto estremamente asciutto. Una vera delusione visti gli elogi del negoziazione che l'ha venduta. Probabilmente hanno dimenticato di farcirla con la crema. Per fortuna che l'abbiamo aperta in famiglia evitando di regalarla.

The location is stunning, elegant yet welcoming, and it helped make our evening truly magical. The service was exceptional: professional, attentive, and always available. The food... simply delicious! Not only us, the bride and groom, but all our guests complimented us on the quality and deliciousness of the dishes.
We are truly happy to have celebrated such an important day here: every detail was taken care of to perfection, and the atmosphere it created will forever remain in our fondest memories.
We wholeheartedly recommend Il Vigneto Resort to anyone looking for a special place to celebrate an unforgettable wedding. Thank you so much to all the staff for being an integral part of our wonderful night!

Parking is harder.
15/06/2025: We were passing through and only stopped in for a quick bite. The service was very friendly, and communication worked well even without any language skills.
The food at the counter looked fresh, but we weren't hungry yet, so we had a drink.

25/04/2025: Considering that we leave from Sciacca to eat their pizzas... I can only say "Amazing". From the appetizer to the dessert... everything was excellent (the gluten free pizza was also excellent). Exceptional staff and attentive to satisfying any customer wish. Highly recommended.

21/08/2025: It's not our first time there; we've both gotten pizza takeout and dined in. Last night, craving seafood, we took Giusy's advice. We couldn't have made a better choice: for two, we had an appetizer of chef's delights, fried calamari and shrimp, and grilled fish—everything was spectacular. The house white wine is delicious, but it's definitely worth ordering in the evening, without having to drive. I didn't take photos because the sight alone made me hungry.

08/05/2025: Every time I go to this butcher's shop I enjoy shopping because the owners here always welcome you with a smile and you can go home with lots of good things.
The meat is top quality as are the "preparations" which often solve a last minute dinner.
Excellent value for money.
This is one of the best butchers in the whole city of Canicattì (AG)

Veramente eccellente!
03/07/2025: Sono ormai un affezionato cliente dell'Osteria, un luogo incantevole e fantastico per una cena romantica o per qualsiasi altra occasione. Chiara e Beppe sono due ristoratori eccezionali: Beppe è un cuoco pieno di talento, con grande inventiva e però grande attenzione per il territorio e per i prodotti di Licata; Chiara una sommelier bravissima e una premurosa maitresse di sala. Il posto è bellissimo: pochi coperti, grande intimità ma anche atmosfera rilassata e occasione di scambiare chiacchierate con la coppia e conoscere Licata e le sue tradizioni. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo se si considera la qualità della ristorazione. Menzione d'onore per il cappuccino di cozze e la pizza di ricciola

Small trattoria in the center of Sciacca.
Few seats, very well-maintained, with beautiful exposed brick vaults. Typical regional menu of seafood or meat, but it's a shame they didn't have stigghiole on the menu. So, we recommend opting for fish with two seafood appetizers (fresh fish, you can taste it), spaghetti with clams and mussels, spaghetti with sea urchins, pasta with swordfish and eggplant, basil, half a glass of wine, coffee, and amaro, all for around €100.
Tip: given the quality of your products, the shrimp in cocktail sauce is a no-brainer. The flavor of your oil and citrus surpasses even that of the 1980s. Clean flavor = character.
Oil, salt, lemon, parsley?
But it's just a suggestion, obviously.
In any case, very good product, decent service. Wheelchair ramp available.

05/06/2025: I had already tried the place as a pizzeria, and I must say that the quality was already known to be top. I decided to organize a reunion of pensioners, with a fish menu; nothing to complain about, everything good, abundant and tasty, and above all, I made a great impression on everyone. Thanks to the Arcieri brothers.

07/09/2025: We dined at Le Mille e Una Notte both because it won 4 restaurants and because it was recommended to us, but what we ate was below average.
At the entrance, there were a series of packaged products on the counter; we were already perplexed by them (Nutella, toast, etc.). We ordered the €70 large raw seafood appetizer, and the dish arrived very messy; the shrimp tasted of lime, and the rest of the dish lacked flavor. The Mille e Una Notte meatballs were neither good nor bad, but certainly not up to expectations. The La Mia Sicilia pasta was bland and lacked character.
Unfortunately, we didn't even notice a pleasant atmosphere (perhaps cold, white lighting?) despite the beautiful indoor grotto and the courteous, helpful staff.
A real shame.
04/09/2025: A pleasant discovery in Lampedusa.
A restaurant on the old port, with attention to detail. Attentive and courteous service. Truly fresh fish and generous portions. Special mention for the grilled fish and the octopus goulash (so tender!).
