29/07/2024: The food was amazing - especially the mixed grilled seafood but the pizza was also great. The wine and the pizza were very fair priced. The mixed grilled vegetables seemed to be expensive on first glance but they would have been big enough to share. We sat at a table in the sand which was a nice atmosphere. There is a terrace too though if you don't want to get sandy feet. We arrived at 7pm, right when they opened. We had to wait a little while for our food but we didn't mind because we got the drinks right away. The waiters were friendly and spoke English. We also enjoyed the background music which was rock and pop classics (Queen, David Bowie,...).
25/07/2024: We went twice to eat and I don't regret it at all! A chic restaurant-terrace on the beach with very affordable prices, very friendly waiters and an impeccable organization, good and very good food, an enchanting view of the sea and very ok prices compared to what you get in return! Beautifully and professionally set tables, clean cutlery and glasses, quick and impeccable service, excellent communication and the ambiance mixed with the landscape make this restaurant a 4-5 star location! What impressed me are the very attentive, caring and educated waiters who do their work quickly and elegantly! I recommend and give 4.5 stars

08/08/2024: We had an unforgettable experience at Sapori di Girgenti. From hospitality to the food - everything was on the top level. Both Patrizia and Luigi were very friendly and welcoming and we immediately felt like good friends. The food was one of the best we had in Sicily- we had a seafood menu and it was absolutely delicious and the portions and the amount of food was massive. We had our 3 year old son with us and the hosts were very accommodating , making him a more kid-friendly meal and letting him do his thing once he decided he had enough of sitting at the table. Overall, the whole experience was wonderful, one of our highlights in Sicily and we would highly recommend trying it out.

18/08/2024: Place with simple and genuine cuisine. The raw material is of excellent quality and can be felt. Don't expect extravagant dishes or gourmet presentations because you won't find them, they cut to the chase here. Excellent cuts of meat (my son asked for an encore of his cutlet, and it is very rare for him to do so), homemade pasta with excellent seasonings, great courtesy and hospitality. The peculiarity that I recommend trying is the peach-based dessert (Bivona PGI) filled with a ricotta cream. At the end of the meal, a much appreciated bottle of Zibibbo (sweet wine) is left on the table which helps to preserve a sweet memory. The service is fast and very friendly. Highly recommended.

17/04/2024: Bar pasticceria ristorante e tanto altro in questo locale di Santo Stefano Quisquina. Tutto è ai massimi livelli di qualità sia per la materia prima utilizzata che per la preparazione. Abbiamo pranzato e cenato con prodotti tipici della zona : dalla ricotta buonissima alla panelle, dal primo sale al prosciutto, dalla cotoletta di vitello alla pasta. Rapporto qualità prezzo elevatissimo!

16/07/2024: If you are looking for an authentic and delicious street food experience in Sciacca, you can't miss this place! I have had the pleasure of visiting it on several occasions and each time I have been extremely satisfied. Their sandwiches are simply irresistible: the sandwich with panelle and crocchè is an explosion of flavours, perfectly balanced between the softness of the panelle and the crunchiness of the crocchè. Even the sausage sandwich is no different, rich and succulent, with the sausage always cooked to perfection. The chicken kebab is another delicacy that I highly recommend: tender and tasty. I also tried their potato chips, crispy and golden brown, a perfect accompaniment to the sandwiches. The latter are always generously garnished, making every bite a pleasure. Plus, you're always asked if you want to add sauces like ketchup, mayo, and more to further customize your sandwich. The menu offers a wide range of products and, although I haven't tried them all, I'm sure they are just as good as those I've already tasted. Special praise goes to the owners, who are nothing short of extraordinary: always friendly, attentive and ready to satisfy every request with a smile. Their passion for food and attention to detail make the dining experience even more enjoyable and memorable. Furthermore, they do their utmost to recommend the menu best suited to customers' tastes, thus guaranteeing a perfect choice for every palate. A further point in favor of this place are the modest prices, despite being located in a central area of ​​the town. TOP quality/price ratio! In conclusion, the "La Chiazza" fry sandwich shop is a must for anyone who wants to enjoy high quality street food. Highly recommended!
30/04/2024: Siamo andati appositamente per assaggiare le panelle che ci hanno detto essere buonissime e così è stato. A queste abbiamo aggiunto anche i cazzilli che non avevamo mai assaggiato. Fritto ben eseguito.

23/07/2024: Sono ad Agrigento per lavoro e per 4 giorni alla settimana mangio a pranzo e a cena da Mani in Pasta. Mi sento a casa. È diventata la mia seconda casa. Il personale è cordiale, i piatti a pranzo sono buonissimi, abbondanti e vari. La pizza la sera è eccezionale. Rapporto qualità/prezzo perfetto. CONSIGLIATISSIMO soprattutto per lavoratori, famiglie, asporto o anche solo per passare una serata in tranquillità, in un ambiente informale e accogliente.

16/08/2024: We went to this restaurant, driven by the reviews and reading the menu which offered an interesting combination of tradition and innovation. The location is well-kept and particular. Especially the "cave" rooms. The staff welcomed us with extreme kindness and professionalism, characteristics that accompanied the entire dinner. Unfortunately we were not satisfied with the food. We start dinner with an entreé of white chocolate spheres with citrus mousse and sea urchin. Urchin not perceived, yet the typical salinity of the urchin must have been present to the taste. Furthermore, the white chocolate left my mouth very greasy, which not even the citrus fruits were able to alleviate. Entreé incomprehensible therefore, given that it did not provide any preparation for the subsequent dishes. Let's go to the appetizers. We chose the "thousand and one nights" appetizer which includes all the appetizers on the menu. Disappointment! Out of about 10/12 tastings, more than half senseless in our opinion. It seemed a bit presumptuous to us to make combinations that in substance simply aren't good in taste. That is: a marinated anchovy on half a slice of white melon? Two flavors that don't marry, don't blend and don't create anything. Not even the sweet/sour contrast was successful. Fish meatball, unfortunately a failure, octopus on Trapani-style pesto (very good pesto), bitter and overcooked octopus. Caponata, nothing special, yet it is a cornerstone of our tradition. Squid ink focaccia with a cheese foam. No more, no less than bread with Philadelphia. The marinated and raw ones are good. We arrive at the most painful notes: the first ones. Paccheri with octopus ragù with pecorino and harissa. Well it could have been interesting if only we had remembered that it was still a fish first course and not a pecorino pasta. Octopus not received. Only doggy style. The cheese literally covered every other flavor, just a little spicy at the end, but basically a pecorino pasta. The combination could have been interesting, the success of the dish absolutely NOT. Spaghettone with cuttlefish ink with provola cheese and Mazara prawns and breadcrumbs with marinated julienned cuttlefish. Overcooked cuttlefish, it practically melted in your mouth and it is not a good characteristic to cook a good raw material. This dish also had cheese as its only flavour, also because a single Mazara prawn, no matter how good, cannot save an unsuccessful dish. Both first courses, in addition to being practically pasta and cheese, had as their characteristic feature the badly cooked fish and the bad dosage of elements with an opaque flavor such as pecorino. Obviously both dishes were cloying and impossible to finish, considering you're expecting fish and eating pasta and cheese. We mentioned this to the staff who offered to bring us more but we politely refused. Perhaps following this report a symbolic "we're sorry" would have been appreciated or at least not to make us pay for both first courses that were practically left on the plate at the second bite. But it doesn't matter. We would have liked to find innovative cuisine in Lampedusa with the excellent raw materials that the island offers but instead in our opinion, it took more than we could chew. It would perhaps be better to return to simpler but well-made flavours.

Truly truly excellent food, with perfect portions, thoughtful smells, sublime flavors and top quality raw materials (just think that in the absence of fresh products they prefer not to serve sea urchin pasta rather than buy substitute products). But above all excellent service, at the right times, with courtesy, elegance and the right balance between constant attention to customer requests and respect for their space during dinner. Staff also highly trained in their knowledge of the products, menu and preparation methods. Excellent value for money
