13/12/2025: A wonderful evening at the "Nni Carminuzzu" restaurant. Here, the cuisine is not just food, but also storytelling, memory, and respect for tradition. Every dish speaks volumes: genuine ingredients, authentic flavors, a perfect balance between simplicity and character. Sincere praise to the chef, who transforms tradition into emotion, without ever betraying its soul. Passion, expertise, and true love for this land are evident in every course. A place where you eat well and feel good. My compliments: I will be back with great pleasure.

09/12/2025: They practically overwhelmed us with the numerous appetizers, all of which were excellent. The first courses were delicious, followed by the second courses, both plentiful and tasty. An excellent experience for those who want to eat well. P.S. Go without having eaten for a week. Reservations required.

16/03/2026: We were at this local bar, pastry shop and restaurant a few Sundays ago during the closing time of the Andromeda theatre and the hermitage of Santa Rosalia and I must say that it was a pleasant choice both for the quality of the food (exceptional pasta with garlic, oil and chilli pepper enriched with sausage and dried tomatoes) and the pastry shop with a take-away tray but also for the kindness of the staff and really excellent prices compared to the quality. I would definitely recommend it.

06/01/2026: We stopped here at the recommendation of a shopkeeper, considering it was lunchtime and the Andromeda Theater was closed. What can I say? The food is excellent; the meat is fresh and flavorful, masterfully prepared by the chef. The bread and fries...infinitely delicious! My family was also impressed by the quality of the food and desserts. The staff is extremely kind, with a courtesy and simplicity from days gone by. Their helpfulness and professionalism are equally excellent. If I ever return to those places—which I plan to do—I will definitely go there! The price paid per person is truly respectful of the customer, especially considering the quality of the food.

22/02/2026: On Saturday, February 21st, contrary to the published hours, we found it closed. Even returning later, it was still closed. There were no notices of the closure on social media. Most importantly, starting around 6:30 PM, messages were viewed but received no response. Calling was also unanswered. If the business has closed (permanently or temporarily), please let us know. And above all, please respond to messages.

09/04/2026: Came in for dinner and were welcomed by the staff by the front door and seated promptly. We made our orders from their menu, all items were listed in Italian and English and very worth the price. We had a mix of grilled veg, pasta and panella a sicilian signature dish, and wow everything was so good. Staff were super friendly, food was great and beautifully presebted and the view was beautiful. 5/5

10/10/2025: Ate lunch here today. The totano (calamar) starter was followed by a lovely plate of spaghetti carbonara and the guanciale super cross. I can recommend this trattoria without hesitation.

04/01/2026: €12 for a takeout pizza with fries, delivered an hour and a half late. The delivery guy calls, I go downstairs, wait five minutes, and it doesn't arrive. Good, yes, but I can't accept the rudeness of someone who doesn't know how to manage their own work.

28/12/2025: We had a reservation for 8:00 PM, but only one pizza arrived at 10:00 PM—the children's pizza; all the others were still missing. After numerous reminders to the staff, the situation remained unchanged. The children's pizza that arrived was burnt, but we avoided sending it back so as not to have to wait any longer. Meanwhile, takeout pizzas continued to come out as normal, while those at tables were left waiting. An unacceptable experience, especially with children, which demonstrates terrible service management.

22/12/2025: For years I have been buying panettone from the Cuspidi pastry shop. I have ordered them from as far away as Germany, paying a significant amount, but I have always been happy to do so because the quality has always been up to par and I have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, this year I have to express a great disappointment. I ordered, as always, the pistachio panettone and the classic one with candied fruit. The classic panettone had very little candied fruit, which is truly disappointing considering the price and considering that we are talking about a Sicilian pastry shop, where panettone are traditionally rich in raisins and candied fruit. Even more serious was the disappointment with the pistachio panettone: it arrived without pistachios on top, while in previous years it has always arrived decorated with pistachios. In their place I found chocolate chips, which is not what I expected, as I have always chosen precisely for the pistachio. When you pay a certain amount and order from so far away, you expect consistency, care and respect for the customer, especially if they are loyal customers for years. I am very sorry to have to write this review, because I've always spoken highly of Cuspidi, but this year's experience didn't live up to my expectations or the quality I'm used to. I hope this report will be taken into consideration so we can improve and return to the standards that have always made me choose this pastry shop.
