06/09/2025: The leftovers in this restaurant are excellent and taste very fine and are superbly prepared. It is a family business and the people are friendly and accommodating. At the end there was an Amaro from the house.

22/08/2025: The reviews were promising, so we had high hopes. Unfortunately, we can't share the previous rave reviews. We paid €120 for a starter and main course (2 adults, 3 children). We started with antipasti of cold cuts, cheese, and olives. The olives and cheese weren't good, and the meat looked like it came from a supermarket package. One of the waitresses asked us three times during our meal if we were finished (um, no) and took our plates away from under our noses before we'd even finished our meal. Then came three excellent steaks with two "salads": half a head of chopped iceberg lettuce was supposed to be a green salad, and a bowl of roughly chopped, unripe tomatoes was the tomato salad. These weren't salads, but chopped vegetables in a bowl for €4 each, grossly overpriced and not tasty as they were. We also had two OK pizzas, one of which was served so late that our youngest tablemate nearly fell asleep. So we decided to take the whole pizza home. The service was generally friendly and did their best. I think we were also a bit unlucky because a very large group had made reservations for a birthday dinner, which was quite noisy and crowded. This made it almost impossible for us to have a conversation, so we quickly wanted to leave. All in all: the food was OK, but certainly not 5-star in our opinion. The salads and antipasti, in particular, were really subpar.

19/08/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I chose the Roman-style calzone with Parma ham: simply exceptional! 👌 The staff is professional, attentive, and always available, while the owners are friendly and know how to pamper their customers and make them feel at home. The pizzas are made with a top-quality dough, light and tasty, and the atmosphere is refined and attentive down to every detail. A truly pleasant experience: I'll definitely be back!

03/09/2025: We unintentionally left this restaurant as the final highlight of our vacation (if we'd discovered it sooner, I think we would have eaten only there 😆). Amidst the narrow streets of Sciacca, a perfect dinner awaited us, dishes excellent in flavor and quality, including excellent raw fish. The cuisine follows Sicilian tradition, revisited just right to be more modern, and the plating is meticulously done. The wine was excellent, and they produced it themselves; so much so that we bought a few bottles to take home. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended, it's a must-have for anyone visiting Sciacca.

20/07/2025: We dined at Sal8 and I was delighted with the welcome and hospitality of the staff. The food is divinely good, the staff attentive and French-speaking, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I recommend it without reservation. Bravo to the entire team.

19/07/2025: It's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. Exceptional dishes with indescribable flavors. Excellent service: attentive, but never intrusive. The welcome glass of wine was much appreciated. The appetizer, in my opinion, captured the original essence of this restaurant: intriguing combinations, sensational textures, and flavors you can't understand until you try them. We live in Lombardy, but we hope to be able to return specifically to eat at this special place once again. Congratulations and thank you for everything.

30/08/2025: If you go to Porto Empedocle I highly recommend the Lido Fico d'India... fantastic sea view and exceptional quality of food... everything fresh... fair prices but above all the kindness and politeness of the staff who are at your disposal for anything... especially special Mr. "Franco" welcoming and always smiling... congratulations.

13/09/2025: Amazing place! The location and views are stunning, staff is extremely professional, helpful and engaged in their job. The manager is also super friendly and made us feel welcome. This is the best restaurant I ate in while in Sicily. Definitely recommend going. The prices are good and the quality of food is very high. The restaurant offers free starters with the local olive oil. This is a must visit place! You can park your car on the street just in front of the restaurant.

12/09/2025: My partner and I visited this restaurant on September 10th and had a wonderful time. Our table overlooked a spectacular view of the valley, which made the dinner even more enjoyable. The staff was very kind, professional, and friendly, making us feel immediately at ease. The food was truly amazing: from the main courses to the desserts, everything was carefully prepared and tasted impeccably. The quality/price ratio was also excellent. I highly recommend this place, whether for a romantic dinner or a pleasant evening with friends.

28/08/2025: After visiting the Greek temples in Agrigento, I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. A truly luxurious restaurant in the middle of the countryside. It was possibly the best meal of my entire stay in Sicily. A true delight; everything we ordered was delicious. Without a doubt, I had one of the best pastas with tomato sauce I've ever eaten here—a spectacle. The waiters were professionals who treated us like royalty (shout out to my Venezuelan friend, he's outstanding). A must-see.

27/08/2025: Wow! What can I say about this magnificent place... first of all it definitely deserves the 5⭐️ We stumbled upon it by chance and what a discovery! The food pairings are perfectly chosen, the waiters are extraordinary, from the welcome to the departure. And of course the view is just magnificent. We will be back!

You can celebrate with friends or just have a good time with your family. I love the Saturday Karaoke, which encourages you to sing your favorite songs. It definitely has a unique atmosphere for an unforgettable time.
