18/07/2025: Spectacular experience, 10 stars! Elegant tables overlooking the sea, excellent service, and each dish better than the last. Intense flavors, good advice, just the right portions, and a wide selection. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It's hard to find places like this.

05/07/2025: Excellent food and excellent service, there's no other way to describe it. We had mussels and pasta for starters and grilled fish with vegetables for the main course. Both were excellent, and the service was attentive even though there were only two waiters for the entire restaurant. For us, the best meal we've had in the area so far!

14/07/2025: Locale piccolo con molti posti a sedere, quindi si crea molta confusione all interno. Il sevizio purtroppo viene influenzato dal locale caotico. Nel complesso comunque le pietanze sono buone e abbondanti. Grosso punto a favore il prezzo inferiore rispetto alla concorrenza

05/06/2025: Absolutely loved our stay, my favourite hotel across the whole island after 30 years. Loretta is an incredible host. She’s warm, welcoming, and full of helpful tips about the area. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. The property is stunning, surrounded by rolling hills, lined with cypress trees, and offering incredible views. It’s peaceful, quiet, and feels like a true escape. The pool is a dream, super clean. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed: great air conditioning, a really comfy bed, and a lovely outdoor area to enjoy the scenery. Location-wise, it’s perfect. Just 10 minutes from the main highway SS115, so it’s super easy to get around for day trips, but you still feel tucked away from it all. And the breakfast? Amazing. Everything was fresh and homemade — from local pastries and fruit to great coffee. We looked forward to it every single morning. This place honestly went above and beyond. If you’re heading to Sicily, don’t miss it. One of those rare spots you’ll keep thinking about long after your trip ends. We will return for sure!

From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in a magical place. Every corner, every detail, exudes beauty, peace, and Sicilian authenticity. 🏡 The rooms and social areas are stunningly beautiful: spacious, decorated with exquisite taste, and with that rustic-elegant touch that makes you feel like you're in a Mediterranean dream. Everything is designed for relaxation and enjoyment. ☀️ The pool is a spectacle: crystal-clear, surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing with views that seem straight out of a postcard. 🍽️ And breakfast... mamma mia! Every morning has been a feast of local flavors, fresh and lovingly presented. Fruits from the garden, freshly baked bread, Sicilian pastries, and, without a doubt, the best coffee in all of Sicily. Made with love, served with a smile, and enjoyed wholeheartedly. 🌸 But what truly makes Zárafe unique are Letizia and Loreta. Two heartfelt professionals, hospitable, attentive, warm... they pampered us like royalty and made us feel at home from the first second. Thanks to them, this experience has been much more than a stay: it has been a gift. 🏞️ Furthermore, the tranquility of the surroundings is breathtaking. 06/06/2025: Avevo sempre notato questo locale passandoci davanti in auto e volevo vedere se il cibo meritava così come la location a prima vista…..locale pulito elegante spazioso e con qualche tavolino anche sul terrazzino fuori all aperto…..pizze squisite carne eccellente dolci sublimi (cioccolato e caramello e semifreddo al lime e meringa 🔝), personale gentile e cordiale e servizio rapido e preciso….promosso a pieni voti

26/05/2025: We ate delicious piadine there. A great place for a quick lunch while waiting for our ship to the Aeolian Islands. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

28/06/2025: This was the definite food highlight of our 10-day stay in Sicily. It is important to note that you have to make a reservation, which is easily done via WhatsApp (details on their Facebook page). As a result, the only people in the restaurant were my husband and myself, and Guiseppe, the chef/owner. He cooked and served everything himself, explaining the dishes and the stories behind the ingredients and recipes (in English). He served us a sumptuous 6-course fish menu, demonstrating exceptional talent with an innovative flair. All of this, plus a bottle of local wine, for a total of €120, all in. Given the prices charged by some of the tourist traps in this area of Sicily, this is incredibly good value for what is essentially a Michelin star quality meal. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone staying in the area to treat themselves to this incredibly special culinary experience.

23/06/2025: Delicious, well-prepared dishes and a thoughtful fish-focused menu. The host opened just for us and managed both service and kitchen with calm and care – a warm, personal experience we really appreciated.

26/07/2025: After specifically asking for a coffee and almond granita at the counter, I was served an almond and pistachio granita. Despite a reminder about the mistake, I was arrogantly and rudely told to take it anyway. One thing is certain: I will never return to this bar, as I found the staff unkind, welcoming, and courteous.

08/07/2025: Good pizza but not particularly rich in toppings, well leavened dough. Prices a bit high, 20 euros per person to eat pizza and drink water.

10/08/2025: We made a reservation and were seated more than half an hour after our scheduled time (even though regulars walked right past us). We asked for raw fish, telling the waiter to choose for us: all dishes were cooked. Plus, there were tables full of children running between the waiters and screaming at the top of their lungs. The three of us spent €100 for appetizers and a bottle of sparkling wine. Unfortunately, we weren't regulars.

02/08/2025: We came here to eat on the recommendation of a friend who had been there a few years ago, but when we called to make a reservation, the first table was at 10:30 PM. In the end, you said, "It's a little late, but we can eat." When they seated us, the table was visibly dirty. They brought us dirty cutlery, glasses, and plates. As we saw, these items were visibly dirty and greasy. We asked for a change, and they brought us dirtier items. We also asked for a change. After a 20-minute wait, we had to remind the waiter that we didn't have these items. They brought us the menu, and since it's a seafood restaurant that claims to have fresh products, all the menus had asterisks indicating frozen products. After 50 minutes, they took our order. The result was that we started eating after an hour, and our hunger had already subsided. I had to remind them several times to bring the dishes, one dish wasn't served, and on top of that, the communication between the person taking the orders and the person bringing them was terrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there; the service is terrible, the HACCP standards are questionable, and management is zero.

22/07/2025: Great experience at lido la pigna! Service was quick. Pizza was delicious! Chairs were comfortable! Can't beat it!

20/07/2025: We visited the beach, but you have to make a reservation if you want to be closer to the water and if you want to be there at all. 30 euros per person for a whole day sunbed with an umbrella. Well, we refused 90 euros for three....we shouldn't be on the Riviera, Cannes, Nice....?!?!?! We sat in the restaurant above the sunbeds, eating pizza and drinking beer. The pizza is great, I recommend it. I took the child down to the beach to take a bath, as one of the staff, I don't know what he was like...a security guard might have asked me if we were on a sunbed, because if we weren't we couldn't bathe there, we could only go for a walk. I had to tell him in a sharper tone and explain that my husband and I were at the establishment and only the grandfather would bathe. I simply have no words. My one star is for the nice pizza and beer. I don't have a star for the policy and prices of this beach

25/07/2025: Nice location but poor staff. On a Wednesday night, there were very few tables occupied and three waiters who didn't pay attention to anyone. We had to constantly get up to call them to order food.

21/07/2025: We ordered pizzas, which arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The flavor and ingredients were good. For dessert, the extra spoon arrived with melted ice cream... The only downside was the wedding anniversary party with loud music and a DJ. Very stressful. It's a shame they didn't let us know, because we wouldn't have gone.
