15/04/2025: A typical pub near the market. Good food, not expensive

13/04/2025: I went to this restaurant at lunchtime during the week. Good quality of products. Rushed service and no customer care or attention. As soon as I arrived I asked for a seat inside: I was told that there was no availability inside and they made me sit outside. It's a shame that after 10 minutes a couple who were looking for a seat inside, evidently without a reservation, were seated inside. And so 2 other couples! It was a slightly windy day and in fact, of all the tables outside, only two were occupied by two foreign couples. Eating outside on a windy day is not the best: the food gets cold before you even eat it. Furthermore, a fly ended up dead in my glass of white wine which they obviously changed, advising me, however, very professionally (so to speak!) to repair it with a paper napkin to hold in place with a slice of bread (evidently they don't even have a coaster to cover the glass and prevent the flies from falling on it). Ultimately, if you are not interested in the service, go ahead; otherwise I recommend the street food place "Scirocco" 20 meters away in the perpendicular street, where you spend less, the quality of the food is very good and the staff very friendly!

23/03/2025: Un piacevole pranzo tra amici. Ottima materia prima, armonia e gusto nella realizzazione dei piatti. La location molto carina, personale attento e garbato. La cucina a vista è un valore aggiunto.

24/02/2025: Penso di non aver mai mangiato così bene in un ristorante in tutta la mia vita. Non c è stato un solo piatto che ti lasciasse deluso, tutto estremamente squisito!!!!

05/01/2025: Nos alojamos en la exquisita ciudad de Taormina, y deambulamos por allí. El chef es excelente, y la comida fue realmente memorable. ¡La pieza de resistencia fue el mejor cannoli siciliano que hemos probado! Fue una revelación y estableció un estándar al que nunca se podrá volver a acercar.

01/01/2025: Excelente restaurante en el centro de Taormina. La comida deliciosa, tanto los entrantes (probamos el pulpo que estaba delicioso). La pasta, el pescado y las carnes espectaculares. Los postres deliciosos. El servicio excelente y el ambiente tranquilo. Muy recomendable.

12/03/2025: Simple but welcoming place, with several rooms with minimal style. The staff is very friendly and helpful, even for telephone reservations. The dishes are tasty and genuine, but the portions are not very generous. Prices are above average, but are in line with the venue. Excellent Easter lunch experience.

05/03/2025: Recatomi con amici ad Avola martedì sera 4 Marzo 2025 in occasione dei festeggiamenti del Carnevale, trovandoci in Piazza Umberto primo, abbiamo pensato di consumare dei dolci e prendere qualcosa da bere presso la rinomata Caffè La Bruna. non l'avessimo mai fatto, capisco bene che la gente era tantissima, ma questo è normale in occasioni simili e non può certo giustificare la mancanza di professionalità e l'approssimazione del personale tutto. Oltre alla scarsissima pulizia che non solo quella sera, ma tutti i giorni della settimana si può notare nei locali o ancora peggio nei banconi dove vengono esposti i prodotti da consumare.... più volte mi è capitato di vedere formiche all'interno delle vetrine espositive, tra l'altro, cosa gravissima non è stato possibile accedere alla toilette perché "a detta del personale, era stato VANDALIZZATA e quindi inutilizzabile" tutto questo è davvero vergognoso, il Carnevale si sa che ogni anno arriva, e quindi si sa che la gente arriverà in piazza in maniera copiosa, è ovvio dunque che una gestione competente e seria, possa e debba organizzarsi opportunamente affinché i clienti " che consumando portano i denari" non vivano queste situazioni indecorose. Esperienza davvero pessima, Pasticceria sconsigliatissima.

24/10/2024: Spotted the place by chance while walking, and it was a pleasant surprise. The place is very nice and the staff are friendly and attentive. The mixed frying and the platter are very good, but there is also the possibility of eating sandwiches or main courses. Prices a little above average but I recommend it.

21/02/2025: The Panificio San Giuseppe is like entering the fairy tale house of Hänsel and Gretel, but without the "evil witch". Indeed, you will be welcomed by friendly and helpful staff who will immediately make you feel at home. The scent of hot bread, desserts, pizza and baked specialties fills the air, while the quality of the raw materials and the passion for tradition give each baked product an unmistakable flavour. I recommend it!

06/02/2025: Pizza eccezionale e molto condita. Tra le più buone che abbia mai mangiato. In settimana il servizio è molto celere e il sabato prima delle 19,30 si aspetta poco. Pizze preferite Rustica e Ortolana. Nella foto ci sono entrambe a metà Prezzi buoni

01/04/2025: We discovered this place years ago through friends, we were enthusiastic and we returned several times and everything always went well. A few weeks ago we returned to the new place. It must be said that we saw nothing of the new restaurant given that we were welcomed into an external structure, in which the tables are very narrow, privacy equal to 0, you dine next to strangers. We waited more than an hour for the pizza even though we had arrived at the time communicated during the reservation. Unfortunately this time it wasn't as satisfying an evening as previous ones. The pizza was also different, the pistachio had too bitter an aftertaste. I hope you can pay more attention.

01/11/2024: phenomenal experience from Sebastiano. delicious and plentiful linguine, calamari and prawns. exceptional frying. fair prices. excellent atmosphere and Sebastiano an exquisite and very nice person. if you pass by this beautiful village, stop and eat here... you won't regret it.
