01/06/2025: 1 star is even too much. We arrive at the restaurant and after a few minutes the waiter shows up to take our order in a hurry, we ask for a few more minutes and he disappears completely from the radar! After a bit of time spent admiring the plastic flower at the table and the lady who poured us the water by stretching her arm in front of the diner's face rather than going around, we manage to complete the order in a few seconds and almost without a response to our thanks. We receive the appetizer with boiled octopus completely overwhelmed by the taste of the giardiniera full of vinegar, a scampi not properly cleaned of the intestine, a tasteless raw shrimp and a few other normal things; only during the work did they bring us the spoon to divide the portions throwing it on the cuttlefish boat fortunately already empty. The main courses arrived when we still had the appetizer plates on the table and we had to help the guy in trouble, who when we asked for a knife, spoon and plate for the shrimp heads looked at us as if we had asked for the moon, in addition to the wait of several minutes, which however gave us time to appreciate the parsley leaf with jaundice that decorated our plates of couscous, marked on the menu as hand-cooked. And here a chapter opens, since it was clearly pre-cooked. When we asked for confirmation from the phenomenon who had taken the order, he began with a loving "let's not talk stupid things" seasoned with a series of stories about how they have been offering top-quality food for 35 years and how we clearly didn't understand anything, all without even letting us finish a sentence without interrupting us. When our request to speak to the owner was completely ignored, we decided to leave everything at the table and end the evening like this. The lady at the cash register couldn't do anything beyond shrug her shoulders and round up the bill by €2.50. We were robbed of a good €70 for eating almost nothing and being taken for fools by people who present themselves as a high-class restaurant when the quality of food and service are to be considered below the worst dive, where at least you eat well.

28/06/2025: We went this evening with my wife. We ate very well, substantial appetizer and really good pizzas. A wonderful discovery, we will definitely be back. Compliments also to the friendly and helpful staff, and the bill is much lower than many other places that do not have the same quality

31/12/2024: Good morning We ordered a mushroom pasta dish and an asparagus risotto via deliveroo. Asparagus was non-existent in the risotto and the quantities left something to be desired for both dishes. We were still hungry. Damage.

26/03/2025: Mediocre, 2 stars! I gave it a 3 because the staff is friendly! Pizza without infamy and without praise! Dry and anonymous chicken! The tray of chips in the center of the plate makes no sense!

08/02/2025: Pessimo rapporto qualità prezzo : con 25 euro ti danno un crostino e una mini sarda beccafico di antipasto- un mini timballo di pasta e una leccata di crema come dessert . Le bevande sono a parte. Locale carino , spazioso , ottima zona ; ma secondo me poco accogliente

Lucky for them, we are very good people, and quietly with extreme politeness we paid complaining about the final result... total moral absinthe on the part of the owner. This place should be categorically avoided, you have literally ruined an evening of joy... in full bitterness but above all disappointment. Rating below 0!!!

26/04/2025: trattoria non molto distante dall'uscita catenanuova sulla catania-palermo, offre svariati piatti di pesce davvero fresco e molto invitanti. Consiglio di prendere qualcosa alla carta e non il menu fisso (soprattutto per i primi). Personale simpatico e attento. Prezzi onesti.

19/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato con un gruppo di amici in questo agriturismo l'anno scorso. La mia recensione è poi rimasta tra le bozze inavvertitamente. Essendomi trovato bene, ci tengo a condividere l'esperienza seppur con ritardo. Posto molto bello con una vista su una meravigliosa pineta. Classico pranzo da agriturismo, suddiviso in antipasti, primi, secondi, dolce e caffè. Antipasti veramente eccellenti, una mozzarella vaccina di loro produzione molto buona, formaggi vari, olive, funghi e ricotta. Prodotti in quantità abbondante e di qualità. I primi non mi hanno soddisfatto fino in fondo. Ho trovato la pasta dei ravioli di ricotta un po' troppo dura ed il sugo dei cavati un po' troppo liquido. Li abbiamo comunque gustati poichè il sapore era buono. Come secondi hanno portato un po' di carne al sugo, un pezzo di pancetta e di salsiccia a testa. Tutto buono. Cannoli siciliani come dolce, sia con crema che con ricotta. Caffè compresi nel prezzo. Avrei preferito fossero compresi anche gli amari nel prezzo. Alcuni commensali non consumano caffè ed hanno preferito prendere un amaro. Ma sono dettagli. in definitiva, soddisfatti di ciò che abbiamo consumato, il tutto per 25,50€ a testa. Assolutamente onesto, sopratutto considerando che fino a 4-5 anni fa un pranzo in agriturismo costava 18-20€ a persona. Oggi qualcuno ha il coraggio di chiedere fino a 40€, senza alcuna aggiunta o miglioria al menù.

22/04/2025: It's been a while since we had lunch at this farmhouse. Excellent cleanliness and top service. A little disappointed by the focaccias, too dry and too hot as if they had been reheated on the spot. The cavati and ricotta ravioli with sauce taste good but the seasoning is a little watered down. Slightly small portions. For the rest everything ok. We will definitely return.

08/05/2025: A good place to eat fish is essential, they cook quite well, an excellent slice of pauro, a good fried fish with different types of fish, perhaps the prawns and squid were missing, but they were excellently compensated by cuttlefish, perhaps the fish starter should be revisited, lacking, all in all a place worth trying, lastly, what is quite important, impeccable and fast service. The only flaw is the location, from the eighties, but the quality of the food is Compensa. It has now closed permanently for several months.

05/06/2025: Want to eat like a Sicilian local, this is the place to go. Fresh catch of day is so. Fresh pasta is something to taste. The vin selection is great including the dessert wines and aged grappa ( barricate).Reasonable price for the quality of food.

09/05/2025: Posto molto accogliente, proprietari simpatici e gentili, ben posizionato in centro nella bellissima Nicolosi, porta dell’Etna. Abbiamo iniziato con una zuppa di fave fresche, finocchietto selvatico e ricotta salata, accompagnata da crostini di pane! Una delizia per il palato, abbiamo ritrovato sapori e profumi di una volta! Abbiamo poi continuato con una carrellata di delizie (polpettine di verdure di campo, di ricotta, di patate, melanzane, carciofi, cavolfiore affogato, …) . Potevamo infine rinunciare al dolce? Questa sera assaggi di due torte magnifiche e profitterol , il tutto annaffiato da due liquorini (ciliegia e carrube). Ovviamente buon vino locale per accompagnare il cibo! Una serata magnifica, da ripetere!!! Lo raccomando a chi vuole rigustare i sapori buoni e genuini di una volta.

25/05/2025: We stopped here on a recommendation from our hotel and were very happily surprised. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. The decor was a little plain. But the flavor combinations were out of this world! In fact, we returned the next evening so that we could finish sampling the desserts. Unique!

07/05/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo domenica scorsa in questo ristorante nel corso principale di Modica, in occasione di un raduno di 500 d'epoca. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, le portare erano generose, il cibo ben cucinato, gustoso. Personale gentile.
