22/02/2026: Not everyone likes added ingredients!! I visited this café on a winter afternoon and ordered a very simple hot chocolate. It's a shame they served me a creative version of what I wanted, with sugary ingredients/flavorings added to the maker's taste. I asked if a plain hot chocolate was available, and the staff was so lazy that they brought back the same cup with the strange addition, with the already dissolved flavors of the sweets evidently removed from the surface. A ridiculous gesture. It was obvious that the sweets would leave a flavorful aroma, ruining the taste of the drink. Terrible experience. I won't be returning, I strongly advise against it.

22/12/2025: Excellent place, clean, and beautiful location. Compliments to the 2 helpful and very kind waitresses. After a few minutes, the fabulous Stintini-style pizza was served 😋👏. Compliments!! Recommended to everyone. We'll be back!

20/10/2025: Today was our third visit during our vacation. We ordered the unique lemon and orange peel pizza with Gorgonzola, which was delicious 😋. The pistachio ice cream and soufflé for dessert were also very good; unfortunately, the tiramisu was only available on the first day. Everything was reasonably priced. Unfortunately, our vacation is now over, and it will be a while before we can return.

19/01/2026: We ordered takeout, both pizza and main courses, including desserts. Everything was excellent: delicious pizza, excellent and plentiful dishes. Very kind staff, super satisfied! We've definitely found a place we'll return to ♥️

02/08/2025: Serata trascorsa in famiglia di venerdì sera in un ottima atmosfera. Servizio eccellente, precisi e molto gentili. Antipasti e Primi molto abbondanti e gustosi. Antipasto sardo nella norma, molto buono invece l'antipasto di mare. Molto consigliata la fregola ai frutti di mare, gustosa ed abbondante. Ottimi anche i tagliolini al tonno. Meglio prenotare, in estate può essere affollata. Consigliatissimo.

30/12/2025: I've been coming to this restaurant for years, not just in the summer. I've been there several times, both over Easter and New Year's Eve, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. The owner is very professional and friendly. The food is excellent, and I think the pizza is superb! The quality/price ratio compared to many others is excellent. I highly recommend it to everyone. 02/11/2025: The four of us went out for pizza – one of them gluten-free – and it was by far the best pizza we've ever had! So delicious that we immediately ordered another one 😄 A particularly great feature: all pizzas and almost all pasta dishes are also available gluten-free. We'll definitely be back!

06/03/2026: When you're unfamiliar with the city and ask a passerby for a restaurant with good food and they point you to Montecristo, consider yourself lucky. That's what happened to this traveler on this occasion: a cozy yet functional location, an interesting menu with dishes made with the freshest ingredients delivered that day and expertly cooked, and a full-bodied red wine that goes down without a hitch. The service was so refined and courteous, they'd definitely return.

09/02/2026: At first glance, the café impresses with its beautiful location and stylish ambiance – even if some of the decor looks a bit dated and dusty. However, anyone hoping to eat will be disappointed: many of the dishes listed on the extensive menu (Caesar, salmon, or tuna salad, club sandwich, or bresaola with arugula and Grana Padano) are no longer available. Instead, there's only a ham and cheese toastie and three variations of tramezzini. I chose tramezzini with tomato, ham, Edam cheese, and mayonnaise, along with a small Ichnusa beer. The beer didn't seem fresh, the tramezzini came straight from the refrigerator – and it was missing the tomatoes. Taste-wise, it was disappointing. The cappuccino was okay, but only lukewarm and, at €2.00, overpriced compared to many better cafés in Alghero (€1.50). The "Crème Amarena" cake was decent, but nothing special. Conclusion: The strength of this establishment clearly lies in its location and decor – culinarily, it falls far short of the many truly excellent bars and cafés in the city. It's neither a restaurant nor a proper dining room, as some reviews suggest. Therefore, only three stars 🌟 🌟 🌟! PS: Even the price of €3.50 for a 0.25-liter beer is high – at least that's what it's listed on the menu. However, what's truly unacceptable is that the cappuccino, already overpriced at €2.00 on the menu, was suddenly charged at €2.50 on the bill. This is not only outrageous but simply misleading – especially since you can get a cappuccino for €1.50 in significantly better establishments in Alghero. Another cheek is the €1.00 "table service" charge on the bill. It's not about the one euro – but if something like this is charged, it should be clearly stated on the menu. Then guests would at least have the option of picking up their order themselves at the bar. Even better would be to switch to self-service altogether. For these reasons, I am ultimately revising my rating to ⭐️ (1 star). The bar impresses at first glance with its beautiful location and pleasant atmosphere – although the furnishings appear somewhat dated and dusty. Ho scelto a tramezzino with pomodoro, prosciutto, Edam e maionese, accompagnato da una piccola birra Ichnusa. The birra is not sembrava fresca e il tramezzino è arriveto direct dal frigorifero – inoltre mancavano i pomodori. Il gusto purtroppo deludente. The cappuccino was accettabile, only at 2.00 €, but also rispetto at a small bar in Alghero, which offered a small coffee at 1.50 €. The “crema amarene” cake is discreet and special. Conclusion: the point of force of the locale is the determination of the position and the arrest. You can't talk to the ristorante in the vera sala da Pranzo, come alcuni recensori sostengono. Per this motivo solo tree spot 🌟🌟🌟! Well, this trovo is inaccessible and the cappuccino is worth €2.00 on the list, but it is also added to the account for €2.50. 14/01/2026: A classic-style bar that has retained its character over the years without ever giving in to modernity. The indoor dining room is fabulous in the winter and the outdoor gazebo is perfect for summer.

30/11/2025: A must-try! It's located near Piazza Università, in the historic center of Sassari. This is our second time there. Small, intimate, and welcoming. Homemade food of excellent quality and quantity, prepared by the owner and his mother. Luciano makes you feel right at home. It's a place for those who care about substance, for those who want to eat well and leave satisfied and with a full belly!
