21/07/2026: We ordered a couple of appetizers and some main courses, and most of the dishes took over an hour to arrive. To make matters worse, when one of the pasta dishes finally arrived, it was lukewarm and quite undercooked. The others weren't anything special either. We ended up eating without any appetite, and after insisting, they acknowledged the problem and didn't charge us for the dish. The waitresses were very, very friendly and attentive.

20/07/2026: We arrived for lunch and although it says nothing is closed, they tell us they have to clean to serve dinner at 6 pm, unbelievable.

08/07/2026: Pay attention to the price. I ate well, but I felt like I was treated like a "foreigner on duty." The receipt charged me for a beer I never ordered. I wonder if this happens to locals, too. Luckily, I won't be returning, but is that why it went this way or is it human error? Well done to the service staff, hoping they weren't quick just because they were among the last to dine... (I covered the VAT for privacy reasons.)

19/05/2026: The food was delish (memorable even!) and the service very good. We were treated to a delicious amuse-bouche to start followed by a great, and good value for $, wine recommendation. We were a group of 7 with differing dishes, and serving times and they handled it with aplomb. Beats mediocre pizza anyday of the week. Highly recommend!

22/04/2026: My goodness, what a wonderful place to stay. We arrived late in the evening on the second day of the season opening. Everything was ready for us and everything was immaculate. The whole stay was perfect. The room was beautiful. The view incredible. The food in the restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner were all exquisite. Every single member of staff from the most senior to the most junior were very attentive, helpful and friendly. They simply could not do enough for us. And we could not have asked for anything more. We will be coming again and again.

25/04/2026: A 2-night stay. A major plus was the independent room (accommodation). Parking space. The room was very basic but well-equipped. A minor drawback was the dampness in the room. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast was simple but adequate. The location was peaceful, surrounded by nature, and ideal for relaxation.

10/06/2026: A small but well-equipped workshop, they make fresh pasta by hand. They serve a delicious breakfast, featuring their own pastries. It's run by a very kind and welcoming family. There are tables outside where you can enjoy breakfast and admire the view.

22/07/2026: Stunning sea view! Friendly staff and good meat. However, we were a little disappointed with the vegetables, which lacked seasoning (or sauce). Overall, a pleasant atmosphere.

04/08/2026: On Sunday evening, we went to this lovely outdoor restaurant, with a lovely atmosphere. The waiters were very friendly and helpful, especially Emanuele, who served us during our stay that evening. We had an "octopus" pizza as an appetizer to share, which was very good and light. A "gourmet" risotto was very flavorful yet delicate, and the pasta with clams and bottarga was delicious, with a hint of bottarga flavor. We also had two desserts: a "alternative" tiramisu, which was good but nothing special, and the other, a "fragrant" chocolate tart, which was very hard and chewy. Overall, it was a lovely evening. We spent €150, but with the 30% discount on dishes with The Fork, it was €115.

02/08/2026: I would have really liked to give a better rating to one of the few places on the Costa Smeralda that offers gluten-free options safe for celiacs. Unfortunately, however, the experience was marred by service that I found decidedly unprofessional. As soon as we were seated, the waiter (I think his name was Paolo) asked us if we were ready to order. I told him I was still choosing the wine and politely asked for a couple of minutes. His response was, "Oh, indeed, I've never seen a woman choose so quickly." A joke that I found out of place and based on a stereotype. Shortly afterward, he asked if my boyfriend would also drink wine. When he said no, he made further jokes about him having to drive, culminating in, "It's not enough that we have to put up with them; we can't even drink because we have to drive." This comment also seemed decidedly inappropriate. In a place of this caliber, with a €6 cover charge and an international clientele, I expect friendly and professional service, not sexist jokes or stereotypes aimed at customers. We chose not to respond to the provocations and enjoy the dinner anyway, but it was an experience that left a very negative impression on us.

19/07/2026: We've been there several times. Everything is perfect, no complaints. Just so you know, it's a lounge, not a restaurant.

13/07/2026: Ever since its old location in the piazzetta, this bar has been a regular stop in Porto Cervo for years, the go-to place after a day sailing in La Maddalena. Until yesterday, when we were treated with disarming vulgarity and shortsighted commercialism. Arriving at a deserted bar on a stiflingly hot day, we were denied one of the shaded tables because it was "reserved." A peculiar excuse, to say the least, given that every year, at least a month in advance, I personally check the possibility of securing a table and am always told that reservations for the high season are suspended. Evidently, the rules here are applied selectively and with rather questionable criteria. I had never encountered such unpleasant management. Although I decided to overlook the matter, unconvinced, my wife insisted on leaving immediately: after hours at sea, it was unacceptable to stay drinking under the scorching sun, treated like casual tourists by utterly insensitive staff. If this is the new level of hospitality reserved for loyal customers, we are forced to acknowledge that this little Gallura tradition of ours is over.

10/06/2026: Wow, super duper good local food with perfect service ✨

06/06/2026: We arrived relatively early, shortly before 7:30 pm, so we still had a good selection of tables for two. The service was quite quick; we received two business cards with QR codes, as well as a physical food and drink menu. Unfortunately, it was only in English and Italian. Since I speak Italian, it wasn't a problem for me to understand the menu. Unfortunately, only large bottles of water were served. The beer was served in an iced glass – a nice touch. The starter, a mixed salad for us, was prepared for two people upon request, meaning each of us received a separate plate with the salad. The main course, spaghettone con frutti di mare, was excellent, served with a small plate and a refreshing towel. Kudos! My partner's calzone was also excellent. The wines (Cannonau di Sardegna / Vermentino di Gallura) were served beautifully by the glass. The crema catalana pâté e riduzione al mirto was simply divine. I can personally highly recommend Ristorante La Sciumara. The service staff are attentive, courteous, polite, and very competent.

27/07/2026: In fact, apart from the magnificent setting, this place is a money grab. No matter what cocktail you order, it will cost you €25 and a glass of water €10??? Really? Given the entrance fee, you can't even sit down. Keep walking, there are better things to see in Sardinia.

07/08/2026: Wonderful romantic place, the service is really great. The staff is so kind. The sunset was really wow. The food could actually be improved, small dishes and a bit expensive but that's how it is in Porto Cervo. But it didn't ruin our experience. Here you pay more for the view and the service.
