03/10/2025: Beautiful rooms, good location, great pool area. Very clean and friendly. Compared to other B&Bs, the attention to detail was somewhat lacking (e.g., plastic cups at breakfast). However, it's still highly recommended.

27/09/2025: A beautiful location with very friendly staff. You're truly pampered, and breakfast is served at your table, perfectly balanced. Personally, I find it a shame that there's no cozy seating area in the room, just a picnic table. It's also a shame that there aren't decent cushions on the loungers by the pool. That would give the pool a completely different feel. But otherwise, everything was great!

27/09/2025: In Oliena, in the heart of Barbagia: Sa Corte, a unique welcome and excellent cuisine. The chef is brilliant, as is Giovanna, the mother, who carefully and lovingly prepares her amazing desserts, a treat for the palate and the heart.

24/09/2025: Sa Corte restaurant was a wonderful end-of-vacation discovery. We never expected to find such high-quality cuisine: excellent ingredients and dishes deeply rooted in Sardinian tradition, prepared and presented with great care. The young chef's touch is evident and appreciated in his ability to showcase the ingredients and offer traditional recipes with a modern twist, playing with textures and pairings: the cannoli filled with goat cheese, truffle, and myrtle reduction, the onions in Nepenthe, the green culurgiones with orange reduction, and crispy cheese wafers, are fabulous. The desserts are also excellent. Kudos also to the "hostess" for her kindness, expertise, and passion.

05/10/2025: We were absolutely thrilled. We stayed there for three days. It's not easy to stand upright. The pool and bar were amazing. One small downside: the baguettes 🥖 weren't available until around 9:30.

05/10/2025: The rooms were remarkably small and dark. Although the hotel description advertised a TV for the standard room, there was none. When I spoke to reception on the day of departure, they were very surprised. There was no discount. Breakfast was only available for an additional charge and only from 9 a.m. There were a lot of cats on the property that jumped around you and, when you ate something, sometimes jumped onto the table and begged for food.

21/09/2025: Rude and unwelcoming – we left before even ordering. We visited as a group of three: two meat eaters and one vegetarian. The two meat eaters were considering the tasting menu, and the vegetarian was planning to order à la carte. Nowhere on the website or at the venue was it stated that the entire table must choose the same menu format – and we were happy to proceed that way. However, Matteo insisted that we either all order the tasting menu—even though one of us is vegetarian—or all go à la carte. When we explained this wasn’t possible, he simply left without offering any alternative or suggestion. After driving an hour to get there, the staff offered us water, which we accepted while looking over the menu. While the other staff members were polite and professional, Matteo’s arrogant and ignorant attitude—judging people without knowing them—made us feel completely unwelcome. He even doubted that we had dined elsewhere, showing a clear lack of experience beyond his own bubble—unlike us, who have traveled the world dining in many different places and countries. To add insult to injury, when my husband—who is a regional manager at one of the leading companies in England—left a reasonable review, Matteo responded dismissively with “stay at home.” We’re not going to stay home, and if the attitude doesn’t change, this restaurant will lose customers in the future. It was so uncomfortable that we decided to leave before even placing an order. What made things worse was that they refused to let us take the water they had just offered us, even though we were happy to pay for it. It was an unnecessarily embarrassing moment that showed a total lack of respect for guests. They didn’t even bother offering an apology, an explanation, or an alternative – nothing. It was clear they only care about those prepared to spend hundreds on a piece of meat. If you’re not there to indulge in their full tasting menu with no questions asked, you’re treated like an inconvenience. Reading their responses to other negative reviews shows a pattern of arrogance and defensiveness. Unfortunately, what others have written is exactly what we experienced firsthand. We came ready to enjoy a meal – not to be spoken down to. A deeply disappointing experience, and absolutely not worth the trip. Don’t worry, Matteo, we have enough money to buy the entire island water.

21/09/2025: "Simply fantastic! Sa Tanca e Bore was a true culinary paradise! The young but extremely professional and attentive staff, without being intrusive. The tasting menu was an incredible experience, with a selection of cured meats and extra fried foods that preceded the exquisite first courses. The suckling pig with its crispy rind and tender diaphragm were the real stars of the evening! And the desserts? Divine! The room was welcoming and spotlessly clean, a true refuge after an evening of good food. And breakfast? Couldn't ask for more! The girl at the counter was kind and smiling, and the croissants, jams, fresh fruit, and traditional biscuits were all delicious. We were treated like kings and queens! I highly recommend Tanca di Bore to anyone looking for a quality evening and a pleasant stay. We'll definitely be back!"

07/09/2025: Being one of the firsts in the restaurant we still had to wait over 30 minutes just to get our pizzas, that were good so for that worth the wait for us. However, we saw how other tables waited almost 1 hour to get there food where others that came in later than them (but where locals) got their food almost immediately. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait over 20 minutes and when we asked one of the waiters he said ‘not my table, ask somebody else’. Conclusion: the food is good, but not worth it.

27/07/2025: We were here with my family after lunch, when most of the surrounding restaurants were closed. The staff prepared us a delicious panini with mozzarella, ham, and tomato. It was delicious and the staff was very nice. I recommend it 👍

05/07/2025: Sono stata al bar in occasione del Festival delle storie. Tutti ci hanno accolto con gentilezza e professionalità. Le crostate alla frutta sono la cosa che non scorderemo più. Arrivederci all’anno prossimo

22/09/2025: A very spacious beach. Super clean and well-maintained. With plenty of space, it's pure relaxation! The white sand and crystal-clear water, the dunes, and the green pine forests create a fantastic setting against the mountain backdrop. Two bars offer refreshing drinks, snacks, and local dishes. Delicious. Parking is plentiful, usually for a fee.

06/09/2025: Glad to see that Sardinia also has bad restaurants. The very worst example of the restaurant industry: undercooked fries, a dish missing from the menu but served to the customer next to it, dry squid, tiny portions. An hour of waiting, and the waitress came to change our order three times. The worst part was the arguments in the kitchen that could be heard and seen from the dining room. With all that, an expensive meal and the worst of our stay. Hats off, it's a shame that everything was a mess, it requires a certain excellence in the end. Avoid

06/09/2025: Calamari as dry as the welcome. A restaurant/pizzeria that tells us from the start that pizzas aren't available. Original. So we choose our dishes, only to be told 20 minutes later that they're not available after all. A double-take. After an hour of waiting, two small plates of rubbery calamari with no sauce, a bowl of undercooked frozen fries, and three grilled vegetables dueling on a plate arrive on the table. The finale. To top it all off, this is the most expensive restaurant we've ever been to in Sardinia. A real treat.

13/09/2025: If you're looking for a quality pizza by the slice, well-topped, with excellent service, in a casual yet refined atmosphere, La Tana del Diavolo is an excellent choice. Perfect for a night out with friends, a casual dinner, or even just a quick bite that's truly satisfying.

28/09/2025: Super friendly and attentive service. Since we were coming back from a quick shopping trip and spontaneously stopped by this restaurant, we even got a shopping bag. Delicious pasta with seafood, good house wine with water, and a dessert.
