14/10/2025: We had a very nice evening at the Restaurant. The dishes were perfect. The Service was great, nothing to complain about. It was a perfect Dinner for us. Quality and prices were all right. Thank you Sos Arcos! Perhaps a useful additional information, we were allowed to bring our dog.

21/09/2025: Rude and unwelcoming – we left before even ordering. We visited as a group of three: two meat eaters and one vegetarian. The two meat eaters were considering the tasting menu, and the vegetarian was planning to order à la carte. Nowhere on the website or at the venue was it stated that the entire table must choose the same menu format – and we were happy to proceed that way. However, Matteo insisted that we either all order the tasting menu—even though one of us is vegetarian—or all go à la carte. When we explained this wasn’t possible, he simply left without offering any alternative or suggestion. After driving an hour to get there, the staff offered us water, which we accepted while looking over the menu. While the other staff members were polite and professional, Matteo’s arrogant and ignorant attitude—judging people without knowing them—made us feel completely unwelcome. He even doubted that we had dined elsewhere, showing a clear lack of experience beyond his own bubble—unlike us, who have traveled the world dining in many different places and countries. To add insult to injury, when my husband—who is a regional manager at one of the leading companies in England—left a reasonable review, Matteo responded dismissively with “stay at home.” We’re not going to stay home, and if the attitude doesn’t change, this restaurant will lose customers in the future. It was so uncomfortable that we decided to leave before even placing an order. What made things worse was that they refused to let us take the water they had just offered us, even though we were happy to pay for it. It was an unnecessarily embarrassing moment that showed a total lack of respect for guests. They didn’t even bother offering an apology, an explanation, or an alternative – nothing. It was clear they only care about those prepared to spend hundreds on a piece of meat. If you’re not there to indulge in their full tasting menu with no questions asked, you’re treated like an inconvenience. Reading their responses to other negative reviews shows a pattern of arrogance and defensiveness. Unfortunately, what others have written is exactly what we experienced firsthand. We came ready to enjoy a meal – not to be spoken down to. A deeply disappointing experience, and absolutely not worth the trip. Don’t worry, Matteo, we have enough money to buy the entire island water.

02/11/2025: I couldn't find a better pizza in Sardinia. Dongali is a sleepy little village in the Sardinian mountains. After 8 pm, there's absolutely nothing going on. We had to search for a long time and finally found what we were looking for on Wikipizza. It's a simple pizzeria, and many people get takeaway pizzas there. The pizza was very good, as was the house wine.

26/10/2025: So very good, well cooked, lots of choice between flavours and instant delivery, very approved for celiacs and other intolerances such as lactose and the edge and also very good the gluten-free one 😍😍

15/10/2025: There were three of us there today (husband, pregnant wife, and toddler) and we wanted lunch. It took about five minutes to get a table. Italian guests who arrived after us were served first. The same was true of the table next to us. We were ignored and had to wait about 30 minutes before we could order—after asking. We also asked for a high chair, which they tried to bring us, but it wasn't. Then it took another long time for our food to arrive. Unfortunately, they didn't have all the dishes listed on the menu (including the calzone). The food tasted okay. We left the restaurant very disappointed.

08/10/2025: Excellent cuisine blending tradition with innovative taste and visual appeal. A wonderful experience and impeccable service, despite the restaurant being full. The place is modern and very clean, with a great menu where everyone can find something they like! I highly recommend it 💯

20/09/2025: A charming place, a little difficult to reach, especially at night as the roads aren't well-lit, but you get used to it. The hotel is well-maintained, in an elevated position that offers sweeping views of the coast and the hinterland. Breakfast features excellent local produce, including gluten-free options. The owner was incredibly kind, waiting for me until 2 a.m. due to a delayed ferry from Olbia. The rooms are clean and spacious. I hope to return; highly recommended for peace and quiet.

10/06/2025: We had lunch here after a visit to the caves. Great service and a good menu, we had grilled calamari and an octopus salad. Took great photos from the restaurant of the view.

05/10/2025: The rooms were remarkably small and dark. Although the hotel description advertised a TV for the standard room, there was none. When I spoke to reception on the day of departure, they were very surprised. There was no discount. Breakfast was only available for an additional charge and only from 9 a.m. There were a lot of cats on the property that jumped around you and, when you ate something, sometimes jumped onto the table and begged for food.

05/10/2025: We were absolutely thrilled. We stayed there for three days. It's not easy to stand upright. The pool and bar were amazing. One small downside: the baguettes 🥖 weren't available until around 9:30.

17/10/2025: We've been here five times for dinner and recommend the restaurant for both the pizzas and the fish. The pizzas, a mix of 00 and type 1 flours, are very digestible and topped with originality and generous amounts of ingredients. The fish dishes were also excellent. The hot seafood appetizer was rich, varied, and beautifully presented. Tuna crudités alla pompìa. Octopus bites (soft) on purple potato puree and yellow cherry tomatoes. Good selection of wines, and try the pompìa after your meal, in addition to the classic myrtle liqueur. The setting is also beautiful, with its elegant furnishings and Veronica's friendly, cheerful service. Reservations are recommended ;-)

27/09/2025: In Oliena, in the heart of Barbagia: Sa Corte, a unique welcome and excellent cuisine. The chef is brilliant, as is Giovanna, the mother, who carefully and lovingly prepares her amazing desserts, a treat for the palate and the heart.

24/09/2025: Sa Corte restaurant was a wonderful end-of-vacation discovery. We never expected to find such high-quality cuisine: excellent ingredients and dishes deeply rooted in Sardinian tradition, prepared and presented with great care. The young chef's touch is evident and appreciated in his ability to showcase the ingredients and offer traditional recipes with a modern twist, playing with textures and pairings: the cannoli filled with goat cheese, truffle, and myrtle reduction, the onions in Nepenthe, the green culurgiones with orange reduction, and crispy cheese wafers, are fabulous. The desserts are also excellent. Kudos also to the "hostess" for her kindness, expertise, and passion.

27/07/2025: We were here with my family after lunch, when most of the surrounding restaurants were closed. The staff prepared us a delicious panini with mozzarella, ham, and tomato. It was delicious and the staff was very nice. I recommend it 👍

05/07/2025: Sono stata al bar in occasione del Festival delle storie. Tutti ci hanno accolto con gentilezza e professionalità. Le crostate alla frutta sono la cosa che non scorderemo più. Arrivederci all’anno prossimo

19/10/2025: Welcoming, lively, modern place, with excellent staff, especially Mario's daughter, who is very cheerful and attentive to detail. We had a wonderful time at this beautiful restaurant, our first time there, and it certainly won't be our last. I highly recommend it ☺️
