25/09/2025: "Pizza slices" – that shouldn't be called pizza, and then they shouldn't be charging outrageous prices for it. – No go.

25/09/2025: Sensational food, especially the fish and seafood. The thick-crust pizza is also excellent and not to be missed. Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is very popular. Great atmosphere thanks to its family-run nature.

08/08/2025: Ho prenotato sotto consiglio di un Amico i Crudi di mare: ottimi! Abbiamo poi assaggiato la frittura di pesce e il tiramisù! Tutto equilibrato e saporito; location estiva graziosa e tranquilla per una cena in famiglia dopo una giornata di Mare. Sicuramente Consigliato

08/08/2025: Buonissimo tutto, sopratutto i crudi di mare, la fregola ai frutti di mare. I miei amici si sono deliziati con il fritto misto. Location stupenda e personale super efficiente e cortese.

09/07/2026: I recommend it to fellow drivers. The food is excellent, and the cuisine is authentic. Leave local produce behind. Park at the service station and walk across the pedestrian crossing. It's worth it.

18/10/2025: The rooms are a bit dated, but this is more than compensated for by the overall package and, above all, the incredible friendliness and humanity of the staff. -Eating in the restaurant in the evening is highly recommended 👍🏽 -Superbly maintained grounds and a beautiful (unheated) pool 👍🏽 -There are several cats living on the property, and when our children wanted to pet them, a staff member was immediately on hand to give them small treats to entice them 👍🏽 -When one of our children injured his knee, he received immediate help, the wound was cleaned, and he was given a hug. You could really feel the humanity shown to you🫶🏼 -Moderate breakfast buffet, but you don't need more than that 👍🏽 -Really good location, great advice on beaches, etc. 👍🏽 Highly recommended, many thanks to everyone involved with the hotel.

18/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel with two children for three nights in mid-October. Check-in was very pleasant. They explained to us which direction the wind would be blowing in the next few days and which beaches they recommended. The in-house restaurant was a dream in terms of food, so we spent two evenings there. The service staff was also very good. Whether at meals or at reception, the staff were always friendly. That's unfortunately still rare in Germany. And I trained as a hotel manager myself and always look at the restaurant industry with a strict eye. I like to find something to complain about. ;-) Not at this hotel, however. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't heated. But that didn't bother my husband and children. The rooms were cleaned daily. There were more than enough towels. You could borrow umbrellas, toys, etc. for the beach. The Wi-Fi was faster than at home. The city center was a 15-minute walk away. It was the perfect location for us. The nearest beaches are a 5-minute drive away, the city center and supermarket are 2 minutes away, and the location is quiet with a view of the mountains.

19/06/2025: It's a shame it was a nice place in the good old days, the legendary 1000 seats, the food service was top notch, then the lack of the historic owner, the debut of one of the sons... after various events it got lost, it's a shame but I'm waiting to get back on track.

29/07/2026: I stayed three nights at Sa Funtana. The owner explained to me that the name means "fountain," and indeed, if you take a stroll around the area, you'll find a small fountain surrounded by greenery. It was a detail I really appreciated. I have to be honest: I was a little skeptical after reading some reviews, but after spending a few days here, I realized that we often focus too much on appearances. Laura and her daughter, Ludovica, made me feel at home right away. They are kind, helpful, and always ready to chat or offer advice. Speaking with Laura, I realized how many challenges they faced to keep this place running, and I appreciated even more the commitment and passion they put into it every day. Yes, the place isn't perfect, and there's certainly room for improvement, but for me, these things fade into the background when you find such a sincere welcome. It's easy to find beautiful places these days, but it's much harder to find people who make you feel truly welcome. If you're looking for luxury, this probably isn't the place for you. If, however, you love tranquility, nature, and a simple, family-friendly atmosphere, you'll feel at home here. I truly wish Laura and Ludovica the best and hope to return one day. A quote by Franz Kafka comes to mind that I think sums them up well: "We admire not the barely sprouting flowers on the branches, but the root that sinks deep into the darkness."
