11/03/2025: If you are in Oristano and are looking for a bar that combines a welcoming environment, delicious food and impeccable service, the ALEXANDER BAR at the CC Porta Nuova in Oristano is the place for you. I went on a Tuesday some time ago and I didn't have time to sit down when a very kind waiter approached, if I remember correctly his name was Giorgio and with marked elegance he asked me what I wanted. At that moment I enjoy a welcome and a warm and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for me who always travels and who wouldn't spare any expense for a moment of relaxation. The truly exquisite food, with fresh, quality products and ingredients, which did not disappoint me. What makes this bar really special was the kindness and friendliness that I found in this place: the availability and the attentive welcome to the customers' needs. Every request was satisfied with a smile and nice words that made me laugh so much, the attention to detail reigned supreme in all its aspects, from the fast service to the care with which the food and drinks are served (also the special advice on knowing what to drink is fantastic). In short, a place where quality and hospitality meet perfectly. An excellent choice for those looking for an excellent gastronomic experience in a convivial and pleasant environment. I feel obliged to thank this waiter Giorgio (I hope I got the name right) where I have never encountered his courtesy and friendliness anywhere. I remember that I travel often. Thanks and keep it up.

07/03/2025: this morning I was at the shopping center and as I often do I decided, together with the person who was with me, to stop for a coffee. We spent the entire duration of our stay witnessing a truly pitiful scene. The owner, the lady who usually works at the checkout, yelled at one of her employees because he had made the wrong coffee. As if that wasn't enough, in addition to the disgusting and rude ways used against him, he shouted in an inhuman manner and used vulgar words in front of customers. It goes without saying that I will never set foot there again and I hope that the employee begins to be respected, because no matter how much one finds oneself in the workplace, respect for others comes first. Shame!!!

14/04/2025: Ci sono stato in estate dove ho ordinato degustazione sarda ed emiliana, ho trovato dei taglieri ricchi di cibo e con un ottimo sapore. Ho deciso di riandarci a cena dopo diversi mesi ordinando una degustazione sarda e una di mare. Quella sarda raschia la sufficienza ma nettamente inferiore alla qualità estiva, il maiale ubriaco sono sincero è buono. Tocchiamo il tasto dolente, degustazione di mare. Che dire almeno il 65% è composto da pane. una specie di pallina solida in una carta da pasticcino che ho messo il bocca e mi sono accorto che era burro (SPUTATA), una maionese servita sempre in una carta da pasticcino pessima. Due pezzi di filetti di tonno in scatola su un pezzone di pane che mi sono rifiutato di mangiare, la vedo come una presa in giro. Una polvere di bottarga su un pezzo di carasau incommentabile. I salumi di mare buoni. Parliamo della pasta che definirei TRAGEDIA. Piatto di pasta senza sale il cui sapore è burro non senti altro solo burro, infatti è rimasto li. Esperienza tragica, quello che si vede sui social non corrisponde alla realtà. Questa degustazione di mare è senza idee tirata cosi tanto per. A sto giro BOCCIATI

29/11/2024: Decidimos cenar aquí, ya que estábamos alojados en el complejo (que es precioso). Si bien el restaurante es hermoso, la comida no lo es. Nuestras comidas eran mediocres en el mejor de los casos y los precios eran muy altos. Espero algo mejor por el dinero. Alójese en el complejo, pero coma en otro lugar.

09/10/2024: We had lunch and dinner here once as we were staying at the attached hotel. For lunch I would give 3 stars: we had the pasta with tomato sauce and a club sandwich, a beer and water for 65€. The taste was very good, but both portions were incredibly small and you hardly feel full (and I tend to eat small portions). It would perhaps help to serve bread and olive oil. :) I would give 4-5 stars for dinner. Contrary to many reviews, it tasted really good and was well prepared. The menu may not be for every evening, as it tends to feature creative dishes away from the Sardinian classics. We each shared the starter and dessert and each ordered a main course. You can't get wine for less than €10-15 a glass, which is definitely a bit excessive, even for the region, but as I said, you can accept that for a nice dinner. If you live in a hotel and don't want to spend €100-150 every day for dinner for two, you can go to a restaurant nearby. (We can recommend Pilagá for simple pasta dishes or a mixed starter platter.)

22/06/2025: It was the third time in a couple of years at the Sardinian, yesterday, that I set foot on the Sardinian spit.. always led astray by friends, I remembered the penultimate experience but I didn't want to ruin the invitation and inside me I hoped that it could go better this time, so I went, .... Table of 9 people including 5 children seated at 8.30pm, let's say at 8.45pm, at 10.30pm they still hadn't brought us the steaks, we also had some mixed fried food for the children which arrived together with an octopus salad and some inedible mussels clearly before the steaks.. the only good thing we managed to taste was the bread :) ... I don't want to start a controversy but to point out that we all sweat for our money I think and apart from the small portions, to be clear (a paper cone with 4 calamari and 2 small fish but not at the Sardinian 4 and 2 in number with a large cup inside to cover the holes at €18 is absurd I speak for myself) the poor service that can happen on a day especially on the weekend for goodness sake, but if every time and in my case it was like this 3 times... in my opinion it is better to change course, which we did at 11pm unfortunately since the steaks were not seen... and given the late hour we opted for a seahorse sandwich, after obviously paying the salty bill like the mussels to the owner who apologized. So I give a 1 for the location, because we were in a semi-open room where ants fell from the plant on your head and on the table. I give a 1 for the service, because we did not eat anything apart from the bread, or rather 4 children ate and 1 child and 4 adults nothing, I give a 1 for the really miserable portions. I strongly advise against it to everyone.

27/06/2025: Everything was fine for a quick drink. Nice service, drinks, and good value for money. Great view of the sea. Nothing negative... A well-rounded experience... nice lounge at the front... but completely in the sun...

24/06/2025: Its s great place for a coffee and a drink. Not fancy but the shade and breeze and views are GREAT. Honest prices and good small bites
