13/10/2025: Unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations: the two of us ordered two appetizers (octopus salad and Catalan-style shrimp) and a "superior" (?) fried fish. They assured us they used only fresh products, so I won't contradict them. I will say, however, that the taste, on the palate, was that of frozen products, and not even prime quality. Several dishes on the menu were unavailable. The atmosphere was surreal: Friday evening (October 3rd), 9 pm, with Carloforte full, we were the only two tables for the entire dinner. Important fact: €97 for two appetizers, a main course, a still wine, and two glasses of white wine. Something to reconsider...

25/09/2025: I ordered the mixed grill; I’ve ordered this dish at many different restaurants and never was it as bad as here. Half of the plate was sausage, which is cheap processed meat so a win win for the restaurant and a big part was pork meat. Other than this you got 2 small pieces of beef and they didn’t even ask me how I liked it (rare, medium, well done). I got it served almost raw, which I don’t like, and impossible to chew it. And on top of this it wasn’t even that warm which I don’t understand since it’s supposed to be ‘grilled’. The pizza that I took looked like a frozen pizza from the supermarket, heated in the oven for 5 minutes. It came and after eating 2 slices, the rest of the pizza was cold (and I’m a fast eater). I’ve been in my hotel room for 2 hours and still disgusted by the food.

21/02/2026: One of the best restaurants I love returning to every time I'm in Alghero. The owner is a wonderful person, and the entire staff is fantastic: they make you feel special and warmly welcomed every single time. The sushi is always top-quality and delicious. What amazes me most is that, despite the years, they never miss a beat: the quality remains high and consistent, everything is as good as the first time. Truly well done! I always return with immense pleasure. An absolute guarantee!

16/11/2025: Excellent food, beautifully plated, and decent portions. The place wasn't exactly spotless, with a few cobwebs and a bit of a mess near the bathrooms. The bill was fair, prices were average. I should start by saying that the room was empty; there were seven of us. The overall experience would have been more than positive if it hadn't been for the waitress's attitude when I told her we wouldn't be splitting the bill equally, but rather based on our orders. From that moment on, the waitress never left the table, appearing nervous and impatient, seeming annoyed that we were arguing among ourselves and, to boot, meddling in our accounts. This attitude left us very perplexed, ruining the good feeling we were feeling when we left the table. Service: 0. Too bad...

06/11/2025: We stayed in Pula for 3 weeks and had dinner and aperitivi here on a number of occasions. The staff were brilliant, very friendly and we always received a warm welcome. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend, we loved it!

26/02/2026: Having dinner after an event, with a reserved room and a pre-arranged meat menu, completely satisfied all of our many guests. Bold flavors on non-classic dishes, with discreet and prompt service. The cake wasn't excellent due to the disproportionate portions. Highly recommended.

17/01/2026: We need more places like this. Peaceful, without the crowds of trendy or "hip" establishments. Excellent service, delicious food, carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Very kind and attentive staff. There is one small flaw, however: the kitchen closes a bit early. It's a real shame; moving the kitchen closing time an hour later would be a little more in line with expectations, as it's a lounge bar. Anyway, heartfelt compliments, highly recommended.

27/09/2025: A beautiful location with very friendly staff. You're truly pampered, and breakfast is served at your table, perfectly balanced. Personally, I find it a shame that there's no cozy seating area in the room, just a picnic table. It's also a shame that there aren't decent cushions on the loungers by the pool. That would give the pool a completely different feel. But otherwise, everything was great!

11/09/2025: The food was excellent, with generous portions and well-prepared dishes. They were excellent with both fish and meat dishes. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. We had a great time there twice in three days and will be back. Don't order the pizza; ours was awful.

05/01/2026: Quite dated hotel. Very kind and friendly staff, good breakfasts, but... Old rooms and bathrooms in need of renovation, old, with rusty and peeling parts. Superficial cleaning, with only a bed moved, left clumps of dust and a used handkerchief underneath. Tried the on-site restaurant twice, but avoid; expensive and subpar food.

10/01/2026: Last night we returned for dinner to this pizzeria where we'd eaten several times in the past. We've always returned for the quality of the food, despite the service that has often left much to be desired in terms of timing and staff courtesy. After yesterday's experience, however, I don't think we'll be returning. When we ordered, the place was almost empty, and yet the wait was inexplicably long. We ordered first courses, but only then were we informed that we could only order second courses and pizzas because the kitchen was closed. To our obvious perplexity, the waitress responded with a somewhat ungraceful response, "Didn't they tell you when you booked?" Of course not. At that point, we settled on pizza. The Regina pizza listed artichokes and bottarga as ingredients on the menu. We were asked whether we preferred fresh or pickled artichokes, and we chose the fresh ones, without any mention of a surcharge. The final order was: three Regina pizzas (one with pancetta instead of bottarga) and a Carbonara. When the pizzas arrived, the Carbonara was without egg. It was taken away for remaking and returned to the table only about 20 minutes later, causing obvious inconvenience. The real surprise, however, came when we received the bill: the Regina pizzas, which listed as €10.50 on the menu, were charged €12.50 and even €14.50. When asked for clarification, we were told that fresh artichokes were considered an add-on, and that the pancetta (bacon) instead of guanciale was an additional addition, since the basic version calls for artichokes in oil. It's a shame that the menu simply states "artichokes," with no distinction or indication of any additional costs. We note that we were not informed of these surcharges when we ordered. The waitress admitted we were right, but justified herself by saying she wasn't the one who took the order. An extremely disappointing experience: poor communication, lack of transparency, obvious errors, and downright terrible service.

11/09/2025: This restaurant in Porto Rotondo is in a prime location (it was hard to find at night) and very quiet. It offers a well-presented menu and a decent wine list. The service is top-notch. Despite the fact that September isn't very busy in the area, neither the service nor the quality has suffered. I can't comment on the price because you're in Porto Rotondo. You wouldn't want to eat like at B.K. Highly recommended for many reasons, but what we liked most was the attention of the waiters and the owner himself. Thanks for the myrtle!!!!

08/09/2025: The location is simply unique on the Costa Smeralda, a fantastic, elegant little square with a breathtaking view. Prices are average for Porto Rotondo. Excellent food with a simple, typical local menu. Oscar-winning fregola. My heartfelt compliments to the entire staff. Absolutely not to be missed. You'll experience a special evening. Well done, and sincere congratulations.
