30/06/2026: I had already booked a couple of days in advance, but when we arrived there was no reservation. They sorted it out right away, however, by placing us at a table for four, even though there were six of us. On the plus side, we ate excellent pizza. Perhaps they could use more decent tables, since ours consisted of two different tables, and above all, good knives. A word of advice: perhaps let them know that there is only the outdoor dining area.

23/06/2026: The background music was light and not at all intrusive. The dishes were delicious, local, and fresh. We recommend the spaghetti vongole and the gnocchetti caprese! The portions are generous and the value for money is excellent. The service is quick and the waitresses are friendly.

07/06/2026: Generous portions, but frozen fish. Questionable service. I sat down for lunch and was mostly ignored for the first 10 minutes. They didn't even bring me water. Then, some of the owner's relatives came in after me and were immediately brought water and bread. Nothing for me. I didn't even see the bread. Needless to say, after ordering and waiting another 15 minutes, the dishes were served first to the last ones in and then to me. In conclusion, I'd say the prices are above average for the area. There are much better places in the area.

27/06/2026: Excellent food, clean place, and fairly friendly service. Recommended, although the prices have gone up too much all at once. For example, mussels used to cost €10 a portion, now they're €14. The €4 increase all at once is outrageous. ☹️

19/07/2026: It was my first time at this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by the tasting menu, featuring everything from super-fresh seafood. The dishes were very elegant in their composition, not only pleasing to the eye, which is always a plus, but truly delicious. The appetizers were tastings, meaning you couldn't gorge on them, but they were fine because I ate everything. From the two first courses to the main course (grilled fish), everything was very generous. Kudos also to the attentive, prompt, and attentive service. I'd like to repeat, I didn't know this place.

16/04/2026: I'll start by saying that I was drawn to the aroma that wafts out from the bar early in the morning. Today I finally managed to get in, and besides having eaten the best fried donut in 10 years—very light, not greasy, and with zero oil flavor—I'm mainly leaving this review for the two guys serving. There was a lot of traffic, and the place was clearly understaffed. Extremely professional, always smiling and impatient, they juggled the cash register, dozens of coffees, table orders, and clearing the tables. I've managed restaurants abroad, and finally here I see people who know how to work and, above all, MAKE A DIFFERENCE, smiling and knowing how to address the customer. I advise the owner to treat them with care. New customer acquired!

30/12/2025: The pizza is good, even the gluten-free one! The staff is super friendly and helpful! It's ready quickly.

30/12/2025: A delightful pizzeria in Tempio's town square. Simple and welcoming, the service is prompt. The "Il Pendolino" calzone is truly delicious, filled with mozzarella and gorgonzola and topped with generous amounts of prosciutto, arugula, shaved parmesan, and cherry tomatoes (and washed down with unfiltered Ichnusa). Reasonable prices.

15/05/2026: Excellent welcome and service. A selection of truly delicious appetizers, in typical Sardinian style. The fregola with mussels and bottarga, with a hint of spice, was the best. The homemade cheesecake was also good. Excellent value. €34 per person. Reservations are recommended as there are only a few tables.

22/05/2026: The hotel is well-located and central, yet we were able to park on the street every day without any problems. It's nicely renovated and comfortable. We didn't try the restaurant because we went on a day trip to the beautiful beaches of Sardinia. We would definitely return.

22/05/2026: The central location is excellent for the feast of Sant'Egidio on May 1st. The breakfast isn't the best, it's standard. But the staff is always helpful. The rooms aren't bad, a little dated but comfortable. Antique in the beautiful sense. In any case, there are some valuable collectibles. Kudos to the owner for that.

26/05/2026: I stopped by one evening (a Monday, so it wasn't very crowded). I had a rib-eye steak with a side of grilled vegetables, which was truly tender and tasty. Excellent beer selection. The dessert was also good. The staff was truly kind and attentive. I would return.

03/05/2026: A true pub where you can find your favorite beer and enjoy excellent food. Impeccable service and a very friendly Andrea who treated us like royalty. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back every time we pass through Assemini.
