24/07/2026: We stopped for dinner along the way and found a welcoming place that perfectly complemented its surroundings. The cuisine offers a variety of options, some of which are unique. Excellent ceviche, spectacular grilled octopus, and spectacular fregola and lobster spaghetti. We loved the ambiance so much that we returned two days later for the afternoon. The daytime service is just as excellent as the evening one, and the option of dining right on the beach is the icing on the cake. Recommended for those seeking relaxation and pampering.

27/07/2026: In fact, apart from the magnificent setting, this place is a money grab. No matter what cocktail you order, it will cost you €25 and a glass of water €10??? Really? Given the entrance fee, you can't even sit down. Keep walking, there are better things to see in Sardinia.

09/06/2026: It's been a while since I've eaten here, but I'll definitely be back soon. I chose the menu with eight courses plus dessert and a bottle of white wine. I was full and happy to have savored several dishes, each one more delicious than the last. The menu could have ended sooner. I was already full a few courses before the end, but I wanted to try the last few as well, and I wasn't disappointed! Everything was delicious: top-quality ingredients and exceptional cuisine. The attentive service and the quiet, elegant, and intimate atmosphere were an added bonus that made a normal evening with friends perfect.

The cuisine respects the flavors of the countryside, with excellent cured meats and cheeses, and numerous tastings that recall the flavors of times gone by. 22/06/2026: Mesa e Oro 🌟 I celebrated my birthday at Mesa e Oro and I couldn't have made a better choice. The location is stunning, with a pool and tastefully decorated rooms, perfect for events of up to 100 people. I relied entirely on the owners, even with the food, without outside catering, and everything was excellent and much appreciated by the guests. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always available. We spent a wonderful evening, from 9 pm until 2 am, in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. A truly positive experience that I highly recommend!

01/06/2026: The place is unique, especially for its vaults... the decor is equally unconventional, perhaps a little overdone. The food is good but not exceptional, and the price is a bit high compared to the average restaurant on the island. We ate the fixed tuna tour menu (menu price 50 euros per person). There were four appetizers, but as shown in the photo, they were a bit limited. The staff was courteous and helpful.

28/04/2026: I don't recommend it! The place says it's open from 12:30 PM. At 6:15 PM, the waitress arrogantly tells you to leave because they open at 7:45 PM. The food may be tasty, but the rude service is definitely not inviting, and the opening hours are misleading. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!

13/07/2026: A disappointing experience, to say the least, both for the quality of the staff (two ladies as friendly as a finger in the eye), but also for the food served: terrible both in quality and presentation. I ordered a first course of ravioli with tomato sauce (and stopped there because of the unpleasant flavor), while my wife ordered a lemon veal scallops (unsightly) with a side of zucchini (sliced ​​very thickly and undercooked). It's a shame, because the setting is not bad and, more importantly, it has a splendid view.

09/08/2026: A disappointment... with a few surprises. Let's start with something important: the restaurant has two kitchens, and judging by what we ate, they truly seem like two different worlds. One part is definitely worth a visit, the other... perhaps another chance, but not on our part. 😅 We're from Alghero and know the flavors of our cuisine well. So, when we go out to eat, we know pretty well what to expect from a plate of mussels, a fish cooked in garlic sauce, or a seafood fregola. The waitress who served us, a blonde lady, certainly didn't contribute to making the experience more pleasant: she had a rather haughty attitude and lacked professionalism. Let's just say that the welcome wasn't exactly the highlight of the evening. The appetizers? Okay. The bread? Okay. So far, nothing to complain about. Then came the mussels. And here we had a real surprise... unfortunately, not in a good way. 😂 Mussels tasteless, without texture, practically boiled, and then accompanied by a tomato sauce that seemed to have the same enthusiasm as the mussels: zero. As a local from Alghero, I can confidently say it was one of the worst mussel experiences I've ever had. Rating: 0. The fish with garlic sauce? Definitely better, but not quite as impressive. Rating: 5. Then came the seafood fregola. It wasn't bad, mind you. But it wasn't the kind of dish that makes you think, "Wow, I want more!" Let's just say it was there... and it did its job. 😅 Rating: 6. To be fair, though, I must also mention the positives: in the other part of the restaurant, the pizzas are very good and the gelato is truly excellent. So evidently, the two cuisines aren't just physically separated... even the result on the plate seems to belong to two completely different restaurants. In conclusion: pizza and gelato yes, seafood... definitely not. It's a shame, because we expected a lot from a restaurant in Alghero and instead it's the classic one that cooks for tourists

06/07/2026: Very nice, well-maintained restaurant, good, fresh fish. The only sore point was a mix-up with the waiter. I ordered half a plate of fried calamari without vegetables, and he ended up charging me for it as a normal portion. I pointed out the mistake on the bill, and they told me I hadn't ordered a half portion, but a full one without vegetables. Next time, I'll order with the recorder on.

05/07/2026: We went to this restaurant during our vacation and had a great time. The dishes were generous, the mussels with pepper sauce and the lobster linguine were superb...I recommend it!
