04/10/2025: Family dinner. Very nice and welcoming restaurant with an outdoor seating area on the picturesque and famous Piazza Galilei. The owner Franco and his staff were very kind and attentive to our needs, as there were two vegetarians. Excellent seafood dishes, from appetizers to first courses and fried calamari, with a wide selection of wines. As soon as I return to Cagliari, I will definitely return. 24/09/2025: A small but welcoming place, with very friendly staff. The food was good and plentiful. We ordered the parcel, which was tasty, but we expected a little more seafood, which was very sparse. We expect it to improve next time.

27/01/2026: Three people: basic menu €12, off-menu 1-liter water plus a quarter of wine price: €45.60...€9.60 more! Whoever's working the register should go clean the bathrooms.

02/01/2026: Extremely disappointing New Year's Eve dinner. The place was very cold, and we had to eat in jackets and hats, which is unacceptable for a New Year's Eve dinner. When we arrived, they sat us at a table with strangers instead of our friends, and they didn't make up for it, not even with an apology. Some dishes on the menu never arrived, and the staff was unfriendly. The unprofessional attitude of the staff ruined the evening. Unfortunately, I don't recommend this place, and I don't intend to repeat the experience.

31/01/2026: Everything is fresh and good, the service is fast and the price is fair. Highly recommended.

22/01/2026: We opted for the seafood menu. Everything was excellent. The waiters were truly professional. They treated my granddaughter to a dessert decorated with her name. Highly recommended, even for celiacs.

06/02/2026: Crystal chandeliers and/or other frills aren't necessary to define a good hotel...the Flora, in its simplicity, offers everything that so-called large hotels advertise. The staff is helpful and friendly, and the rooms are welcoming. All this is complemented by the adjacent restaurant, where you can enjoy typical Cagliari cuisine at reasonable prices. An experience I recommend to anyone staying in Cagliari.

04/11/2025: I was here for dinner, and I had a braised octopus terrine, which wasn't anything special. The octopus was good, but the dish itself was bland and a bit bland. For €18, I definitely expected more. Luckily, the Sardinian fregula with shellfish elevated the dinner; it was tasty, well-made, and I recommend it. The service was attentive and well-timed. The overall quality is there, but the prices are a bit high, and some of the preparation could be improved.

28/07/2025: The place looks and feels like someone’s basement, there is a terrible smell which makes it impossible to sit comfortably and enjoy your food, and I saw all of one cat. It is also very small and dark, as there were only two small windows and the place was cramped. I immediately left and bought a water bottle out of courtesy which cost me €2, ridiculous for a bottle of water. Would not recommend, do not waste your time.

17/09/2025: We came to lunch at Nido dell'Aquila at the end of our vacation, but I really wish we'd discovered this place sooner so we could have come back for more and tried the entire menu! The woman in the dining room was wonderful and super welcoming, the food was fantastic, with an honorable mention for the homemade prosciutto ❤️ We recommend visiting the hinterland as well as the coast! (For those who want to find a middle ground, this place is perfect, about 30-40 minutes from the sea.)

24/09/2025: Top location, beautiful and very well-kept. The food is delicious. Every dish is an experience. The meat is delicious, and I say this as a Florentine, but the real difference is made by the owner, who is friendly and always has a smile, which I swear never hurts. Well done, keep it up.

14/11/2025: Our August holiday in Sardinia was truly wonderful! Nicola and Teresa are two warmhearted people: kind, helpful, and always ready to help, with a passion for what they do. The apartments are new, welcoming, and meticulously maintained. The restaurant downstairs is also excellent, especially the pizza, which is truly delicious! Highly recommended!

20/10/2025: If you're in the Pontinia area for work or vacation, I recommend stopping by this lovely place. The staff is friendly and welcoming, but the most important thing, beyond the charming decor, is the quality of the products. Good coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and excellent pasta dishes, including takeaway options. I was very pleased. Keep up the good work, well done!
