18/10/2024: Superlative experience. Cleanliness, food, kindness and friendliness. And then the relaxation of the countryside without being too far from the center of Otranto... perfect! A special applause in particular to the staff, Teresa and Daniele know how to pamper you in an exceptional way with their magical hands in the beautiful SPA. Giulia, Katiuscia and the colleague whose name we don't remember are always super helpful and smiling. The ladies at breakfast were friendly and super attentive to keeping the buffet always full and tidy. The restaurant staff were super competent and kind with the story of each dish and the wine chosen. In short, everything was truly beautiful and an experience to be repeated as soon as possible.

29/08/2024: Discovered by chance while walking around Otranto, a real gem. As a lactose intolerant person, it becomes increasingly difficult to find ice cream shops with a wider choice than the usual strawberry and chocolate. At the Gelateria Del fico I was able to choose from numerous flavours, all exceptional. the pistachio without milk looked like a real pistachio and let's not talk about the fig, as if I had picked it from the tree right at that moment. Quality/price 10 out of 10, congratulations!!

02/10/2024: Visita ad Otranto in una magnifica domenica mattina di fine settembre. La simpatia e la gentilezza del personale del Borghi d"Otranto ci ha attratti ad accomodarci in uno dei tavolino all'esterno. Pucce al polpo, pittule e piccola rosticceria locale accompagnati da una buona fresca birra "Terrona" (produzione locale), un'ottima esperienza, bell'ambiente e soprattutto professionalità, cortesia, simpatia ed esperienza di Rocco. Soddisfatti, consigliato.

12/10/2024: Very scenic restaurant, especially the outdoor room and in summer it is truly fantastic. We came to this restaurant attracted by the positive reviews, especially from locals. We ate well, but we expected something more. There are very few mixed raw seafood options and perhaps this is where we expected more: average flavor, not exceptional. The frying on the other hand was really delicious, masterfully fried!

17/09/2024: I found myself in this restaurant by chance, and I was truly pleasantly surprised, both by the location and by the service and quality of the food, very fresh, well represented aesthetically. Very friendly and courteous staff, we will definitely return.

29/08/2024: An hour of waiting for mediocre appetizers, another hour to receive raw and super salty first courses that were not even changed and put on the bill. Absolutely rejected

29/08/2024: Evidently it was the wrong night. The 4 of us arrived at 8.45pm and received the starters at 9.30pm. I, 11, and D agostino, 8, waited for the first courses which, unfortunately, as well as arriving at 10.30pm, were unfortunately undercooked (spaghetti with clams and artichoke tortelli) I can't say I'm satisfied but I'm writing this review before receiving the bill. If they make me pay for everything I don't want to worry, D Agostino writes too. The owner responded and I'll tell you this! For the owner as the superior does: You made me pay for the conichiglioni and above all if I ask you for the TAX RECEIPT DON'T SAY THAT YOU GAVE IT TO ME BECAUSE YOU MADE A REALLY LIKE A PANINARO IMAGE LEARN EDUCATION! whenever you want I'll wait for you at my place in Turin

07/10/2024: Wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich bedient. Man sitzt nett. Auch dass wir sowohl Vorspeise, Pasta und Hauptspeise teilen wollten war kein Problem. Niemand verzog das Gesicht. Und es hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Die Pasta mit Oriechiette con cime di rapa - köstlich. Die Nachspeisen, u.a. Caffe Leccese und Tiramisu - einfach perfekt. Der Wein gut, selbst der Grappa preiswert und gut trinkbar. Der Preis für alles - absolut angemessen. Wir können dieses Lokal wirklich empfehlen!

05/10/2024: Non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di mangiare perché non ci hanno fatto fermare , la risposta è stata non c’è la facciamo . Faccio presente che c’era una festa di diciott’anni che dovevano ancora arrivare (Questo è metà sana), L’altra metà era completamente vuota in più ci saranno state almeno otto persone ferme con le braccia conserte. Mi spiace molto per l’accaduto ma non è un modo di comportarsi e di rispondere alla clientela.

21/10/2024: A great, small hotel within walking distance of the beautiful old town of Otranto. Very nice employees who enhance the ambience even more. The owner has turned the hotel into a small nautical museum. 😉

20/08/2024: A perfect stay My husband and I stayed for ten days in August at La Corte di Nettuno, a hotel located a few steps from the Aragonese Castle. Thanks to the staff, who satisfied us in every way and pampered us, it was a truly splendid ten days. Starting from the very clean and fragrant room, the plentiful and quality breakfast (sweet and savory) and the truly excellent dinner. Furthermore there was a shuttle that took us to the beach (twenty minute ride) located near the Baia dei Turchi (which could be easily reached from the beach). Both the staff and the owner were very nice to us and the latter even gave us his own coffee as a gift. The property boasts a maritime collection on display located on each floor. The staff members are all competent, both on the professional and human side, all being very empathetic. In particular Antonio, a great connoisseur of Apulian history and wines as well as local products; the very kind Arianna who took all the needs of the moment to heart; Christian who remembered all our preferences by heart; Romina and Paola are always available and ready to give you all the necessary information and in general everyone, from the night receptionists, the cleaners, the excellent chefs and the shuttle driver Mauro, made us experience ten wonderful days. We will definitely be back. I strongly recommend Hotel la Corte di Nettuno.

03/11/2024: Beautiful masseria with excellent service and the best sea views. Germana and her team gave us a very friendly welcome and were always very warm. The breakfast buffet was huge and tasted great. We definitely recommend dinner in the Masseria, which was OUTSTANDING! We would definitely come back. Little bonus: the cat Simba is a real treasure 🥰

23/10/2024: Masseria dei Monaci....I would like to give it a 10 star.! Returned yesterday from this paradise..., everything was perfect from the location, to the order, to the cleanliness, the refined furnishings down to the smallest details, the sublime breakfast....the very varied buffet, all homemade and you can feel it!! !! ...I recommend trying the lemon cream tart ...it's fantastic, but like everything else. In this farm you can breathe serenity and peace. All thanks to the friendliness of the very kind Mrs. Germana and her collaborators, you can sense that they work with love! Everything made our stay unforgettable. Thank you very much to all the staff.

12/09/2024: During a tour of Puglia we had lunch in this farmhouse completely immersed in nature, we were 46 people we didn't have a good time... much more they were extremely kind, with these trips usually the structures from the travel agencies are rather penalized because they have to keep prices very low and therefore give the bare minimum, they instead gave us a tray full only of appetizers, then the first one the century and the dessert they didn't spare themselves at all they always served us impeccably and professionally, they also have their products for sale, we bought the oil, on their property there is also a bunker from the Second World War for history buffs, well done, keep up the good work!

02/08/2024: For more than three years in a row now, I have been spending my summer holidays at the Hotel Universo, located in the beautiful area of ​​the Alimini Lakes, rich in pine forests and Mediterranean scrub. In this place I found the ideal combination of the beauty of the sea, excellent cuisine and comfortable living. The sea: it is really just a few steps from the rooms (30 meters or 50 meters depending on the accommodation) and is extraordinarily clear. Furthermore, with a short walk along the shoreline (about 500 metres) you can easily reach Baia dei Turchi, one of the most beautiful beaches in Salento. The cuisine: the skill of the chefs is combined with the quality of the raw materials, allowing us to savor truly good dishes, simple but (perhaps for this very reason) full of flavour. Worth trying are the spaghetti from the Adriatic, the Universo risotto, the spaghetti with crab and the second courses where fish reigns supreme. The hotel restaurant is also open to external customers; for those (like me) who benefit from half board, the choice between three first courses and three second courses is available, but variations are also offered every day. With a very small difference in price you can still order any other dishes on the menu. The living room: the rooms are simple but well looked after and clean, equipped with everything you need. The best (as the name suggests) are the Comfort ones but the others also allow for an excellent stay. Internal parking for the car is available; the beautiful Otranto is just a few minutes away, as is Torre dell'Orso. To top it all off, there is the kindness and availability of Luca, the owner, and all the staff. Ultimately a place to recommend to those who love simple but quality things.
