11/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante ieri sera ed è stata una splendida cena abbiamo mangiato benissimo e siamo stati accolti con gentilezza e simpatia. Silvia è una ragazza stupenda la recensione sotto non è neanche da valutare perché uno non può pretendere di trovare posto a Gallipoli prenotando mezz'ora prima e per di più alle 22 c'erano già tavoli vuoti ed è arrivata altra gente a mangiare. Bisogna portare rispetto per la gente che lavora bene. Ci sono rimasto male io x Silvia a leggere la recensione sotto. Detto questo se siete a Gallipoli andate a Santa Monaca verrete coccolati dall'inizio alla fine.

10/06/2025: È un ristorante molto carino vista mare. Ha un gazebo dove potere pranzare e cenare che protegge sia dal sole che dall'umidità. Silvia è una persona squisita. È molto preparata e ama il suo lavoro. Lo chef è uscito a salutarci e gli abbiamo fatto i complimenti per il buonissimo antipasto e per i tagliolini allo scorfano preparati al momento. Abbiamo potuto vedere e scegliere il nostro pesce. La cantina è ben fornita. Torneremo presto ad assaggiare altre prelibatezze insieme ad amici.

10/06/2025: Unique experience, modern place, efficient and polite staff, pizza like no other, I took 3 different pizzas, 1 better than the other..you are the best..I recommend it to everyone..

09/06/2025: I almost shed a tear as I bit into the first slice of pizza. Hugs to the chef and the staff at this place. It was a unique experience, and I'll take it with me for the rest of my life.

27/06/2025: Tasty dishes (mostly seafood), fresh ingredients (fish was from the catch of the day), nice atmosphere and personnel. We had dinner here both days while in Gallipoli. Definitely not a tourist trap.

26/06/2025: A completely overrated place, in my opinion! We ordered the tasting menu, and it left us somewhat indifferent. The service was a bit unfriendly, and they brought our dishes practically at the same time, which meant we didn't enjoy the meal because we had to eat as quickly as possible so the dishes wouldn't get cold. Quite disappointing because we had high expectations. Still, the place is beautiful and the wine was delicious, which is why I'm giving it three stars.

Servizio curato e professionale, grazie Francesco!, e grande empatia con il proprietario Sig Paolo, sempre disponibile e aperto a mettere le persone a proprio agio. Grazie sempre! 12/06/2025: Totally by chance we ended up at this restaurant for lunch this afternoon. It was very quiet, the gentleman was sitting outside on his terrace and looked around. When he noticed us he came to us, the calm and friendliness itself, with advice, clear explanation and attention for us. We had a fantastic lunch, the waitress and the lady herself were also very hospitable and had an eye for us as guests. The portions were large, we were given the leftovers carefully packed to take home. And that in a tourist town, you don't expect it (anymore). A unique meeting and experience that we will always remember with emotion and much pleasure. Thank you dear people of Portolano!!!

01/06/2025: Hello everyone, yesterday May 31st we were in this really nice place. It felt like living in a fairy tale😁 We preferred to sit outside with fairy-tale style chairs and tables😄😄 we liked it a lot. I think and believe that we were welcomed by the owner: welcoming and very kind, satisfying our thousand questions (not being from Puglia). Quiet and clean place. Clean bathrooms with all the comforts. We really liked everything we ordered. Normal prices. If we were from the area we would be regular customers... Don't regret it, go there!

09/06/2025: evening in the center of Gallipoli, walking around the historic center, we chose among all the restaurants the RosiNella trattoria.. family-run.. but I noticed that the quantity price is a little higher than average.. given that we are in a seaside location and paying a shrimp 6 euros x 4 in my opinion a little out.. and as for the seafood salad.. it was more of a small octopus salad 🐙.

27/04/2025: In an old, perfectly renovated room, with exposed tuff block walls, there is this elegant tavern that offers typical dishes of Salento cuisine. We had fried calamari and prawns and an almond and fig semifreddo washed down with San Marzano: all excellent. Nice staff.

28/04/2025: A small address in the heart of the old town, a real butcher's shop which offers good grilled meats and local wine for good value for money. You can even choose the meat from the stall! The service is pleasant and attentive.

11/06/2025: Yummy local based seafood dinner. Everyone around us was a local and the staff was attentive and friendly. We loved our pastas and split grilled swordfish and it was great
