06/06/2025: Today as a conclusion of the holiday we ate at Gli Acrchi. What a delicious food and very friendly people. We took the traditional Puglia starter, with a variety of vegetables, pizza, squid and other delicacies. As a main course a good pizza and pasta with langoustines. Really recommended for this region

18/01/2025: Found it by chance. Very good pizzas, one of which was a little burned. We found a table on Saturday night despite the small space. Service was quick and friendly. I asked for chili pepper, but they brought me a little oil that wasn't spicy at all. While we were eating, a strong smell of smoke wafted from the kitchen. We finished our pizzas and ran away. Good value for money.

17/06/2025: Beautiful bay, with all kinds of facilities. Sunbeds, clean toilet, shower and bar. Friendly owner. There is ample parking. There is free wifi. You can walk straight into the water via the beach and you can snorkel well because of the rocks. We had to pay 18 euros for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. It is a bit more expensive in the weekend. This is really recommended!

28/06/2025: Does it ever happen to you to go to a restaurant on the first night of your vacation, fall in love with the dishes and the location and go back every day for a whole week? For us it was like this…. We discovered Marea, after a careful selection of the best locations where you can taste typical Apulian dishes. The first night we entered and found ourselves in a very elegant, refined and cared for place in every detail. You enter breathing in a scent coming from fresh flowers, candles and divided into two areas, one outside in the garden, the other inside with air conditioning. We tried various dishes on the menu, from fresh raw fish of excellent quality and coming from local areas, to first courses, for any taste and delicious, to some typical dishes, a real treat! Even the desserts and sorbets of our own production. Excellent wine cellar. The management is done directly by the owners, each specialized in their role, done with Love and Niche. Thank you for letting us taste your wonderful dishes and for letting us breathe the scent of home, Yours. Impeccable and that we already remember with nostalgia.!

06/07/2025: I had been advised against it, but I like to judge for myself. Paccheri with scampi left with all the intestines; the owner confirmed to me that for them it's fine like this and if the customer doesn't want it he has to remove it himself. We ordered marinated anchovies as an appetizer, they arrived 2 times and 2 other times we were asked if we had received them. Total confusion and disorganization. Only the only female waitress seems to master her job. I hope she finds a more rewarding place for her qualities, and I speak as a restaurateur.

03/07/2025: Great atmosphere with direct sea views. Delicious traditional fish dishes. Prices are perfectly reasonable compared to other restaurants. Top-notch service. We'd be happy to return.

09/05/2025: For the first time in this hotel in Mattinata. On other holiday occasions we have stayed in other facilities in the area. On this occasion at La Rotonda we appreciated the excellent location directly on the sea, the kindness and smiles of the staff. Varied and abundant breakfast. Excellent cleanliness of the rooms and external areas, such as the beautiful swimming pool.

04/05/2025: Bella location a metà, davanti hai il mare dietro Il parcheggio delle auto. E se ne fregano altamente di parcheggiare davanti al tuo tavolo. Ragazzi gentili ma alla fine cibo al limite della sufficienza. Cibo appena da 6. Zuppa di pesce non era una zuppa. 30/06/2025: Such a wonderful dinner. Flavours, service, simplicity yet depth. The Sea Urchin was a highlight. It's a bit odd as the environment does not strike you as fine dining (plastic spoons for the urchin if you don't want to eat them with bread) but the flavours are exquisite. The wine was also out of this world. Music choice could be worked on. They were playing Jessie J and Miley Cyrus. Seems to be a thing in South Italy to play mainstream radio hits rather than create an ambience with local or more seaside appropriate music. This is the only down side though.

16/06/2025: A real pearl on the sea! I have been to this restaurant overlooking the sea and I was enchanted by it, both for the breathtaking location and for the quality of the food. I ordered a selection of seafood appetizers, both raw and cooked, and it was an unforgettable experience: each course was taken care of down to the smallest details, with very fresh raw materials and surprising combinations. The raw fish was of a unique delicacy, while the hot appetizers released intense and authentic flavors. Attentive, professional but never invasive service. All accompanied by a sea view that alone is worth the trip. Highly recommended for those who love good fish and are looking for a truly special experience.

When we phoned a unique availability just for the simple gesture of having cooked ONLY for my son the pasta with sauce would deserve 5 stars but.... EXCELLENT starter and very filling. The meat is to be discussed, it wasn't very good in taste and I'm talking about dry pork meat and the taste was unpleasant while the veal meat was better but still nothing exceptional. Excellent dessert. The bill? Delivered on a notepad. Menu not present. High bill for what we ate. The place has excellent chances of growing only if it opens its doors a little more to new management and service

19/06/2025: Attratti dalla location ci siamo fermati ma che delusione: Antipasto di cozze neanche male ma le alici marinate sapevano solo di aceto e assomigliavano molto a quelle di un supermercato. Spaghetti alle vongole che non sapevano di niente e spaghetti allo scoglio che sembravano in brodo. Mai più…

11/06/2025: Siamo stati qui il 2 giugno, premesso che fosse un giorno festivo e anche caldo, il ristorante era affollato infatti abbiamo dovuto attendere circa un’oretta prima di poterci accomodare. Al momento dell’ordine, il cameriere ci comunica che alcuni dei primi piatti presenti sul menù non erano disponibili, quindi la scelta si riduceva a soli quattro piatti. Dopodiché ordiniamo un piatto di ricci, un’insalata di polipi, spaghetti con gli scampi e spaghetti ai frutti di mare, più una porzione di frittura di pesce mista. Il cameriere ci comunica che il costo dei ricci è di 1,50 € a pezzo, ma se volevamo quelli più grandi e pieni avevano un costo di 2,50 € a pezzo, il che mi sembrava abbastanza esagerato e ovviamente abbiamo optato per quelli da 1,50 €. In effetti non erano un granché, stessa cosa per l’insalata di polipo pagata circa 7/8 €, per una porzione davvero misera. Almeno i primi erano abbastanza abbondanti e la qualità dei prodotti era tutto sommato buona. Il locale è carino, in quanto si trova fronte mare, ma il servizio è fatto con tovaglia e piatti usa e getta. Il conto finale era di 63 €, con quello elencato prima e una bottiglietta d’acqua più un quartino di vino bianco, per la quantità dei piatti che abbiamo mangiato, ci aspettavamo qualcosa in meno o che comunque venisse arrotondato il totale a 60 € (trattandosi di uno sconto di appena €3), cosa che non è stata fatta e non ci è neanche stato rilasciato lo scontrino fiscale. Sicuramente non è un posto che non consiglierei, in quanto anche i camerieri sono stati tutti gentili, ma si potrebbe fare di meglio!

22/12/2024: Sono stata in questo locale a fine estate con i miei amici. La location esterna è bellissima e accogliente. C'era anche una band molto coinvolgente. Ottimi gli antipasti e carne molto buona. Prezzi nella media. Sicuramente consiglio questo posto e ci tornerei volentieri
