23/08/2025: We stopped at this place for an aperitif, not having the menu displayed on the price list, we ordered some drinks, we asked for something to eat with the aperitif (we received some old taralli, peanuts without spoons, olives without toothpicks. All inside some coffee cups 🤔. When we get to the bill, he gives us the receipt without calling. I do not recommend it

06/07/2025: I had been advised against it, but I like to judge for myself. Paccheri with scampi left with all the intestines; the owner confirmed to me that for them it's fine like this and if the customer doesn't want it he has to remove it himself. We ordered marinated anchovies as an appetizer, they arrived 2 times and 2 other times we were asked if we had received them. Total confusion and disorganization. Only the only female waitress seems to master her job. I hope she finds a more rewarding place for her qualities, and I speak as a restaurateur.

03/07/2025: Great atmosphere with direct sea views. Delicious traditional fish dishes. Prices are perfectly reasonable compared to other restaurants. Top-notch service. We'd be happy to return.

07/07/2025: Sono stato con mia famiglia è abbiamo mangiato molto bene. Abbiamo scelto solo degli antipasti (buonissime) e poi le Lasagnette (ottime) insieme a un bicchiere di vino consigliato. 🥂👌💪

27/04/2025: Siamo stati in questo posto sabato 26, attratti dalle recensioni e della menzione Michelin. Premetto che non è il primo ristorante che ha la menzione Michelin, ma non capisco davvero le ragioni a questo punto. Il posto di per sé è carino, nulla da dire! Il problema è tutto il resto... L'offerta prevede dei menù degustazioni e la scelta di piatti "à la carte". Abbiamo preso due secondi di carne ( che a questo punto mi sembra di capire che non sia il loro punto di forza), che non avevano nulla di gustoso, nulla. Ho preso una guancia di manzo che praticamente è arrivata già tiepida e una tomahawk di vitello che era inguardabile nella cottura ed era coperta da una simil patatina che doveva avere un sapore di nocciola, ma non si percepiva nulla, accompagnato da scaglie di tartufo ( anche quello senza sapore). Non è la prima volta che andiamo in un ristorante che ha la menzione, né tantomeno la prima volta che mangiamo di a tomahawk. L'entree di benvenuto erano dei tarallini e dei grissini, neanche poi così tanto freschi. Abbiamo preso 2 calici di vino, perché anche i prezzi delle bottiglie erano assolutamente sproporzionati. Capisco che i prezzi siano leggermente lievitati giustificati da una menzione "Michelin", si è consapevoli, ma non accetto di aver scelto e evitato i posti più turistici per mangiare qualcosa che non ha nulla di eccezionale e che non giustifica assolutamente la menzione. 2 secondi di carne e 2 calici = 77 € Prima ed ultima volta!

14/07/2025: While the website may seem like you can book, if you call, you can't. They tell you to show up at the beach, but if you're from out of town and have to drive, it becomes complicated. So they tell you to ask the morning of the day you want to go (presumably telling you there won't be any problems with the umbrella and that it will be available). You text them in the morning asking if it's available, and they get back to you hours later telling you that no umbrella is available (and thanks to...).

14/07/2025: We'd been trying to call for days and even offered to pay in advance, but until the day before, he'd been telling us to contact him to book. The morning we wanted to go, we called and texted, and hours later, he responded saying he wasn't available. Terrible management, and no consideration for someone who might be visiting from out of town and can't come to the office to book.

06/06/2025: Today as a conclusion of the holiday we ate at Gli Acrchi. What a delicious food and very friendly people. We took the traditional Puglia starter, with a variety of vegetables, pizza, squid and other delicacies. As a main course a good pizza and pasta with langoustines. Really recommended for this region

02/09/2025: My husband, I, and my 11-year-old daughter just stopped for lunch at this little place overlooking the sea. We're from the north. We ate simple but delicious dishes. The service was quick, the staff were all young and friendly, and I found the place simple but very, very welcoming. Our table was in the shade, just a stone's throw from the cliff. We recommend it to anyone who loves nature, wants to enjoy the scenery, doesn't need anything fancy, and appreciates good, simple food.

03/09/2025: We went to a pizzeria in the center of Ostuni by chance and clearly don't understand the positive reviews. While the welcome is professional, the products are of poor quality; we didn't finish any of our dishes. Even the buschettas were made with flavorless tomatoes. Too bad.

11/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo locale in sei adulti e un bambino. L’ambiente è carino e il personale inizialmente cordiale, ma purtroppo l’esperienza è stata deludente, soprattutto per quanto riguarda la trasparenza dei prezzi. Abbiamo ordinato sei antipasti, indicati chiaramente nel menù a 14 euro ciascuno. Alla fine, però, ci siamo trovati a pagarli 15 euro l’uno, senza alcuna spiegazione. Sullo scontrino era indicato “menu degustazione”, che non avevamo richiesto né concordato. Inoltre, abbiamo ordinato un arrosto misto da mettere al centro del tavolo, ma ci è stato fatto pagare come se ciascuno avesse preso una porzione individuale. In realtà la quantità era tutt’altro che sufficiente per sei persone. Il risultato è stato un conto finale di 240 euro, davvero eccessivo per quello che abbiamo mangiato. Peccato, perché la qualità dei piatti non era male, ma la gestione poco chiara dei prezzi rovina l’esperienza. Un locale dovrebbe puntare sulla correttezza oltre che sulla cucina.

21/04/2025: Ristorante caratteristico che propone un'ottima cucina locale a base di carne. Ottimi gli antipasti, i fegatini e le bombette. Molto buona la carta dei vini. Servizio veloce e cordiale. Prezzi giusti.

15/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant with friends. A simple yet elegant place nestled against a cliff with a breathtaking view. The entire seafood menu was an explosion of flavors. Everything was exceptional, from the appetizers, including the raw seafood, to the tagliolini with scampi and sea urchin pulp and gnocco with clams and basil, finishing with a fabulous and tasty mixed fried fish and mixed grilled seafood. Kudos to the owners, who were incredibly kind and professional, and who looked after us from start to finish. A special mention must also be made of the dining room staff. Definitely a place to consider for future reunions and beyond.

08/08/2025: We chose a simple menu featuring house appetizers and grilled meat. The wait was interminable and completely unacceptable, with the grilled meat served more than two hours after the appetizers. We reported this, but the staff completely ignored our concerns, without even apologizing or making any attempt to remedy the situation. We were left at our table for hours, with no attention from the staff. We will never return.

03/08/2025: I went to eat tonight with my husband and son, I can assure you not to go!! I do not recommend it, we ordered spaghetti with mussels and it was all and only shells, the pasta with tomato sauce for my son was very little and my husband had the grilled meat, perhaps that was the only good thing... but everything else was pitiful... so I do not recommend it and move on... not to mention the staff took two hours to take the order!!

28/04/2025: What can I say... it was recommended to us and I would recommend it to many others. top welcome, serenity among the few staff.... we ate appetizers including spectacular chops and meatballs, and top roast meat....

27/04/2025: Place recommended by the hotel we stayed in. When we phoned a unique availability just for the simple gesture of having cooked ONLY for my son the pasta with sauce would deserve 5 stars but.... EXCELLENT starter and very filling. The meat is to be discussed, it wasn't very good in taste and I'm talking about dry pork meat and the taste was unpleasant while the veal meat was better but still nothing exceptional. Excellent dessert. The bill? Delivered on a notepad. Menu not present. High bill for what we ate. The place has excellent chances of growing only if it opens its doors a little more to new management and service

09/07/2025: siamo ritornati al Frantoio certi di trascorrere giorni meravigliosi, e così è stato! Un posto magico, ricco di storia e di dettagli in ogni angolo. Il personale sempre cortese e professionale attento alle esigenze degli ospiti e pronti ad accogliere le loro richieste. Le camere ben curate e spaziose e curate in ogni particolare. Posizione comodissima vicina a qualsiasi bella località si voglia visitare e poi, al ritorno, una comoda piscina aspetta gli ospiti che vogliono rinfrescarsi all'ombra dei meravigliosi ulivi o con un gustoso cocktail. Piante, giardino ovunque, pavoni, ulivi secolari. Insomma, un posto magico che è diventato posto del cuore

09/07/2025: Yet another highly overrated restaurant on TripAdvisor! We were four for dinner and did the wine pairing along with the tasting menu. The food overall is mediocre at best. Some dishes like the chicory (which i normally love) were tasteless and blah. No dish rose to the level of delicious. The wines were fine. You get three glasses across eight courses. A white, a rose, and a red. All serviceable but not outstanding. The service on the other hand is weird. Very disorganized. Sometimes rude. We reserved a table some weeks in advance and confirmed via email the day before. We were told dinner service starts at 8:30. We arrived at 8:30 to find the tables mostly all full with diners well into their meals. There was no host to greet us and we stood awkwardly in the courtyard waiting to be helped. When we could finally get someone’s attention, a waiter came over and searched for our name but couldn’t find it. When we paid the bill later that night we were informed the reservation was under BOTH my last name AND my wife’s (different) last name - but when trying to get seated, I provided my name and we were told that they could not find our reservation. After we finally asked whether the reservation was under my wife’s name, the waiter saw that this name was on the list, and we got a surly, “so it’s your mistake!” We also stated on several occasions that one of our family has an allergy and this was confirmed twice via email. Yet upon sitting, the server was taken by surprise by this request and needed to go talk with the kitchen. The rest of the meal was a rushed series of mediocre dishes and wine. In food and service, this restaurant does not rise to the level of excellent. The food is only mediocre and the service is disorganized and often rude.
