26/01/2025: The Room was not ready when we arrived. There was no hot water or shower available till the next day. No apologies, no compensation . Unfriendly stuff.

05/01/2025: The evening we arrived at 6:00 p.m. we were given a disabled room, it was dirty and smelled of mold. After we complained in the morning, it was cleaned, but the smell wasn't completely gone. We didn't get another room!! We had to make do with a disabled bathroom. 🤨🤨This at a full price. When we asked for a reduction, the answer was that you should inquire via email. We have written twice but have not received any response to date, after 6 months. Staff is very superficial for a 5 star hotel. The best thing about this facility was the location, which is fantastic. 🤩 But price/performance is not right at all. It's a shame, I would definitely have liked to go again.

09/11/2024: Old-fashioned furnished rooms. Beds are really in need of renewal. Otherwise a fine hotel. Beautifully situated on the beach.

15/12/2024: A dire il vero non abbiamo potuto cenare. Dopo aver prenotato giorni prima per festeggiare un compleanno di 90 anni, abbiamo trovato tutto spento e chiuso alle 20,00 di sabato 14.12. Decidiamo di telefonare e ci sentiamo rispondere che per un problema dovuto ad un temporale, erano costretti a restare chiusi. Aggiungono che con ci hanno potuto avvisare perché non avevano il nostro numero. Allora, in primis è chi riceve una richiesta di prenotazione che deve farsi lasciare un numero (non è certo il cliente che ci deve pensare...): In secundis, il buon senso suggerirebbe semplicemente di scorrere l'elenco delle telefonate di numeri sconosciuti e richiamare per sincerarsi del tutto. Infine la nostra nonnina c'è rimasta davvero male, dopo tutti i preparativi, torta compresa. Mai più!

18/03/2025: A truly magical and welcoming place. My friends and I were welcomed with kindness and sympathy in this splendid old place, furnished with great creativity by the owner, a truly special person. The excellent food is presented impeccably. Right value for money. We will return often to feel enveloped in the warmth of a unique and unforgettable place.

27/12/2024: A distanza di un anno mi sono di nuovo recato alla macelleria nella speranza di un qualche miglioramento. Posso solo confermare che la carne era e resta di qualità elevatissima. Per quanto invece riguarda il servizio, rimaniamo su livelli bassissimi visto che il tutto era servito su piatti di cartone. Prezzi ancora più elevati dello scorso anno. Ingresso locale saturo di fumi della brace, forse la cappa era rotta.... Pagamento TB ( total black ) Se non avesse la carne eccezionale sarebbe da evitare.

07/09/2024: I have been frequenting many lidos in Puglia for over 15 years and I have never been as poorly received as at the Pescatore lido. Problem with booking (at the head of the customer), unpleasant staff, dirty and inaccessible toilets, almost non-existent shower. I strongly advise against this place where customers are not respected.

The carefully decorated interior creates a pleasant atmosphere, while the well-appointed exterior terraces offer charming niches along the castle walls. The attentive and welcoming staff contributes to having a good time, whether for lunch or an aperitif.

09/01/2025: Definitely a very familiar and welcoming place; the lady who served us immediately was very kind. Food of good quality and cooked well. The only flaw was that I found the bill a bit salty. I personally ate a measly portion of rags costing €15.

06/11/2024: The best bread and focaccia in the tiny town of Casalini near Ostuni. We eat take out from there every time we're in Puglia.
