25/05/2025: The only positive note was the fairly decent pizza. We sat down as soon as we arrived but waited a good two hours for a pizza, leaving us at the last table. Service was very slow and disorganized. It was also a terrible idea to open the summer location in May when it's still cold in the evenings. Prices were a bit high, but the food quality was quite good. I wouldn't return for a number of reasons.

27/08/2025: The restaurant is located on the Bisceglie seafront and is very beautiful, with refined and excellent dishes (the octopus sandwich is delicious). The staff has always been courteous and welcoming. Recommended!

01/02/2026: Excellent cuisine... I have only praise for the attentive, fresh, simple, and well-made cuisine... a real shame, however, is that we started lunch after 2:15 PM, after arriving at 1:05 PM... first we were told that service starts at 1:30 PM and that's fine... then when 2 PM arrived without even water and bread arriving, we were told that since it's a fixed menu, we all have to start together... what the hell!!!!... this doesn't make sense!!!!!... it's not like a communion where everyone has lunch together... if I arrive for lunch with my family, I want to have lunch with my family and not wait for the room to fill up and also wait for the guy who doesn't give a damn about everyone and arrives calmly after 2 PM... it doesn't exist!!! This thing should be handled much better! Even if it's okay that service starts at 1:30 PM and if you really have to have this communion lunch policy... arrive at 1:45 PM and we'll start!!!! It's a real shame because this made me so nervous that I even considered leaving... and it would have been a real shame because the food and the staff's promptness didn't deserve it at all!!!! One last thing: more attention to the children... they were served last, at least at the beginning (then they lined up perfectly). Why would you want to serve 10 plates of ham?! (The children's appetizer was missing some dairy products; I had to give them the one from our menu for 20 euros, it seems a bit excessive.) And anyway, at the same time as the adults, that is, after 2:15 PM... no! But congratulations to the chef who calmed my nerves with excellent first courses!!! And with second helpings for every occasion!!! Well done!

03/11/2025: Terrible experience. We were bombarded with advertisements about the aperitif menu for November 2nd. We spent €30 for this aperitif. Invisible portions of each item, extremely poor quality, and an hour-long wait. Food cost €1 for a price of €15. Disappointing.

21/09/2025: The best friselleria in Piglia. We stopped by for dinner by chance to get a light snack, and it was a fantastic experience. Friselle with various flavors, like salmon, tomato, and mozzarella, turkey, and many other delicacies we'd never tried before. Incredibly excellent.

01/02/2026: A terrible experience! I found it strange to immediately find a table on a Saturday night at 9:20, and indeed there was a reason! It was my first time there, and it was a bit gloomy inside, mostly due to the dark walls and yellow lights. But upon leaving, we were directed to a room at the back, a bit remote from the rest. The waiters were barely visible and were struggling. Just keep in mind that for the condiments, I had to go into the other room to ask for them. That said, the sore point isn't the lack of waiters, but the food! The selection is very limited, mostly simple dishes, especially appetizers, nothing really elaborate, and in any case, gourmet prices. For example, an appetizer plate can range from €6 for three bruschettas to €13-15 for a bresaola appetizer passed off as carpaccio with a couple of strands of stracciatella cheese or 3-4 octopus tentacles with a chopped and sautéed boiled potato! Which already seems like an exaggeration given the lack of preparation, but all in all, it wasn't bad, so it's fine... the problem arises with the first course. We each ask for a first course—I choose seafood, my husband chooses meat, and I choose seafood. Aside from the pumpkin-focused option, which was obviously declined, I opt for a seafood tagliolini and he for the meat option! A disaster!!!!!!! The double tagliolini, cut so thin you can't even roll them up, the pitiful seafood, the mussels so overcooked they're dry and tiny, the rubbery shrimp—the kind frozen and pre-cleaned at discount stores, the kind you can't even remove the guts from—and let's leave the cuttlefish pieces alone! Of course, the red tagliolini, to top it off, is absolutely salty! In short, a dish from a nightmare kitchen! All served in a way that not even your grandmother would dump it on your plate for Sunday lunch! Truly depressing! As for the land-based one, the same thing, but instead of the seafood rubbers, strips of meat, like tagliata, always put in the sauce and topped with stracciatella! I'm not even going to tell you what I think... That said, in addition to these two dishes, we ordered meat for the children. The waiter recommended the tagliata (beef steak) for the kids because it was more tender than the entrecote, and we relied on him, asking for the courtesy of having the fries delivered with the meat, and to have the meat delivered first to them and then to us because they were hungry... Guess when the dishes arrived!? My husband's carpaccio arrived first, then the octopus with potatoes for me, and finally the meat for the kids, after a while the fries, and then our first courses! A sign of gallantry in serving my husband first, which is priceless. Obviously, it's not the waiter's fault, but the kitchen's... In short, after all this, we didn't feel like ordering anything else, so the two appetizers, the two tagliata (beef steak), a plate of fries, and those sub-types of first courses with two colas, a bottle of water, and half a liter of wine—that was good, for a modest total of €100! Since we had 2 appetizers, 2 first courses, and 2 second courses, it's as if we spent €50 each for nothing, and what's more, it was very bad and of terrible quality!!!! Shameful! Moral of the story? We won't be back, obviously!

07/10/2025: La Baguetterie del Porto overlooks the harbor, creating a pleasant atmosphere with a sea view. The menu offers a wide selection of appetizers, sandwiches, main courses, a variety of drinks, and children's options. Prices are reasonable and, considering the generous portions, more than reasonable. The fish used in the dishes is fresh, as specified on the menu. The staff is friendly and always available to help. I recommend everyone to try it.

09/03/2026: We spent an evening with friends, but I have to say the experience wasn't exciting. The place was very noisy. The mixed fried appetizers were disappointing. The pizza was adequate. When we left, we smelled of fried food.

26/09/2025: Guys, if you're passing through Bisceglie's historic center and don't stop at BAGUETTERIE, you're doing it all wrong! Amazing gourmet sandwiches, super-fresh ingredients, and amazing combos that will delight your palate. The place is super chill, perfect for a great break with friends or a casual yet delicious evening. Super friendly staff, especially Giacomo - a master of combinations - truly unique vibes in the heart of the old town. It's located on the ground floor of Palazzo Curtopassi, one of the most sumptuous and important historical sites in the city. 5⭐️, it deserves every single one! A pit stop for a quick bite is a must.

21/08/2025: A place that's almost like a market, with people shouting at you, making you feel uncomfortable, pre-cooked, low-quality food, and high prices. A tip: Continuing down the same road, there's another excellent pizzeria with very good food, top-notch professionalism from both the waiters and the owners, and more reasonable prices. I made a note about the beers that "La Campana" also sells, but with a €2 premium. A place to forget.
