06/05/2026: Small neighborhood restaurant. It's a restaurant for locals. Very clean and very good.

04/05/2026: An excellent lunch stop off the beaten path. Generous, tasty portions, and given the number of customers, the food is always fresh. A first course, a caprese salad, and a side dish with a large bottle of water cost €12.50. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was simple but tasteful.

09/04/2026: Unfortunately the food was outrageously terrible, the waitress didn't speak English. We had to send the food back.

06/04/2026: We booked for Easter Monday without knowing it personally, we just knew the food was good and I must say honestly that there were six of us and everyone was satisfied!!! Good, quality food, plentiful and to finish the meal a delicious shortcrust pastry tart with cream and strawberries 😋😋... a very positive experience, we will definitely be back 👍👍

04/05/2026: The kind and very friendly owner, despite a small misunderstanding, welcomed us like few restaurateurs these days. And what can I say about the dishes: I had gluten-free and it was wonderful! From the platter to the first course and then the dessert. Fantastic.

Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — this place is incredibly spacious, with enough seating for even a large wedding party both inside and out. The atmosphere is charming, authentic, and full of character. The staff was amazing from start to finish — warm, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. There are plenty of options on the menu to suit just about anyone’s taste, and the fresh, handmade pasta dishes were outstanding. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. We ended up spending about two hours here while waiting out the rain, and never once felt rushed. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great meal, and soak in the experience. Highly recommend La Locanda del Gallo for a sit-down lunch, dinner, or even just a cold drink. Here’s a slightly more enthusiastic version too, in case you want it to sound even stronger: La Locanda del Gallo was an absolute gem. Don’t let the alleyway and side entrance fool you — once inside, you’ll find a beautiful, spacious restaurant with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The entire place has an incredibly charming and authentic feel. The staff was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. We spent nearly two hours here waiting out the rain and felt completely comfortable the entire time. We were able to relax, enjoy our food and drinks, and never felt rushed for even a second. Whether you’re looking for a full lunch or dinner or just a cold drink in a welcoming atmosphere, this place is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommended.

15/10/2025: The waiter brought us a coffee with normal milk when we specified soya. We are both extremely lactose intolerant. When we asked for a new coffee and sent it back they refused to remove it from the bill and said it wasn’t their fault. Terrible service.

14/10/2025: No toilet seat or toilet paper in the ladies or gents toilets. No toilet seat unfortunately seems standard in most of restaurants in Puglia
