01/09/2025: A multisensory journey... to hell! As soon as you walk in the door, you're greeted by an intoxicating aroma that sways between a damp stable and an oil change in an '80s garage. It'll make you long for a sense of smell. The rotisserie? A living homage to food poisoning. The kebab, likely frozen since 2010, has seen more glaciations than planet Earth. The crêpes, on the other hand, are a tactile experience even before they're a taste experience: the dough is so rubbery you could bounce a tennis ball off it, while the Nutella inside... well, let's call it a "cocoa fossil." Hard, cold, with the arrogance of someone who long ago outgrew the concept of expiration. But the real magic happens at the checkout: identical crêpes, same size, same filling (so to speak), yet one costs €2.50 and the other €4. It's the "feeling" price list, a revolutionary concept of fluid economics. Recommended only for those who want to test their guts, stomach, and patience. Or for those writing a horror novel about restaurants.

19/05/2025: Excellent pizzas with a variety of flavors and doughs, and the various rotisserie products are also delicious! Takeout pizzeria, but you can also eat in. The owner and her daughter are friendly and courteous. The restaurant has a small dining room in the back, which could use a bit more management! Overall rating: more than positive!

07/11/2025: Avoid at all costs! It took 1 hour and 10 minutes to be served, only to end up with undercooked and stale pizzas. Several people vomited.

12/07/2025: Nice place, friendly service, and good food. It's a very spacious place with a large terrace overlooking the sea. The service is average, and the staff is kind and courteous. The dishes are simple and good. The price is fair.

15/12/2025: Okay... there were two of us, my mom and me. This place was recommended to us by someone in Bari. We were alone in the restaurant. We ordered pasta with turnip tops, typical here. Then came pasta with spinach, which really didn't have the same taste. It came with a side of grilled zucchini, which was cold. I ordered octopus, but it was way overcooked. The freezer fries were probably the best. In short, it was disgusting, and it was expensive for nothing. I don't recommend it. You should run away from this place.

30/11/2025: Avoid... We went for a family lunch (four of us) and we regretted it. Be careful, ask them to explain even the most obvious thing: we ordered two appetizer combos (€25 each) (which, according to the person serving us, included both seafood and meat). The fact is, what arrived didn't match what we'd been told, and, moreover, the final bill stated "appetizer €100," which was absolutely not worth it. The atmosphere wasn't bad either, except that at times it felt like we were in a nightclub with the music blasting. I could barely hear my dad sitting next to me; it was truly annoying. Finally, you might clean the tables properly (which I hope), but cutlery and glasses upside down on the wooden tabletop, no way... In their defense, we found the food itself tasty, but, outside of the food itself, it was a truly awful experience.

10/09/2025: A wonderful place, and the staff made the evening unforgettable! We were a group of over 15 people; the view, the drinks, and the attention did the rest :) All the girls have wonderful memories of Taranto, thanks in part to the Palio. Thanks again!

31/08/2025: We went for an after-dinner drink in one of Taranto's best locations. The view, next to the Aragonese Castle, is truly breathtaking. The staff welcomed us professionally and escorted us to our table. We ordered two amari and enjoyed the moonlight reflected on the sea.

09/12/2025: Terrible service... if you walk away they don't leave you the plates. We were at a birthday party yesterday, packed like sardines. The food was poor, but the prize was the fruit on a huge plate. 1 mandarin segment and tiny pieces of something undefined... I cried.

19/10/2025: Seven of us came for pizza on a Saturday night. The place was very busy; we came during the 10:00 PM shift and were seated after 20 minutes. Our pizzas were served another 20 minutes later (though the waitress had warned us we'd have a wait). The pizzas were quite good, with a contemporary style. Recommended if you don't want to waste too much time in the parking lot.

11/05/2025: Dopo una gara sportiva, ci siamo ritrovati in questo ristorante a cena con tutta la squadra. Locale direi molto accogliente e pulito. Proprietari simpatici e molto attenti, così come gli altri camerieri. Menù non molto lungo ma cmq sufficiente. Servizio rapido e precisissimo. Carne molto buona e cotta benissimo. Vino consigliato molto buono. Rapporto qualità prezzo credo buono. Io probabilmente ci ritornerei.

01/10/2025: Overall, a positive experience. The outdoor seating in the back is pleasant even in spring and autumn. One tip I can give is about the pizzas. Some of the edges were burnt and particularly tough. The fried foods and appetizers, however, were fine.

27/10/2025: We stopped at this restaurant both for its location overlooking a beautiful central square and for its lower prices compared to other restaurants. We had a dish of fava beans and chicory, seafood risotto, and mixed grilled fish. The aforementioned dishes turned out to be truly delicious. The waiter was friendly, as was the owner, with whom we chatted for a moment after the meal. The bill wasn't excessive, although €6 for a glass of white wine isn't in line with the price of the dishes. We were nevertheless satisfied with the lunch.

09/07/2025: Yet another highly overrated restaurant on TripAdvisor! We were four for dinner and did the wine pairing along with the tasting menu. The food overall is mediocre at best. Some dishes like the chicory (which i normally love) were tasteless and blah. No dish rose to the level of delicious. The wines were fine. You get three glasses across eight courses. A white, a rose, and a red. All serviceable but not outstanding. The service on the other hand is weird. Very disorganized. Sometimes rude. We reserved a table some weeks in advance and confirmed via email the day before. We were told dinner service starts at 8:30. We arrived at 8:30 to find the tables mostly all full with diners well into their meals. There was no host to greet us and we stood awkwardly in the courtyard waiting to be helped. When we could finally get someone’s attention, a waiter came over and searched for our name but couldn’t find it. When we paid the bill later that night we were informed the reservation was under BOTH my last name AND my wife’s (different) last name - but when trying to get seated, I provided my name and we were told that they could not find our reservation. After we finally asked whether the reservation was under my wife’s name, the waiter saw that this name was on the list, and we got a surly, “so it’s your mistake!” We also stated on several occasions that one of our family has an allergy and this was confirmed twice via email. Yet upon sitting, the server was taken by surprise by this request and needed to go talk with the kitchen. The rest of the meal was a rushed series of mediocre dishes and wine. In food and service, this restaurant does not rise to the level of excellent. The food is only mediocre and the service is disorganized and often rude.

09/07/2025: siamo ritornati al Frantoio certi di trascorrere giorni meravigliosi, e così è stato! Un posto magico, ricco di storia e di dettagli in ogni angolo. Il personale sempre cortese e professionale attento alle esigenze degli ospiti e pronti ad accogliere le loro richieste. Le camere ben curate e spaziose e curate in ogni particolare. Posizione comodissima vicina a qualsiasi bella località si voglia visitare e poi, al ritorno, una comoda piscina aspetta gli ospiti che vogliono rinfrescarsi all'ombra dei meravigliosi ulivi o con un gustoso cocktail. Piante, giardino ovunque, pavoni, ulivi secolari. Insomma, un posto magico che è diventato posto del cuore
