22/05/2025: Average quality food. Terrible service, long waits for cutlery, bread to taste sea urchins asked for but never received. I ask for an orange juice during the main courses and it doesn't arrive... I ask for it and they tell me that I can't get the drinks out anymore because we're at our wits' end... well we're at our wits' end! The place is sufficiently well-kept: bathrooms without maintenance and tablecloths with holes.

06/06/2025: It’s not just the food, it’s the people which make a difference. After an amazing dinner, we ended up needing to go back to try to find milk for the kids bedtime late at night… Of course there’s no markets open go back to this restaurant. The owner gives us a whole carton of fresh milk for kids doesn’t charge us. It’s these things which makes such a big difference. So while there are so many good restaurants in this town, I wanted to take a time to make a review for this one because they really went to Above & Beyond.

09/05/2025: We ordered a salad and a fish trio dish. Everything was disgusting. The salad probably came from a purchased bag, no seasoning, 2 hours to bring it! The fish had no seasoning, the cuttlefish was bland, the shrimp was disgusting and the swordfish had no taste. Wrong. Uits in addition.... We do not recommend this place!

19/01/2025: The food was really great, nothing to say. Too bad about the bill though, we should be more careful! They made us pay for the first courses at a higher price than the price that was written on the menu, and unfortunately I only noticed this once I left the restaurant. And there was a big difference I'm sorry but this loses a lot of respect. We had booked with the fork app with a 20% discount. If this increase was only to prevent us from getting the discount in the end it is even more disappointing, and I hope it wasn't for this reason. If you don't want to do promotions, don't use the platforms just for that matter. Among other things, there was no first course on the menu at a cost of €16, so I can't explain where they got this price from. You can't say even one mistake in clicking the plate... Honestly very saddened.

10/12/2024: abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante sul lungomare grazie alla pubblicità sui social. la caratteristica principale è che è praticamente sulla spiaggia. La cucina è buona, senza troppi fronzoli gourmet. Mia figlia che non mangia il pesce ha preso la pizza, buona. Consigliato!

12/11/2024: Abbiamo pranzato e cenato diverse volte in questo posto perché abbiamo soggiornato a pochi passi dal ristorante. Il ristorante si trova proprio sulla spiaggia, quindi location fantastica e meravigliosa, ambiente molto bello ed elegante. Abbiamo mangiato la pizza due volte ed era buonissima, poi abbiamo mangiato diverse pietanze di pesce per 4 sere di fila. Tutto buonissimo e porzioni giuste, l’unica cosa che non mi è piaciuta molto è stata la frittura di pesce, l’ho trovata poco impanata e di conseguenza poco croccante, ma comunque buona e mangiabilissima. Personale cordiale e attento, prezzi nella norma. L’ultima sera abbiamo prenotato il tavolo proprio in spiaggia e abbiamo mangiato a lume di candela, davvero suggestivo! Complimenti e arrivederci al prossimo anno

From day one, I was enveloped in a relaxing atmosphere, made of regenerating silences, sea breeze and slow rhythms that really help you disconnect from the daily frenzy. Each day began with the sweet sound of the waves and ended with the warm colors of the sunset caressing the water: a spectacle that never tires, capable of exciting every time as if it were the first. The food was a real discovery: dishes rich in authentic flavors, with local recipes that celebrate the gastronomic tradition of Gargano. From fresh fish cooked with simplicity and mastery, to vegetables from the garden, to artisanal desserts with an irresistible aroma, every meal was a new sensory experience. The variety of the menu and the attention to the quality of the raw materials really impressed me. Another strong point of the hotel is definitely the staff: courteous, attentive and always smiling. Whether it was a tip for an excursion, a special request at the table or a simple good morning, the helpfulness and humanity of the team made the stay even more pleasant. I recommend Hotel Marechiaro to anyone looking for a regenerating holiday, between nature, good food and sincere hospitality. But there is more. One evening, while I was walking on the beach at sunset, I found a shell with an unusual shape, smooth as if it were made of living mother-of-pearl. For fun I brought it close to my ear... and to my surprise, I heard a voice, which told forgotten legends of the Gargano: stories of sirens hidden among the rocks, of enchanted woods that move with the wind, and of an abandoned lighthouse that, on moonless nights, lights up again to guide those seeking something more than simple beauty. Maybe it was just imagination, or maybe it really is like this: staying at Hotel Marechiaro does not only mean relaxing, but opening up to a deeper experience, made of emotions, flavors and... a pinch of magic.

30/06/2025: We spent a truly enjoyable holiday at the Hotel Marechiaro in San Menaio, in the heart of Gargano. The location is exceptional: a few meters from a beautiful beach, with a clear and relaxing sea, perfect for adults and children. From the moment we booked we felt looked after with attention and kindness thanks to Mr. Antonio, who managed everything in a precise and friendly way. A truly impeccable welcome! One of the strong points of our experience was certainly the catering. Tasty dishes, well-prepared and generous portions, served with great professionalism and friendliness. A heartfelt thanks to Giuseppe, the room manager, always available and smiling, and to the very good Gianfranco and Mirco, who with their friendliness made every meal a pleasant and fun moment. Praise also goes to the staff in charge of cleaning the rooms, who stood out for their care and attention to detail: rooms always tidy, clean and welcoming, which really makes the difference on a holiday. In short, at Hotel Marechiaro we found a wonderful sea, comfort, excellent food and sincere people who work with passion. We will definitely return... and maybe even more than once!

06/05/2025: I am writing in response to Mrs. Barbara's review and I inform you that everything she has made public is absolutely not true because the rooms were delivered clean and tidy in every way, only that chatter and gossip are often invented to achieve objectives such as discounts and so on. So respect those who have always worked seriously and for over 25 years
