27/10/2025: The beautiful shaded terrace is very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the overall quality of the food was just average, far from our initial expectations. We were truly disappointed by the culinary level of this establishment. It's a shame.

30/11/2025: A unique experience in a rural setting surrounded by greenery. The facility is well-designed and organized, featuring two large heated rooms and spacious restrooms equipped with all necessary amenities. The welcome was extremely warm; the staff was courteous, smiling, and helpful. The kitchen offers authentic dishes with a variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses, much appreciated for their deliciousness and simplicity. Overall, the quality-price ratio is excellent. I highly recommend this experience.

16/11/2025: The effort isn't worth it! Today, we were the four of us at lunch and paid €45 for a fixed menu (wine was on the menu, not local), and honestly, we didn't try what the others show with their photos in their reviews. There were no cured meats, no cheeses or dairy products, and no grilled meat!!! You'll say: what did you eat...? Basically, vegetables and carbs and a couple of thin slices of baked pork loin with a few timid fries. The price was a bit steep... Maybe it wasn't the right Sunday...

05/12/2025: We had dinner here tonight. You can tell it's a traditional, family-run trattoria, a place frequented by locals. The quality was excellent and very affordable; everything was delicious. The pizzas were delicious, baked in a wood-fired oven, and the breaded meat was very tasty.

02/12/2025: I have nothing but love for this place! I don't know where to begin, because to say that "La Perla" is just a pizzeria is an understatement. It's an experience, and honestly, it's my favorite place in Lecce. If you're tired of the same old chewy or heavy pizzas, you absolutely must come here. The real magic is in the hands of Francesco, the pizza chef/owner. He's an artist! So much so, he's been in the newspapers. His pizzas, besides being incredibly good, are disarmingly light, thin like life's pleasures, and so easy to digest that I couldn't believe it the first time. I swear, I'm one of those people who sometimes feels weighed down by half a pizza, but here I can eat two whole ones without the slightest problem! You leave the table satisfied but not bloated. It's a deliciousness that goes beyond taste; it's a sensation of well-being. And speaking of Francesco: discovering his story left me speechless. This man has cooked and made pizzas for people of the caliber of Pavarotti, one of many! These aren't empty words; we're talking about someone with truly "golden hands" and unparalleled experience. It's not presumption, it's the reality: they are the best in this field. Besides the amazing food, the thing that keeps me coming back is the atmosphere. Kindness is a hallmark. Everyone is so genuine and approachable, they immediately make you feel part of the family. In an era where many restaurants are cold and impersonal, here you'll find a warmth and professionalism that deserves all the praise in the world. In short: If you're looking for a truly thin, light pizza, with the freshest ingredients, made by a master and served by exquisite people, "La Perla" is the only answer. Five well-deserved stars. Go there!

03/09/2025: A nice atmosphere in itself, but some of the service was very inattentive and unfriendly. The Coke we ordered right at the start only arrived after we had already finished our food, even though we had already had the other drinks. We didn't even get the cheesecake we ordered. The highlight of the whole thing was the unfriendly cashier who judged us with her stares. It's a real shame, I wouldn't go back!

02/09/2025: I drove around Taranto trying to find it, and when I arrived, they told me they only have pistachio crepes for gluten-free, even though they advertise several other options on their website. A complete disappointment.

15/12/2025: A good restaurant for meat or pizza. Casual setting. Good quality food. Thin and crispy pizza, not Neapolitan-style.

21/09/2025: This was our first time at this place. Nice but small. We made a reservation. We waited 40 minutes to order and over an hour from ordering to get our food. Terrible service, which needs to be addressed with the long waits, given the very small space. Lack of basic hygiene standards in an environment where food is served. There was a cat at the entrance.

09/05/2025: An excellent Apulian panzerotto, with all sorts of fillings. The one with brasciola (meat roll with ragù) is tops.

04/03/2025: A lovely spot in the center of Grumo Appula, a bar overlooking a charming little square. The surprise is that in the evening they serve panzerotti filled with meat, turnips, various cured meats, and of course the classic tomato and mozzarella ones. The service is impeccable and fast, but most importantly, they bring them out of the kitchen one at a time, allowing customers to eat them piping hot. Prices are reasonable, so they offer excellent value. We'll definitely be returning again and again.

08/11/2025: A very nice place in the heart of Siponto. In the winter, it's a quiet spot for a peaceful coffee just steps from the sea. The aperitifs are excellent, and we weren't disappointed at lunch either. In the summer, it's at the heart of Siponto's nightlife. Recommended.

10/09/2025: A nice place, not exactly the most well-kept and clean, it was primarily designed as an aperitif spot. We stopped for lunch because it was one of the few places open. Since it was originally a bar/aperitif spot, it doesn't offer a very extensive menu, but you can still choose from 4-5 dishes per course. The staff is very attentive, kind, and helpful. There are three steps at the entrance, making it difficult to access with a stroller or wheelchair (but the staff were very kind and helped us carry our stroller into the restaurant). For two appetizers and a first course, we spent just over thirty euros. The option of having water in a jug was greatly appreciated. Vegetarian options are also available. We'll be back.

11/11/2025: We went on a Thursday for a typical dinner with colleagues. The place is very accessible, with easy parking in the little square just ahead. The atmosphere is informal, suitable for both groups and families. The owner, always smiling, treated us with kid gloves, making sure we were satisfied with everything. The service staff were extremely kind and always available, but above all, incredibly fast. We ate everything, including two seafood starters; I opted for the mushroom tortelli. The appetizers were endless, both seafood and meat, and pizzas with various toppings were served in the center of the table. Endless beers and wine. €40 per person. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

06/10/2025: This is my second time back at this pizzeria/restaurant. Starting with the welcome, I can say that the staff and owners were very helpful and polite. The staff are not only available but also help you choose the menu or pizza based on your tastes without being intrusive. The two dining rooms can accommodate several potential groups, but it's also excellent for a simple, elegant dinner for a couple or family. I went with my husband and children, and we even had the chance to watch the Juventus/Milan match. My son and I opted for a set menu, while my husband and daughter opted for the first course. Both choices left us speechless because the quality was truly exceptional. I'm sure there will be other evenings spent in this simple, welcoming, and quiet location, just the way I like it. Guys, what can I say? See you soon! And to you who read this, I can only say: try it and believe it, and I'm sure you won't regret it.

11/09/2025: A quick visit. I stayed at this property for a few days and I must say I was thrilled. I was impressed when I booked by the pool and soccer field (which can also be used for tennis). I brought my children with me, and everything met our expectations. I appreciated the flexible check-in and check-out times and the owners' helpfulness. Would I return? Absolutely!
