31/10/2025: I give Mavi's a full five stars, a place I truly consider a guarantee. It's a restaurant, pizzeria, and, in a way, a bar, located right at the entrance to Gallipoli, conveniently located and easy to reach. The main reason it deserves all its stars is undoubtedly the service. I especially want to thank Vittorio, with whom I speak often: he's always friendly, attentive, and ready to welcome guests in the best possible way. You can tell he cares, because he pays attention to every need and makes them feel truly at ease. Thanks also to Claudio, the owner, a friendly, honest, and always available person. We see each other almost once a week, and every time he manages to make the experience pleasant and familiar. The food is truly excellent, from the burgers, which are my favorite, to the meats, always good quality and well-cooked. I often order the farmer's burger, but with one small change: instead of zucchini, I ask for caramelized onions along with eggplant cream. The burger is 200 grams, very tasty, with a soft, delicious bun. I usually accompany it with onion rings and fries, a perfect pairing. The restaurant occasionally hosts small parties or themed evenings, designed to accommodate more people and create a livelier yet still relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The atmosphere is pleasant, without crowds, but with just the right energy for a different kind of evening. Finally, I must say that the quality-price ratio is truly fair, especially considering we're in Gallipoli, where prices are often higher. Here, however, you eat well, you spend the right amount, and you're treated with courtesy. In conclusion, I highly recommend Mavis: a welcoming place, with excellent food, impeccable service, and passionate staff. I go there almost once a week... and I recommend you do the same!

07/11/2025: Honestly, I expected more. The food is good but not wow-worthy. The staff is smug. Not suitable for groups or people who speak loudly. Suitable for couples.

02/11/2025: We had lunch here, choosing the tasting menu. The food was truly good, especially the raw fish and the tagliolini with lemon, stracciatella, and shrimp tartare. As for the service, it didn't live up to the cuisine. One unpleasant incident: the waiter who served us the wine completely ignored the idea that a woman might understand anything about wine, showing the label and allowing only the man to taste the wine (a bit too sexist in 2025).

29/08/2025: It's a bar, but in the evening it turns into a sandwich shop. The sandwiches are good. We're in Crispiano, so I recommend the meat ones. The missing star is for the burger; it was perhaps overcooked and dry, and the service was a bit slow to take the order, but the sandwiches arrived promptly. The price is a bit high, but it's worth a try.

22/09/2025: We found this place almost by chance, and being paella lovers, we went for lunch, making a reservation for two, with the idea of ​​becoming regulars and returning from time to time. We knew the paella would take 30 minutes, as indicated on the menu, so I'll let you recommend a couple of appetizers: salmon carpaccio and shrimp encilado, both excellent. To be honest, I found the wait quite long, but the place, although not full, was still lively and busy. The unpleasant part, unfortunately, came later: we didn't get the paella because after about an hour and a half of waiting, after seeing it also being served at the next table with the excuse "the paella was ordered by phone," I asked for the bill and left. So those who order paella by phone have priority over others who arrived first? I wonder, for example, how a new customer can be served on time if there are 5 or 6 tables of regulars with pre-ordered paella. Does that seem to be acceptable? As a new customer, even if I wanted to (and I didn't know this unwritten rule, otherwise I never would have sat down), I could never have afforded to pre-order it because, not knowing me, there would have been no trust in me... Service needs reviewing, waiting times need reviewing. How can you expect a customer, new or old, to tolerate such behavior?

22/05/2025: If you want to spend a wonderful Friday night at Vinarius in Monopoli I can only recommend it! Our dinner show was a positive experience, characterized by a lively atmosphere and an excellent selection of dishes, all delicious. The entertainment offered by the singer made the evening even more special, bringing a touch of magic and fun that involved us all. It was a nice way to enjoy dinner, entertained by engaging music. The prices are average and reflect the quality of the service and food, while the location is really nice and well-kept, creating a perfect environment for an evening with friends or as a couple.

03/09/2025: The food was very good, except for the panini. Although the toppings were tasty, the bun was incredibly hard. However, everything else was delicious, and if we were craving seafood, we would definitely go back.

31/07/2025: NON CI VENITE, eravamo in 2, Erano le 21 eravamo appena arrivati, abbiamo aspettato per sederci, una volta seduti abbiamo aspettato più di 30 minuti prima di ordinare perché erano solo due a servire ed era pieno di persone , poi sono arrivati e avevamo visto dal tavolo affianco un piatto grande di frittura, abbiamo ordinato quella gran misto di 20 euro pensando che era quella, e ci arriva un piattino misero con un tre tipi di paranza, un pezzo a specie, e un po’ di calamari e gamberi, poi abbiamo preso due calici di vino che sembravano mischiati con l’acqua e una pepata di cozze di 8 euro e per dire che ci siamo mangiati 5/6 cozze piccoline tra cui una vuota a testa ed eravamo in due in più era super salata, dal paninaro una porzione base che era una vaschetta grande dove il pesce usciva di fuori, veniva 9 euro, siete vergognosi non verremo mai più e diremo a gli altri di non venire

06/09/2025: Fabulous place. First of all, it has very convenient parking, which is always a plus 😜 for those coming from Gallipoli or by car. But it's also very convenient to walk here if you're on vacation like my wife and I and happen to be sleeping nearby. Comfortable seating, beautiful lighting. Varied menu. The staff was friendly and helpful, and, realizing we were somewhere else entirely, they stopped to chat with us. An absolutely delightful lunch!! Stop by if you're passing by.

12/10/2025: We had a wonderful time here. The dough is homemade, and you can really taste the difference — both pizzas were absolutely delicious. The Vegetarian and the Buffalo pizzas were full of flavor, perfectly baked, and beautifully fresh. The Aperols were big, refreshing, and very well made. The only small thing that could make it even better would be to serve the Aperols in proper Aperol glasses instead of basic water glasses — but that’s just a minor detail. Overall, everything was excellent, and I’d definitely come back!

05/08/2025: Exceptional bakery in Cisternino, with oil, akua, semolina, in short all types of bread that in the trullo last between 5 and 7 days (in Milan bread now costs a fortune and it disappears WHILE YOU GO TO HOUSE!!!). KAIMANO!!
