Wonderful food with impeccable flavors and...very elegant and original setting. The owner is very patient and helpful and takes care of everything down to the smallest details, leaving nothing to chance. Highly recommended if you want to impress everyone in a refined and elegant setting.

09/10/2025: A wonderful idea – choose your steak/meat at the butcher's shop and have it served to you perfectly cooked on the charcoal grill, topped with a pinch of coarse sea salt. We recommend ordering the warm side dishes like potatoes and grilled vegetables separately and only after the meat has been placed on the grill.

07/10/2025: Remembering a past experience at another butcher/grill shop, I expected much more! The meat wasn't excellent, the house wine was awful. The only redeeming feature was the grilling.

23/09/2025: Informal restaurant, friendly staff, excellent dishes from appetizers to desserts, fair prices. The only negative note was the house wine offered that was not appreciated, which was pointed out immediately if bottled wine was provided. Definitely worth returning.

10/09/2025: The food was excellent, both in quality and preparation. The restaurant was beautiful, with a pleasant terrace and a large, convenient parking lot. The service was slow, and that's understandable. Unfortunately, we (a group of eight) were the victims of a mistake because, as we were candidly informed after a two-hour wait after eating our appetizer, our order had been lost. When we complained about the long delay, we were told, in an almost intimidating and arrogant manner, that it was Saturday night and it was fine if we waited. Then the cherry on top. The same person (acting like the owner, probably the owner) repeatedly yelled at us as we were walking to the parking lot, saying, "But you never make mistakes in your job." A terrible experience. What a shame.

22/11/2025: I tried Il Polpettificio in Bari for a quick lunch: it was a perfect choice. I had the meatballs carbonara, which were delicious: soft and flavorful cream, crispy bacon, and a perfect portion for a quick but satisfying meal. The atmosphere is quiet and refined, perfect for a break without the hustle and bustle. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick with their service, something I always appreciate. Recommended for those who want to eat well, without wasting time, with dishes that have their own identity and are never banal.

26/08/2025: Initially, they told us we needed to reserve, but then they kindly gave us a table on the outdoor terrace. We had a lovely evening at dinner, and I can definitely say the dishes were excellent. My wife and I had spaghetti with squid ink and shrimp tartare with orange slices...a delicacy...then a tuna steak with arugula and cherry tomatoes, a real treat, all accompanied by an excellent white wine and a dessert to finish. The price is a little higher than average, but considering it's a tourist destination, that's understandable...a couple will spend between €50-60. The location is very central in the historic center, and the staff is very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it 😉 🤙🏼

22/10/2025: It's a shame I have to give only 3 stars to a restaurant in my town, but you have to consider that a review must necessarily take into account not only the banal and boring quality/price ratio, but also the quantity/price ratio. The quality is unquestionable, but be careful: you can find the same quality and freshness in many other restaurants, both local and otherwise, where for the same price you can eat at least double the price. Getting the quality wrong would be a real novice's mistake, but it's very easy to fall short on quantity. In short, the products are certainly fresh, well-prepared, and excellent, but many restaurateurs are capable of doing the same, but the price is truly exorbitant and unjustified.

01/12/2025: Excellent bar, where I recommend making a reservation. We actually had to sit outside. There's a shaded area both above and below the table. However, I'd recommend a patio heater for this cold period. Service is quick and friendly. The interior is also well-maintained. Reasonable prices for a well-composed aperitivo. Drinks are available separately. Plenty of parking available. Recommended.

12/10/2025: The hotel and the rooms are clean. They are cleaned every day. The location is very good, but unfortunately, almost everything is closed during the off-season. The breakfast isn't great; it's the same every day, and there's little choice. What was definitely annoying was the noise from the daily changing tour groups arriving by bus. There was a constant coming and going. Unfortunately, the pool was also closed.

06/09/2025: The hotel met our expectations... perhaps larger wardrobes in the rooms... for us, since there were 4 of us... a two-door wardrobe was really small... The pool was good... The sea was most beautiful in the morning and rough in the afternoon... Beautiful but not the sea of ​​Salento.... In the week of July when we were there, there were few jellyfish... The restaurant and cuisine were superb... We ate in abundance... Fresh fish every day and a very varied menu... The desserts were good... A large buffet every day... Friendly staff, from the waiters... to Mrs. Grazia... to the cleaning ladies... Insufficient parking for hotel guests... You need to book in advance...
