17/01/2026: Worst pizza I've ever had in Italy in the over 20 years I've been here. Disrespectful. They didn't put what they asked for on the pizza, but they took the money. I called them to tell them they made a mistake and that something was missing, and they said they'll bring it to me next time. And who still buys?
07/12/2025: One of the best pizzerias you'll ever try! Super friendly and they made room for us without a reservation. The price is fantastic and they spoke Spanish! A 10 out of 10! You absolutely can't miss their pizzas!

11/10/2025: We were very well received by the owners and the friendly and helpful smiling staff, the owner speaks very good French, which is very practical for communication. The restaurant is very original with animals and the dishes are excellent, breakfast is very complete. The only downside is that it is a little noisier with the company workers who stay at the hotel during the week. It will remain a good memory all the same.

21/03/2026: Locale ottimo, molto soddisfacente anche il cibo compreso il servizio molto veloce e gradevole. Anche l'ambiente non lascia nessun particolare. I proprietari sono veramente squisiti.

01/03/2026: Me and my friend were there every night (7 nights) and played cards for hours, partied w the bartender and everything in between. The workers and the owner were really kind and genuine, the prices were exceptional, and the atmosphere was great (what kind of atmosphere it is depends on the time of the week). Would highly recommend! Prob the best bar in Alagna.
22/02/2026: An hour's wait (with the place half empty) for two miacce so small they looked like those appetizers they sometimes give you for free before the main course you've ordered, with the single slice of prosciutto heated until it was cooked through and the toma cheese I didn't even taste. Of course, we stopped there and went for a pizza.

02/07/2025: Siamo passati da Vercelli per vedere un cliente proprio vicino alla trattoria.
Abbiamo chiesto se potessimo avere il menù fisso e la risposta è stata: “è riservato a chi ha la partita iva e de operaio, ma io ho precisato se siamo dei lavoratori commercianti?” Risposta: “penso di sì devo chiedere….”
Abbiamo preso un primo e un secondo con un contorno, ovviamente alla cassa non siamo risultati operai ma lavoratori di un’altra categoria, abbiamo pagato a parte anche il contorno, e richiesta la fattura. Per avere il menù fisso non basta essere lavoratori con partita iva ma bisogna avere un abbigliamento da muratore così da avere accesso a un menù fisso. O forse meglio che cambiano lavoro in questa trattoria!

10/07/2025: The name is spot on: it's a refuge. You can reach it on foot, and you're immersed in silence and tranquility. The food is excellent, the prices are very fair, and the owners are warm and friendly. It's worth spending a day there in complete relaxation.
