17/07/2026: Couples' dinner on the terrace; overall, we were very pleased with the cuisine and, of course, the location. The variety offered with the surprise menu was excellent, and the addition of a four-wine tasting was equally valuable (with numerous unsolicited but much appreciated refills). Kudos also to the staff and chef for their attentiveness to the guests' needs. Highly recommended.

04/07/2026: My husband and I spent a delightful evening enjoying the excellent cuisine of Chef Alfredo Russo. Care and attention to detail are the key words to describe the work that goes into creating a dish and the service provided by his staff!! Congratulations!!! We will definitely be back!!

25/07/2026: Excellent piadina, just the right size and handmade in an open kitchen. A huge selection with a wide variety of ingredients. Excellent vegan options, given the wide selection. Furthermore, the owner and waiters are super friendly and helpful. Add to that the price is reasonable considering the quality and location. Highly recommended after a visit to the Reggia di Venaria.

02/05/2026: A fried poached egg, served on a bed of green peas and with a corn salad: the egg was delicious, crispy on the outside, and the yolk was runny. Unfortunately, the rosemary described in the menu wasn't noticeable. The vitello tonnato – well-cooked veal. A tasty tuna sauce. The Fasana beef entrecote – medium rare. Delicious. Served with baked potatoes, which were also excellent. The breaded, fried guinea fowl breast was served on a bed of caramelized onions with fresh sweet and sour cabbage. The breast was dry, failing to bring out the guinea fowl flavor. The cabbage lacked creaminess. The thyme described in the menu was imperceptible. Overall, the food was good, but I expected something more, especially since it's not a budget restaurant and has a Michelin designation. Fast, efficient service. Well-chosen wine.

21/07/2026: We discovered this place by chance when we were asking where we were going for pizza tonight. It's located just steps from the center of Venaria, with plenty of parking. The place has a spacious outdoor terrace and small but well-designed indoor dining rooms. Reading the menu, you're drawn to the wide selection of long-leavened doughs and excellent ingredients. Some fried entrees, farinata, and Montanarine are worth trying next time, as is the pizza chef's tasting menu. This time, we opted for a Nuvola with Venere rice and soft wheat, a round pizza with a thick, soft dough; and the Carmagnola topped with fresh Piedmontese tomino cheese, caramelized peppers, Cantabrian anchovies, and bagnetto verde (green sauce), well-seasoned and truly soft. A rectangular Roman-style pizza, with a thick, soft dough made with stone-ground semi-whole wheat flour and a crispy exterior, is served with San Marzano DOP tomatoes, Campanian buffalo mozzarella DOP, confit cherry tomatoes, and a basil and oregano emulsion. A classic pizza made with stone-ground semi-whole wheat flour is served with the Salsiccia, with San Marzano DOP tomatoes, Gioia del Colle DOP fior di latte mozzarella, and sausage. Craft beers on tap from Pian della Mussa and Baladin, plus a few bottles. Our dessert was the Pannacocco, a coconut panna cotta topped with strawberry coulis and ruby ​​chocolate, on a bed of cocoa crumble. The service was prompt and the waiters were friendly and helpful. We'll definitely try it again, choosing from a different selection of doughs and toppings from the menu.

12/07/2026: The place is very beautiful and rustic. The staff isn't particularly knowledgeable and doesn't seem to know how to answer even the most basic questions. The food seems authentic, but the cooking skills are lacking. The appetizers are bland and tasteless. The rabbit is served in a watery broth—I've never seen anything like it, especially considering the price. I've eaten at smaller bowling clubs in the area where the food was better, for a third of the price. The staff, however, is very friendly, and there's a family atmosphere. The place feels like a trattoria from the past.

11/07/2026: We stopped by on a Saturday for lunch because we were in the area and the reviews piqued our interest. Google said it opened at 11:00, so we arrived around 11:45 to avoid being too early. Unfortunately, we were told the restaurant opened at 12:30, so the online hours were incorrect. Being in a hurry, we were forced to leave without trying the food, even though the aroma was truly inviting. It's a shame, but it would be important to update the hours on Google.

02/08/2026: If you like to eat I don't recommend it, the dishes are miserable and it's expensive €14 for a tomato bruschetta €16 for a plate of tagliatelle and €10 for a water and the cover charge €40. We left hungry and went to eat a pizza if we took the wine it would have come to €90, they take advantage of it because it's a tourist place otherwise no one would go, after all this they don't even give you a receipt.

18/05/2026: Located outside the historic center of Venaria Reale, this small pizzeria turned out to be a pleasant discovery. The pizza is excellent, with many variations available and characterized by a light, easily digestible dough. The staff is young and friendly. The quality-price ratio is also excellent. Highly recommended.

03/08/2026: A unique culinary experience in the heart of the historic center of Venaria Reale, just steps from the Royal Palace of the same name. We celebrated my dad's birthday with excellent seafood dishes, including the excellent fried calamari and prawns, along with seasonal Piedmontese dishes such as a platter of traditional cured meats, fried porcini mushrooms, ravioli with asparagus, and Robiola di Roccaverano DOP. All paired with Teo Costa's Quadrovale-labeled Arneis and Barbera d'Alba white wines. The children's menu was excellent; Davide and Vittorio enjoyed both the pasta and fries with breaded veal Milanese. I highly recommend this place for its location, the conviviality, the high-quality shapes and flavors, all topped off with attentive and kind hospitality. Excellent value for money.

28/07/2026: Great food, service not so much. This place is very good to enjoy the traditional Italian flavors with your family or friends. The portions are generous and the ingredients really fresh. The bad point for me is the service, we had to wait for the waiter over 20 minutes to get our drinks.

06/08/2026: Dinner for four after visiting the Royal Palace, tired and hot, but the experience at Bergamotto completely revitalized us! Excellent mixed fried fish, light and fragrant pizza, tagliatelle with zucchini, and excellent red shrimp tartare. All "topped off" by the professionalism and friendliness of Enzo, the dining room manager. We will definitely return in cooler weather to enjoy other local specialties.
