22/10/2025: A more than positive experience, given that the boiled meat was excellent, the service excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed. A fixed-price menu featuring your specialties (boiled meat, raw meat, and Russian salad) would be appreciated. Thank you, anyway.

20/10/2025: Carrù is the home of the fatted ox... so meat reigns supreme... but so do classic Piedmontese specialties, from starters to desserts... a must-see... book early, as it often sells out.

22/09/2025: We stayed with Silvia for two nights in our motorhome (booked through Pitch Up). We felt at home immediately and we thoroughly enjoyed all the delicious food that Silvia cooked for us. We ate outside each night and each course we ate was prepared and presented with great care. Silvia took time to explain how she created each dish and we have left with good intentions to experiment at home!!! An unforgettable experience!

04/10/2025: I hadn't heard of this typical and renowned local restaurant. I felt right at home, longing for some excellent boiled meat. My wish was granted with flying colors. Highly professional and courteous service. Constant, discreet attention. My sincere compliments to the owner, who runs the kitchen, and to his daughter, who looks after the customers at the tables. The restaurant is traditional with a hint of modernity, like the dishes we tasted. From appetizer to dessert, it was a succession of delicious dishes. Definitely recommended and definitely worth returning for. Excellent value. I recommend booking.

30/09/2025: For lunch for 4 people, typical Piedmontese dishes, 1 excellent quality boiled meat with side dishes and excellent sauces, portions perhaps a little small but everything good, good desserts ... fair prices, ok service!

30/09/2025: What can I say? I'm here on a business trip to Carrù and the surrounding area, and finding cozy places like this makes me feel good and work better. The staff is incredibly friendly, of course. The menu isn't extensive, but it's high-quality. I had the fillet steak with Barolo reduction, and it was succulent, tasty, and incredibly tender. The price is reasonable for the quality.

10/11/2025: The setting is very scenic, almost theatrical, with references to Piedmontese tradition and the atmosphere of the Fat Ox Fair. However, once seated, you realize the space is truly limited: the tables are very close together, and eating is quite uncomfortable. Moving or getting up to wash your hands is almost a feat. Gastronomically, the quality of the ingredients is good, and the local tradition is evident. We sampled appetizers and typical dishes related to the Fat Ox: tender and flavorful raw meat, well-made tajarin with ragù, flavorful ravioli, and of course the boiled meats served with the classic side of mashed potatoes and various sauces. However, for some courses the portions are rather small, and seconds are not available, a real shame, considering the type of menu and the conviviality expected from such a lunch. The sauces, though numerous and beautifully presented, are uneven: some are very good (like the Bagnetto Verde), others less convincing in terms of balance and flavor intensity. Greater attention to this aspect would certainly enhance the main course. The selection of local wines is also interesting: Ciabot's 2024 Dogliani pairs well with the meat dishes, and the hazelnut liqueur at the end rounds off the meal in a pleasant and typically Piedmontese way. In short, a positive experience for those who love tradition and want to experience the atmosphere of the fair, but with some reservations about the comfort and generous portions. The overall impression is good, but there is room for improvement, especially in the management of space and attention to certain details in the kitchen.

30/09/2025: Great location in the middle of a park. Good food, but incredibly slow service. You can't sit in a restaurant for more than five hours! I understand there were two ceremonies, but for that very reason, they should have increased staff for that day.
