05/11/2025: Beautiful restaurant in the vineyards, impeccable service, and excellent wines recommended by the sommelier. We ate very well and will definitely be back.

19/10/2025: Good food, but little attention to customer service: Dishes are left on the table without any presentation. Jams and cheeses are left without cutlery. Eggs are shared directly on the plate.

19/10/2025: We stumbled upon this osteria by chance. Initially, they told us there was no room, but then, inexplicably, they seated us. The food was absolutely excellent, but I'm sorry to say the service left a bit to be desired. As for appetizers, we had a cheese tasting, but no explanation was given as to what we were eating. The same was true for the jams (which lacked a spoon to scoop them onto our plates). We had to ask for a glass of wine several times. They asked me if I wanted Parmesan, and when I said yes, they simply spooned it onto my plate, spilling half of it on me (they could have left it on the table). Finally, we split the bill Roman-style, and we were charged an extra euro for the overage.

11/11/2025: A simple and elegant restaurant located in the historic center of Barolo. Excellent food, freshly grated truffles. The veal with tuna sauce and tiramisu are truly amazing. I highly recommend it.

27/11/2025: My boyfriend and I found this restaurant by chance during our visit to Barolo. The waiters are very friendly and made us feel at ease right away. We were served a welcome aperitif consisting of a Russian salad and a mix of focaccia, breadsticks, and bread. The ravioli are excellent, satisfying us to the last bite, accompanied by a nice glass of Dolcetto. To top it all off, we were treated to a taste of their Barolo and cinnamon biscuits, served with a smile. We've already recommended it to a couple of friends, and I recommend it to you too. Congratulations, truly.

23/11/2025: We went for dinner last night and had a great time! Excellent food, discreet and fast service, and good wine. The young man who served us gave us recommendations for some wineries, speaking about them in a truly engaging and passionate manner—truly brilliant! Special thanks to the blond waiter who prepared some cheeses for us to take away and left us a note with the explanations! I absolutely recommend this place; you won't be disappointed!

21/11/2025: The dough of the Pizza is one of the tastiest i have ever eaten. This is a MUST place to visit when traveling to Italy, and in Barolo.

16/09/2025: We returned to the Langhe for the second time for a tasting at Vite Colte, and inevitably, I can't help but compare it to my first experience at another winery. Unfortunately, overall, this second visit was less convincing. But let's start with the strong points: the facility is truly splendid. The architecture is meticulously designed to guide visitors through the various stages of winemaking. The aesthetics evoke the region, both in its colors and in its references to Piedmontese tradition. The barrel room is undoubtedly the most evocative part and represents the true jewel of the winery. The guide was very kind and knowledgeable, especially regarding the facility and the general winemaking processes. A few questions about the wines currently being produced remained unanswered, but overall the explanation was clear. Perhaps due to the tight schedule, I found the visit a bit rushed: personally, I would have preferred a slower pace and more informal interaction. Moving on to the tasting, unfortunately, I was the biggest disappointment. I had purchased the package on Freedom, which included two Barolos, a Barbaresco, and a Nebbiolo. In reality, we were served a Barolo, a Nebbiolo, a Sauvignon Blanc, and a Barbera d'Asti. Furthermore, the explanation of the wines was given all at once, leaving us to taste them on our own, accompanied by a platter of excellent cured meats, cheeses, and breadsticks. A more engaging approach, with a guided tasting step by step, would have made the experience much more interesting. That said, I still recommend visiting Vite Colte: the place is truly worth it and leaves a lasting impression. With a little more attention to the tasting, it could be an unforgettable experience.

09/11/2025: My experience at this restaurant was, unfortunately, not at all positive. We were a table of 13, primarily the location: in the cellar, among the barrels, a humid environment, obviously, but not ideal for lunch in November. It was dark (the overhead lamps didn't provide enough light, and there was no other lighting on the table), and sound leakage made it difficult to understand each other's conversations. The packaged breadsticks were good, but I expect them in a tavern, not a restaurant in the Langhe; the bread wasn't fresh today. The house red wine, a tart Nebbiolo, only slightly improved in flavor by letting it air out in the glass. For the first course, a vegetarian at the table was served tagliolini al dente, blanched and served with a drizzle of oil (I expect this dish to be on a children's menu; a simple butter and sage would have been fine). The meat was very salty. The service was slow and inattentive; we had to repeatedly ask for refills of bread and water (at one point, I got up to get the waitress's attention, bringing an empty bottle). The waitress literally started clearing the tables while we were still eating dessert. Finally, the Moscato glasses smelled bad; they were probably left in a cupboard and not cleaned before being brought to the table. All this for the modest sum of €55 per person, which I'm willing to pay if it's worth it, but not only because it's the truffle fair season in the Langhe. I don't think I'll ever return to this restaurant, nor will I recommend it.

05/05/2025: Eccezionale accoglienza ed organizzazione. Percorso pomeridiano “Master Chef” come un diamante…. nella mente PER SEMPRE Consiglio a tutti di farlo. Complimenti ancora.

30/04/2025: Sono un motociclista e le Langhe era una meta che dovevo fare, ovviamente non potevo non approfittare anche di un giro cantina/pranzo e degustazione vini..alla tenuta Germano mi ha accolto una piacevole donna di nome Viviana, una donna solare e simpatica, mi sono sentito subito a mio agio , mi ha fatto visitare la parte esterna delle vigne e spiegato in maniera dettagliata come vengono gestite , curate e trattate...( Fatevi spiegare perché ci sono pochi insetti nelle vigne 😆 ) . Il Giro per le cantine è da fare... si respira storia , si vede il passato che si intreccia col presente. Legno, acciaio, vetro, una mappa deve si vede il territorio perfettamente suddiviso per dare una giusta categoria e qualità all'uva...niente è lì per caso, tutto studiato nei minimi dettagli...bello! La visita è durata 1 oretta circa, dopodiché ci siamo spostati nel suo locale " il bosco delle galline volanti " dove mi aspettava la degustazione , io ho scelto quella base da 60€ Gli assaggi buonissimi, ho chiesto le ricette quasi supplicando ma Viviana è un osso duro, ha tenuto il segreto ( mainagioia ) , vini deliziosi , come il locale stesso...grazie Viviana sei stata un oste top , ritornerò sicuramente 😊
