17/02/2026: A True Local Gem in the Heart of Piazzo ❤️ Located in Piazzo, the beautifully preserved medieval upper town of Biella, Osteria Due Cuori sits under the historic arcades, perfectly in tune with its surroundings. Piazzo itself is a charming, timeless area, full of history and atmosphere, and well worth the visit on its own. The osteria is a quaint, cozy spot, run with great care by a young man and his aunt; la Zia. Both are extremely friendly, efficient, and make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. I started with a very good Negroni, followed by il nostro vitello tonnato con caramello al limone — excellent, with a lovely balance of flavors. For the main course, I had the Tagliata “Marchisio” alla piastra (approx. 300g) with oven-roasted potatoes, exactly as expected: perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. Worth noting: I was there on a Tuesday night and the place was packed. It’s not a large restaurant, but the fact that I was the only tourist says a lot… this is clearly a place with a strong local following and an excellent reputation among Biella residents. A wonderful experience and definitely one to be repeated.

11/11/2025: A jewel in the Alps: the old and new basilicas, the Museum of Treasures, and the frescoes tell a story of history and devotion. The mountain views are breathtaking, and the surrounding trails offer rejuvenating walks. Perfect for those seeking spirituality, nature, and art all in one place. Absolutely not to be missed!

09/11/2025: We went to the sanctuary in the evening, with the night lights and the tranquility of the late hour the place is even more suggestive.

12/03/2026: We met there for lunch after a very pleasant guided tour. It's a very large place with a large crowd, so be patient because you'll have to wait. I suggest either the à la carte or set menu; then it's up to you what you eat. Plenty of outdoor parking. The restaurant has clearly expanded over time, as it has many rooms and the menus and decor are all different.

23/02/2026: If you are in the wonderful city of Biella, be sure to visit this wonderful establishment! And if you are lucky and the menu includes veal cheeks "giannetta di vitello brasata" cooked in wine and chocolate, then you are the same "lucky" person as I was just now! Extremely delicious!

03/02/2026: A gem in the heart of Biella. The place is small, but I think it's perfect for those looking for a quiet evening with friends. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Every time I go, they always offer a small appetizer or some fruit with dessert (last time, mandarin oranges). These are small touches that contribute to a warm and pleasant atmosphere. It's like being at home!

01/12/2025: I've been twice in the evening and had a pretty good time. Our most recent lunch experience was: Shrimp, ricotta, and lime risotto (with a couple of lime sprinkles on top as a garnish) didn't wow us, but it was just about adequate... As for the Fassona steaks, however, they were a total disappointment. They arrived barely warm (a hot dish... as it should be... would have saved the situation a bit). There were some nerves/cartilage, a sign that the meat... not much... had been prepared with a somewhat rough cut. The service was friendly and quick. (I should note that the room was almost empty, so there was no difficulty in serving well-cooked dishes.) The atmosphere is a bit classic but well-kept (the plastic chairs without cushions are a bit out of place). In short, I wouldn't go back!!!

18/12/2025: A superb seafood dinner. We chose the tasting menu, which was a surprise and discovery with every bite... an absolute pleasure for the palate! Not to mention the wine paired with each course, perfectly paired and of superior quality. A total of 10+, definitely the best place to eat seafood in the Biella area and the surrounding area. Congratulations!

17/11/2025: We visited this restaurant for a special occasion. After a warm and friendly welcome, we ordered from the menu. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and attentive, the wine list extensive, and the dishes were meticulously prepared. The cuisine certainly exudes good taste, and the high quality of the expertly prepared ingredients is evident. Congratulations. We will definitely be back.
