Locale tranquillo, accogliente e ordinato. Siamo stati ricevuti con cortesia e seguiti gentilmente durante il servizio. Piatti ben realizzati, senza inutili "elaborazioni", porzioni giuste. Buoni anche i dolci, dei quali ci è stato cortesemente offerto un assaggio extra. Carta dei vini ben fornita per tutte le occasioni. Prezzi nella fascia medio-alta per Biella (intorno a 60 Euro a testa per un pranzo completo, con una bottiglia di bollicine piemontesi), ma nel complesso giustificati. Nei giorni festivi e la sera, parcheggio comodo e gratuito poco distante. La zona pedonale di Via Italia è vicinissima e quindi si possono fare agevolmente due passi dopo pranzo.

We had lunch at Christmas and had a great time. Very good quality food, excellent choice of wines. Relaxing, nice and clean environment. Medium-high prices, right portions.

It's a shame that the place is cold both in terms of temperature and environment.....it's no longer the Poet Bear, however the food was much appreciated. Thank you

Very welcoming place a stone's throw from the center of Biella, run by a couple of young guys, she stays in the dining room and he stays in the kitchen. She, Cristina, delightful, welcomed us with a wonderful smile and immediately brought a bowl of water for the dog. She was very nice throughout the service, even telling us the history of the place. Excellent lunch, all the dishes were delicious and no, I didn't photograph them but ate them immediately, but they were also very well presented. We ate Fassona steak and veal with tuna sauce as a starter, gnocchi and ravioli del plin as a first course. We also had a dessert and a bottle of wine, spending around 40 euros each. Also suitable for families with small children, I saw high chairs.

I am a chef and I tried your cuisine on Saturday for dinner, I didn't want to give 1 star because I saw your average and then it's just my opinion; the menu is very disappointing, just 5 starters, 5 first courses, 5 second courses, nothing prepared, nothing sauced, I chose the anchovies with burrata, the products used were excellent, but thrown away like that without a minimum of care or decoration €20? The meats were only grilled with only baked potatoes as a side dish of your choice, also in this case the meats were excellent, but they had not been marinated and the cooking was done wrong, what I mean is that making those preparations described on the menu choice does not we need a chef but simply a good housewife, and perhaps this is the case reflecting the name of the restaurant. I apologize for this criticism, the only thing without justification is that of not having 375cl bottles of wine, and for years that due of the increasingly stringent highway code, all restaurants have adapted in this regard.
