Ristorante Il Cacciatore Hotel Bellagio In Ovada

The hotel restaurant is called Il Cacciatore. It has a rustic and welcoming atmosphere, offering some excellent dishes from the Ligurian-Piedmontese hinterland. We had tagliatelle and risotto with porcini mushrooms, tagliolini with black truffle, and rabaton (local vegetable gnocchi) with fondue and fried porcini mushrooms. Everything was delicious, with a special mention for the tagliatelle. I think we'll be back in due course to try the meat and game dishes too!

Restaurant with good food. Excellent for mushrooms and meat. Excellent value. A simple and quiet place, ideal for a relaxing dinner with friends.

We found this lovely place by chance and stopped for lunch. Having never tried them, I ordered the rabaton with fondue...they were delicious!!! The carpaccio was also good.

A beautiful hotel in the middle of nature, it costs €50 including breakfast for one person per night. Dogs do not have to pay extra.

A loverly place to stop for a bit to eat, excellent tradition Italian restaurant. Owner is a great guy and speaks great English, the young girl waitress also . Excellent food and drinks . Try the ribeye steak at €4 per 100 gram . Place is in the middle of nowhere, but well worth visit . We stayed also 1 night in the hotel 🏨, it’s basic but just for a short stay it’s ok .

The staff were friendly and helpful. From the menu, we chose: water and 1/4 cup Dolcetto wine, a first course of wild boar ravioli, two second courses, lamb chops and a 500g beef rib, a spectacular tiramisu, and two espressos. We paid. €65, excellent value for money, and more than adequate portions. If you're passing by, stop by because it's definitely worth it.

Surrounded by greenery, seating is available both inside and in the garden. We ate fantastic, generous traditional dishes, cooked to perfection. The prices were reasonable. The staff were very friendly and quick. We'll definitely be back.

Reasonable prices, good food, ample parking. Lots of trucks and vans in the parking lot, so be sure to leave room for maneuver. The owner is a helpful person 👍

I stumbled upon this place by chance one Saturday. The restaurant's rustic atmosphere is somewhat charming, with dogs, cats, and chickens nearby. The decor is average. I was served the daily menu with many options, and chose the veal with potatoes. For a starter, I received a basket of fresh bread, but I had to ask for olive oil. The spicy olive oil I prefer wasn't available. The waitress was busy because she was serving many tables. I didn't have to wait long for the food. It was good, but the portion was small: three thin slices of meat and a few potatoes. The sauce was okay, though the consistency was watery. The beer was okay. There are no alternatives nearby, so if you're very hungry, consider a starter, first course, and second course. I paid €18.50 for the meal. Overall, it's a worthwhile place to visit. The large blue bench is nearby, but it has a very atmospheric atmosphere.
