24/12/2024: I have been frequenting this place for more than 20 years now and I must say that the pizza is certainly one of the best in Asti and the surrounding area. Located in the center of Piazza Statuto, on the surface it seems like a slightly shabby and retro place but when the pizza arrives you forget everything, you can choose the dough, the choice of pizzas is very varied and if you have particular needs just tell the person who takes your order and if it is not an absurd or impossible request they will try to accommodate you. The prices are good and the quality respectable. Surely in Asti there are more fashionable places with pizzas with high-sounding names and incredibly enriched with many ingredients but which in the end you can't finish or which make you feel bloated (many times it happened to me frequenting pizzerias not only in Asti) try to get a pizza with cereal dough and at the end you will still have room for dessert.

16/12/2024: They didn't serve us, after 45 minutes they managed to bring us the menu, after 1 hour they still hadn't taken the order, we left.

30/08/2024: I went to this location with friends for dinner, a small but nice place, menu worth reviewing carefully. Green anchovies are served whole with a green dip of parsley and NOT fillets from a jar with a kind of unidentifiable and compact mince. Anchovy spaghetti is served with chopped fresh anchovies in raw oil and served with finely chopped hard bread which dries out the dish and removes the saltiness of the oily fish on the palate. They served us a plate of very al dente square spaghetti seasoned with cooking water and perhaps the fish had been in the kitchen by mistake. I didn't get the meat but the side dish left a lot to be desired. I took dessert, but the ice cream I buy at the bar was much better. I asked for house wine and the owner brought us a barricaded Barbera (which goes very well with game and not anchovies) and a white Arneis and Favorita together (they are 2 very different grape varieties). If you can't even distinguish the diversity of the vine... I'd say that job isn't made for you. We may be too demanding, but we are a group of adults who like to eat and drink in various locations in the Maira valley and we will certainly never return here. When the municipality of Celle Macra puts out the competition to look for managers and offer jobs, it makes sure that they have the credentials to do so, otherwise the reputation of the valley residents and tourists will be at stake.

21/01/2025: Con mio marito abbiamo provato Peperino però quello che si trova in centro vicino a Piazza Carignano, quindi la nostra recensione si basa su quel locale e non quello di corso Trapani. Pizze eccellenti per la qualità dei prodotti utilizzati e la digeribilità dell'impasto della pizza. Il locale è piccolino, ben arredato peccato che abbiamo trovato qualche problema di areazione dal momento che c'era molto fumo. Il personale è veloce, efficiente magari con qualche sorriso in più non sarebbe male. I prezzi forse un po' troppo sopra la media (e pur sempre pizza) però di sicuro ho trovata questa pizza tra una delle migliori del centro di Torino.

05/12/2024: Locale carino, personale simpatico, molta disponibilità di orario. Cibo nella media, buone porzioni, però nessuno del gruppo ha preso una pizza. Sembra essere molto adatto per un pasto informale, ottimi prezzi

01/07/2024: Ho pranzato in questa osteria domenica 30giugno;il locale è a ridosso del corso principale di Alba e si trova a pochi metri dalla Chiesa di SanDomenico, dal Teatro Sociale e dalla Arena Estiva. Il locale è informale ma pulito e ordinato. Pregevoli gli antipasti(battuta di carne Fassona e insalata russa rivisitata),semplici ma buoni (ed abbondanti ) il plin burro e salvia e i tajarin al ragu di salsiccia),assolutamente gradevole il "classico"bonet. Abbiamo bevuto Mezzo litro di vino della casa(una ottima Barbera della cantina Aimassone di Diano) e 750 ml acqua Totale 72 euro. Valutando il luogo e la qualità di quanto proposto,considero il prezzo assolutamente adeguato;posso consigliarlo.

06/01/2025: Super negative experience... sliced ​​with truffle without truffle and mushroom cream which only tasted of metal and also burnt but paid 17.90. The chicken wings were as discreet as the chips. I also paid two euros for cover charge each and 3 euros for filtered water. The two of us, despite having eaten almost nothing, paid 38.90. 26/12/2024: Definitely negative experience, never been here and definitely won't go back. An out of place and very insolent waitress, with unsolicited jokes and very questionable attitudes. I appreciate education, not that a stranger instead of doing her job decides to act like a dead cat. A piece of advice: choose your staff better.
