02/08/2024: We stayed in the hotel for three nights (family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 16). The hotel is fantastic. Lovely spacious rooms, beautifully appointed, air conditioned and good wifi. The staff were absolutely lovely - helpful, friendly and polite. The food was delicious. All set in the most incredible location. Beautiful island. Good choice of places to eat, most with incredible views over the lake. Easy to get on and off ferries to the other Borromean islands (Isola Bella and Isola Madre) and back to the mainland (Stresa and Baveno). We swam every day too. Thoroughly recommend.

03/01/2025: They had canceled the reservation, there were 4 of us, they gave us a table for three, we sat down at 9.15pm, the first dish arrived at 10.47pm, my wife got her first dish at 11.37pm and the dish was missing a skewer and then they put the salmon which was not present in the list of ingredients. I had seafood linguine and the spaghetti arrived already overcooked and almost cold, stuffed with mussels just the name, the mussels were dirty and the fruit inside still had hair on it. In the restaurant there was a table with a loud speaker, we couldn't talk to each other so much so that some customers moved away, but the owners didn't care about the disturbance they created. Never again

17/11/2024: Always a fun place with live music, a very pleasant outdoor space in summer and interiors that perhaps need a refresh, but also not, because those like me who started frequenting this place around the age of 20, today participate in the evenings with an indescribable pleasure, precisely in seeing the same environment again linked to vivid memories of light-heartedness and fun that make every return better enjoyed, especially if with the same people as back then. Classic and modern cuisine, with specialties for all tastes and much better than fast food, burgers, hot dogs and sandwiches in general, like fries are much tastier and the portions are generous. The only point that has always left me perplexed is the size of the place, but there are few of them like this, so the fact that there are a lot of people on weekends in an overall small environment, when you can't use the area, doesn't even matter that much. external.

05/11/2024: Nightmare experience. We went on Saturday 2 November for the Saints' fair. When I booked I asked if they had a fixed menu or à la carte menu, having confirmed the à la carte menu I decided to book. I didn't give any weight to the NEGATIVE reviews and decided to trust me. At 12 we arrive at this "restaurant" that looked like a Tigurio, I was VERY perplexed, we sit down and I ask for the menu.....it wasn't there, today we eat with the fixed menu. My husband also wanted to leave because in the reservation I specifically asked for the menu as it would be. I would like to point out that in total there were 15 people in the place. At 1pm, the appetizers arrived: 5 slices of salami, 1 slice of cotechino with a spoonful of puree on top (I have never seen a presentation like this) 1 slice of veal with tuna sauce, NUMBER 2 local olives ne. At 2pm the first courses arrive for me the Cisrà, for my husband tagliolini with fassona ragù INEDIBLE, in fact he left them on the plate. ENOUGH it was really a pain in the ass, we had asked for the bill and we left, I forgot 2 glasses (not glasses), of dessert and a bottle of water, for the modest expense of eating NOTHING of €51.... We went out and went to Montezemolo, to the bar of the square to eat 2 toasts. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL, THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE TRUE, A PLACE TO AVOID.

07/01/2025: Per carità la pizza è sempre buona, anche se un pò bruciacchiata sul fondo, ingredienti di prima qualità, pizza fatta alla napoletana ma.... Il servizio è stato davvero pessimo... Come da consuetudine da due anni a sta parte, festeggiamo l'ultimo dell' anno nel locale ( pensavamo che il cinema fosse aperto, ma la nuova gestione ha pensato bene di tenere chiuso). C'è molta gente veniamo dirottati in un tavolo laterale dove dobbiamo farci notare piu' volte con il personale per soddisfare le nostre richieste.. Richieste semplici: tiella d'antipasto e tre pizze, fra cui una semplice margherita... Arrivano prima le pizze dopo la tiella che assaggiamo solo e facciamo poi incartare.... Ok, alle 22 il personale sparisce, non vedo piu' nessuno, vorremmo prendere caffè e dolci ma... Mi assento un attimo e quando torno trovo una bottiglia d' acqua al tavolo non chiesta. Al momento del conto, oltre a discutere sulla bottiglia, mi ritrovo circa sei euro in piu' per delle presunte frittelle alla nutella che io non ho manco visto passare...
