14/10/2024: Recycled cardboard brioches. The only bar that still has lots of brioches at midday. There must be a reason. Served empty brioche hard as a stone. Pointed out, they apologized. €2 receipt paid €3😂

24/09/2024: Two fantastic girls very sweet and very competent in service. Fantastic cuisine...good, very good lasagna (one of the many dishes), a fantastic roast with a side of potatoes, also delicious...then in my opinion the main dish of this place is their bruschetta... .in a large slice of bread not like the usual bruschetta with delicious tomato sauce on top and with mozzarella and onion on top, everything put to heat.....gentlemen, if you go to eat you will eat them like a king with very very honest prices .

03/11/2024: Siamo stati in due per pranzo in questo posto. Abbiamo aspettato un ora x una grigliata trasversale (come la chiamano loro). Porzione molto scarsa, 35 € in due, almeno aggiungete il contorno per riempire un po la portata. Devo dire carne molto buona, ma era un antipasto non un secondo.

05/10/2024: Sono stata ad un matrimonio e devo dire che il cibo era ottimo e abbondante, il servizio eccellente, gli invitati sono rimasti soddisfatti ci torneremo sicuramente

06/10/2024: The access wheel should be marked as difficult, small mountain road, narrow for 3 kms. We were notified the day before that there would be a party and not when booking. Insulation with the apartment next door is non-existent. The welcome was very brief and we were not offered breakfast, too bad.

23/09/2024: Se vi trovate in montagna e cercate un angolo di dolcezza, non potete non fermarvi alla Pasticceria IL SORRISO È un luogo che unisce sapori irresistibili e accoglienza calorosa, come solo in montagna si può trovare. La proprietaria è una persona speciale: simpatica, sempre sorridente e con una disponibilità rara, pronta a farvi sentire a casa fin dal primo momento. E poi c'è il suo fidato collaboratore, un vero professionista: efficiente e attento, sa sempre come rendere il servizio impeccabile e veloce. I dolci? Un vero paradiso! Ogni morso sembra raccontare la passione con cui sono preparati: dalle torte fatte in casa ai biscotti appena sfornati, c’è qualcosa per ogni gusto. Il caffè? Perfetto per una pausa rigenerante dopo una bella passeggiata nei boschi. La Pasticceria IL SORRISO è più di un semplice bar, è un’esperienza che coccola il palato e riscalda l’anima. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci!

06/12/2024: Bellissima gita organizzata per gruppi con arrivo in Bardonecchia visitato il paese, abbiamo preso la funivia, dopodiché bella esperienza col gatto delle nevi fino al rifugio. Cenato con antipasti, un primo di gnocchi e un ottimo cinghiale con polenta. Il personale preparato e cordiale! Mi è piaciuto molto, penso che d'inverno si arriva prenotando il gatto delle nevi non fai da te. Il paesaggio con la neve ne vale per staccare dalla routine consigliatissimo!!

08/12/2024: Il locale, di per sé, è carino ma i problemi sono emersi subito: luogo freddo in quanto non ben riscaldato, gli antipasti davvero miseri per quantità (la trota salmonata era davvero ridicola) e neanche eccezionali; i primi e la polenta veramente anonimi e miseri. Sconsigliato, siamo rimasti tutti deluso e affamati.

10/11/2024: Typical restaurant, ravioli ragù, tripe with green beans, cotechino and puree, grandmother's cake and panna cotta, red wine! All extremely good in a nice venue! Very good prices but incredible quality

02/11/2024: Traditional restaurant in the center of Gavi. Well-kept place, friendly staff and more than fair prices. Very good ravioli and desserts. Some improvements can be made on the dishes. Just keep in mind that access to the main room of the restaurant involves a somewhat steep staircase: if you have problems it is best to book one of the three tables located on the street level.

10/11/2024: Homely atmosphere with traditional food I recommend home-made dishes such as polenta and roe deer, there is also a nice walk nearby

01/11/2024: Today I went with friends and relatives to the Baita di Piancavallo restaurant; chilling experience to say the least: 1. Waitress slow in taking orders and rude to customers 2. Dirty environment, unwashed dishes and moldy walls 3. We waited 40 minutes before we needed them 4. Dear! (when I pointed out to the owner that they served me dessert with a dirty spoon twice, his response was: I tried hard. As if to say, let what I give you feel good because I'm the only one in the area)

17/08/2024: Piacevole cena in terrazza. Ottima la qualità dell pietanze proposte. Interessante la carta dei vini. Fascia prezzo medio/alta.

06/08/2024: Cena perfetta. Cibo buonissimo ed abbastanza sofisticato. Personale super disponibile e preparato. Location suggestiva. Mi sono trovata benissimo e spero di tornarci presto.

28/12/2024: Pranzo di Natale al Campanile, il cibo è stato ottimo ma ci aspettavamo qualcosina in più. Solamente un primo, non sono mai passati per il bis ed il servizio non sempre efficiente. Prezzo abbastanza altino per quello che si è mangiato. Il locale è molto bello, ma in alcuni punti ci sono problemi di infiltrazioni di umidità da aggiustare con urgenza. Il cibo buono ma ci è sembrata l'impressione di aver mangiato il minimo sindacale per essere il pranzo di Natale.

08/10/2024: Abbiamo prenotato in questo albergo senza conoscere nulla. Siamo stati positivamente colpiti essendo ricavato in un antico monastero immerso nel silenzio della campagna. Purtroppo non abbiamo cenato li perché c'era un matrimonio, ma la titolare ci ha indicato un ottimo ristorante nei pressi. Le camere essenziali ricavate dalle vecchie "celle" del monastero. Tutto molto accurato interni e giardino. Abbiamo chiacchierato con la titolare che ci ha raccontato i trascorsi. Ottima colazione in una stanza tranquilla. Qualità/prezzo ottima. Da tenere presente oltre che per pernottamenti anche per cenare.

26/09/2023: A pizza with a pre-cooked base for €15 seems ambitious to me. Of 3 pizzas, one was missing the raw material and could not be made, another had the dough advertised on a flyer outside, a third had a topping and a type of beer on the menu. In short, very approximate. Discount with presented flyer confirmed. Too bad I had higher expectations, I would say a fast food restaurant than pizza

14/09/2024: Restaurant on the Cavour rock. We ate outside on the terrace, with a stunning view. Abundant and delicious dishes at a good price. Friendly and helpful staff. The caliph cook is number 1.

20/08/2024: So, the premise is that I have a good mouth and I wouldn't even complain about a restaurant that cooks dead mice, but here I have to warn future visitors of this restaurant, I have a moral duty! no, we're not quite there! I don't know where to start, the truth is that the lady in the room is very kind but in this case it's not enough, not enough at all. In the kitchen there is someone who is against this enchanting place in the greenery. Not only is the food not up to par even in a military canteen, but it is also dangerous to think of serving very low quality food like the one that arrived at the table this evening. I haven't been well and my partner even less so, I won't list the symptoms, it doesn't seem appropriate to me but to give you an idea, I wouldn't recommend it even to my enemy. I hope with all my heart, given the previous reviews, that the gardener was in the kitchen this evening. Leaving aside the six euro cover charge, leaving out the appetizers taken out of the jars of preserves, leaving out the cured meats from the Selex trays, Leaving aside the one hundred euro bill for two people considering an appetizer, two dishes and coffee with a bottle of wine, the thing the worst were the peppers that destroyed my weekend. Never again. Ps. Food is no longer rated -10 otherwise I would have done it.

23/12/2024: Dopo anni abbiamo voluto riprovare questo locale, purtroppo non abbiamo avuto fortuna, la pizza non ci è piaciuto per niente, impasto gommoso, con il fondo secco, mia moglie ha rimandato indietro la sua con bordo bruciato, la nuova era praticamente uguale, non ci torneremo. Peccato per Asti....

07/12/2024: Preso: carne cruda.‘fredda e insipida, agnolotti sembravano usciti dal microonde e la salsa invisibile, tagliata pessima.. da evitare assolutamente! Classica trappola per turisti!! Una vergogna!!

04/01/2025: I had booked from 13 to 15 January, a week before they called me to cancel the reservation, citing a phantom inspection, in the middle of the winter season (?) ... I'll let you imagine how convenient it was to look for another place to stay, with availability for the same days. Obviously the new booking had much higher costs given the short time.

11/01/2025: The Carducci Bistrot is an example of how a bistro should be built. Clean and elegant place to rest, highly recommended for those looking for a place to rest. 5 full stars because 10 cannot be given

11/12/2024: Siamo stati ospiti in questo ristorante a pranzo sabato… nulla da dire, location spettacolare, cibo impeccabile e servizio molto curato, personale molto gentile e disponibile ad ogni richiesta. Il menù offre sia piatti tradizionali della cucina piemontese, sia piatti di pesce (menzione d’onore ai gamberi e polpo, erano BUONISSIMI!). Nella stagione estiva dispongono anche di una terrazza esterna con vista sulle langhe, sarà sicuramente meta di un nostro viaggio estivo! Purtroppo non abitiamo qua vicino, ma ci torneremo sicuramente. Bravi!!

08/12/2024: Ristorante molto curato come i piatti che abbiamo mangiato, dal vitello tonnato e tajarin al ragù menzione speciale per la guancia di vitello stracotta al barbaresco, una favola. Cantina eccezionale con ricarichi onesti. Ci torneremo sicuramente a breve!
