21/04/2025: In occasioni come il pranzo di Pasqua si rischia spesso di incappare in delusioni, con prezzi non all'altezza della qualità offerta. Invece lo staff della Vecchia Giacobba ha saputo offrire un buonissimo pranzo di Pasqua, con quantità e qualità delle portate degna della migliore tradizione piemontese. Servizio cortese e in tempi ragionevoli, prezzo adeguato (40 euro vini inclusi) senza rinunciare ad un rapporto informale ed amichevole con i clienti. Allego la foto del menù, tutti piatti ottimi, tranne i ravioli che purtroppo non erano all'altezza. Bevande: prosecco di benvenuto, favorita o arneis, barbera Vinchio Vaglio, vino da dessert dolce o secco, caffè e digestivo e naturalmente acqua tutto compreso nel prezzo. Per ogni portata minimo due passaggi. Direi che non si può pretendere di più......

04/06/2025: We ate here for lunch. The first courses were good with good quality ingredients, the mix of cured meats was a bit disappointing. The service was polite, not very fast but attentive. We also bought some house wines at a competitive price... very good

10/06/2025: Unfortunately I have to give 3 stars and not more because even though the waitress realized (when she came to ask us) that they burned practically the whole calzone of my companion, she did nothing to fix it! Too bad because you can tell it's a nice dough and a good product!

06/06/2025: WOW . Da ex pizzaiolo di Lentini’s dico WOW. Location confortevole e passionale. Bella gente. Ottimo per le famiglie. Cameriere gentili e capaci che ai giorni d’oggi è rarità e cibo pazzesco. Farinata goduriosa e da far scendere la bava e pizza bellissima da vedere ancora di più da mangiare. Bravi bravi bravi. Mi rimarrà in testa per un po’ questa pizza. ❤️🔞‼️

17/04/2025: Mi fermo per caso questa sera con due dei miei tre figli rientrando dal lavoro perché vogliamo provare questa pizzeria che vive di una reputazione fantastica da tempo ma è sempre piena… Detto ciò sono le 19:30 ed abbiamo fretttisisma perché dobbiamo ancora andar a prendere il fratellino piccolo e non abbiamo prenotato e diciamo loro di aver poco tempo così ci infilano in un tavolo e in 30 minuti ci sfamano Ed è davvero tutto anni 80 come si narra di questo posto ma proprio tutto!!! La pizza è sottile come da bambini ed è buonissima…pizza napoletana spostati proprio per capirci Ed il locale ha le perline e i quadri come quando andavo 40 anni fa con i miei in paese una volta ad inverno ed era davvero così perché anche se non andavi a cena fuori tutti i sabati non eri uno sfigato ma eri semplicemente normale E poi le cameriere sono gentili e ti sorridono come una volta eppure sono giovani e non ti stressano ma ascoltano cosa vorresti mangiare Ed il conto per finire e davvero corretto e puoi pagare bancomat o contanti insomma come vuoi e va tutto bene Che dire lo stile deve piacere ed a me è piaciuto ma qualità della pizza e cortesia ed educazione e conto mi hanno fatto scendere una lacrimuccia Torneremo sicuramente

11/07/2025: AVOID Situated just by a lovely town square by the beautiful Lago Maggiore Vincent Bistro looks neat and presents itself as a nice mid-range wine bar and restaurant. Despite the scenic view of the lake and the quaint town square, sadly, there is little to like and much to dislike. For starters, my family, my wife and I ordered a deli platter to share. It was very small, and all of the cold cuts and cheeses lay on top of a very dry, shredded salad, seemingly put there to make the dish look like it had more meats and cheeses than it actually did. For the main dish, I ordered the 24€ chicken with potatoes and black pepper sauce. As you can clearly see from the attached photo, I was served half a chicken breast, one or one and a half potatoes and a very small sauce dish. I love chicken. I have rarely found any chicken dish that I have not liked. This was very, very dry, and it seemed like it’d been cut before it was cooked rather than afterwards (which would explain why it was so dry). The potatoes were mushy and bland, and the sauce was not much to write home about. On top of all of this, the waitress was cold in her demeanor and didn’t seem like she cared either about us or her job. Frankly I’ve had better service buying post stamps in the nearby shops in Verbania than here. Lastly, even though we told the waitress several times that we wanted to keep the salad from the cold cuts to have it with our main dishes later on she repeatedly tried to take it from our table without asking. I get that it looks nice. But. Do not eat here. There’s plenty of very nice restaurants nearby where you can get the same view, better service, and much better food for a more reasonable price.

08/12/2024: Come sempre, non posso che elogiare il proprietario/chef: hai una marcia in più e sei veramente bravo ! Detto questo farei una piccola critica: le porzioni sono minimali, non guasterebbe un pò di portata in più. Comunque bravi tutti.

26/04/2025: Small but welcoming place in the heart of Alagna, perfect for enjoying the typical Valsesian miacce accompanied by a good glass of wine or beer. Convivial atmosphere and friendly service make every visit enjoyable.

28/04/2025: The approximation... I ask for a vegan croissant as I am lactose intolerant and after biting into it I realize that instead of having jam it has pistachio cream and obviously it is not vegan... more attention and customer care would be needed
