22/11/2024: Old typical restaurant that would need to adapt to current regulations, for example on toilets that do not respect them... it is surprising in a town like Borgo d'Ale which hosts a monthly second hand fair attended by hundreds of people not to find a fair and welcoming gastronomic offer... the quality of the food ranges from poor, polenta not worthy of the name, to passable, the boiled meat has good meat but is accompanied by ordinary sauces... starters expensive and distributed in ridiculous quantities. The sipped bread... terrible quality and quantity/price ratio. Except for the young waitresses who have to work to cover the owners' shortcomings... You leave hungry and with a light wallet...

19/01/2025: Su hopes it's an exception to the rule, but we started with a wait (the place was already booked) for half an hour, when we got to the tables we decided what to eat, personally I had a margherita pizza. The aforementioned dish arrived after a further half hour, the quality of the cooking was average, while the mozzarella didn't seem like that.... It was distributed as if they were flakes of an industrial cheese, certainly there are better pizzas, but for 5 euros could also have been acceptable, strange enough that we even had to pay for a cover charge and bread since we hadn't even been set up a table with the aforementioned cutlery (bread/grissini totally absent)

18/01/2025: We waited 45 minutes for a table we had booked for 8.30pm. After sitting down at 9.25pm ​​we ordered and waited another 50 minutes for the pizzas which weren't even good. Terrible organization and they didn't even apologize for the delay in giving us the table and bringing the food.

07/12/2024: Vengo spesso in questo locale e ogni volta mi trovo benissimo sia per la pizza con prodotti ottimi e digeribilissima che per la cucina con i suoi piatti. uno dei pochi ristoranti dove si puo trovare l ottima Leffe Rossa alla spina .Se passate da Stresa fateci un salto.

22/11/2024: Super adresse , nous sommes déjà venus l'année dernière, c'était nickel. Et cette année nous avons fait 2 fois, toujours parfait ! Vraiment une belle adresse avec un très bon accueil. Je recommande vraiment !!

18/01/2025: I went in at 12 when the place had just opened, I left my husband outside with the one year old who was crying and screaming because he was tired, it would still be a long walk to get home. I ask if we could sit at a table to have something warm and calm the baby but the blonde lady behind the counter tells me that we only sit down to eat lunch. I repeat that I would have needed to calm my baby by breastfeeding him in the heat even for a few minutes and that my husband and I would certainly have had a coffee or an aperitif, the other bars were at least a quarter of an hour away on foot and the little one would not have he really could do it anymore. She looks at me, smiles at me smugly, tells me to look for another bar and blows me a kiss with her lips while nodding her head towards the exit door. I remain in disbelief and the only thing I can tell her is to expect a nice review, but in hindsight I should have picked up my son, brought him in and breastfed him. Life must not have been kind to this lady to have all this malice to unleash in situations like this, but I understood the common opinion of this place and the people who run it as soon as I told the locals what happened who I met shortly after. One word: shame on you.
