16/08/2025: A lovely find just steps from Piazza Vittorio. I tried a delicious agave margarita and enjoyed chatting with the bartender, a professional, friendly, and knowledgeable guy. They mainly serve cocktails with Mexican spirits. I want to go back!

15/02/2025: Overall, a disappointing experience compared to expectations. The atmosphere is simple and rather pleasant. Several small rooms with 2-4 tables each, spread over two floors in a rather beautiful period noble building. The dishes are not very well prepared and presented; I'd say they're not very successful: without any major flaws, but lacking in character. A fixed fish menu for all tables. The wine list is too short. The service was naive, with some of the staff friendly but clearly and explicitly inexperienced, and others more professional. However, there were gross ingenuity and long waits in a nearly deserted restaurant. Finally, the price: it was Valentine's Day, granted, but for what we got, the price was truly exorbitant.

19/10/2025: Absurd. I have no idea why it only has 2 stars. Maybe it's because the owner doesn't believe in these things, since she's so sweet. As for the food, it's out of this world, homemade and sophisticated all at the same time. Pumpkin tortelloni with gorgonzola and guanciale... I wanted to take a photo but didn't have time... they were already eaten before being served, hahaha. I'm a mess and disorganized. I come home dead tired and find everything tidy and organized. The rooms are small but cozy, but it's not so much the luxurious location and gourmet cuisine that make the difference... the difference is the people who welcome you, and they are truly wonderful. Nothing to add.

02/07/2025: Nice place, unique and well kept, with excellent coffee shop, newsagent and tobacconist. Too bad there is a dog behind the counter, which ruins the good impression a bit for hygienic reasons. It would be enough to keep it somewhere else to make the place really perfect.

06/09/2025: The Cycle Café is an excellent starting point for a bike ride in the Canavese area. Simone, besides being friendly, is full of great advice on local routes. The café offers various supplies and purchases for cyclists. It's also a great place for a post-ride aperitivo.

06/09/2025: I was at Tenuta Carretta for a wedding, working as an event portraitist, and I must say it was a delightful experience. I'll start by saying that I see so many locations on my travels and only stopped for an aperitif, but it was enough to appreciate the excellence of the place: the evocative atmosphere among the vines, the breathtaking view of the hills, and the attention to detail that immediately conveys the feeling of being in a true winery. The food was impeccable, prepared and presented with great care, and the air-conditioned interior spaces made the experience pleasant even during the hottest hours. The property as a whole is elegant and welcoming, perfect for a wedding or any special event in complete serenity. I have no connection with the estate, so I'm not speaking out of personal interest: my experience is direct and sincere. Highly recommended for those seeking a venue that combines charm, professionalism, and authentic beauty.

26/10/2025: A wonderful experience! We had a lovely lunch with the corgis happily roaming around the property. We were greeted by the owner, Benedetta, who was very kind and welcoming! Everything was perfect! Recommended if you love animals and nature and want to spend a day out with a difference!

13/10/2025: We contacted the facility via email for detailed information about the Corgi event, but received no response. We also attempted to contact the facility several times by phone, using the number listed on their website, but received a response only after several days from Benedetta, who was very annoyed by our insistence. She also stated that, given our insistence, it was a sensory experience and therefore not suitable for us in Milan, specifying her origins as Piedmontese. Unfortunately, her naive, to say the least, manners are not consistent with the typical management of a shelter dedicated to fostering, and we therefore advise her to continue her career solely as a breeder.

23/09/2025: The wedding reception was a complete success, thanks both to the location and the couple, who took care of every detail and the management of the castle itself. The catering service was less than perfect; they were probably tired, but still not impeccable. That's okay. There's always room for improvement. I haven't had a chance to review the rooms.

08/09/2025: We got married on July 12th... Oviglio Castle allowed us to make our dream come true, and it was an unforgettable day. It all started about a year earlier when we visited the venue. Carlo, the owner, welcomed us with extreme professionalism and clarity about what they offer their clients. From the very first moment, the pricing proposal was simple and clear, leaving no room for misunderstanding. Excellent value. The castle offers all the necessary services for the wedding (printing of menus and all place cards, table decorations, general castle decorations, and wedding table plan). They have an on-site restaurant for dinner/lunch. They also take care of the cake and the open bar. Carlo welcomed us to the castle several times to organize everything and answer any questions. On the day of the ceremony, everything was taken care of down to the last detail... the aperitif food, the drinks, the dinner, and the cake. We also stayed in the rooms, and the next morning, breakfast was equally excellent. The most surprising thing was how unique we felt, even though they host weddings every weekend throughout the summer. Thank you so much.

29/09/2025: I love it, on the river, between Gran Madre and Corso Mincalieri. Aperitif, pulce... delicious coffee. Messina beer. Today, Sunday, open from 11:00 a.m. to approximately 9:30 p.m., and always at varied hours despite the blackboard, but only Thursdays and Sundays included.

12/11/2025: I've been twice, I'm celiac, and the pizza is really good. There's no separate menu, so you can order anything. The staff is polite and friendly.

06/11/2025: Overall, a disappointing dinner. I found the service terrible, from the (I imagine) uninteresting owner at the register to the completely incorrect order from the waitress, resulting in a nearly 50-minute wait for three pizzas. Although I received a pizza I hadn't asked for, I have to say it wasn't bad, and the same goes for my friend's gluten-free one. The farinata, on the other hand, wasn't up to temperature for some reason and was way too thick. The bill was quite steep for the experience; I'd been there several times before and remembered it much better.

02/07/2025: A welcoming and well-kept place, ideal for any time of day. The staff is always kind and helpful, ready to advise with professionalism. Excellent dishes, fresh ingredients and an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Recommended for a breakfast, a tasty lunch or an aperitif with friends!
