22/04/2025: Terrible Easter lunch 2025, millefeuille with tuna sauce were wholemeal crackers, not very crunchy but soggy, escalopes half a millimeter thick as hard as reinforced concrete, it was difficult to cut them, a painful dessert consisting of a slice of dry and hard Colomba with a round slice of chestnut cake on top with very sweet and nauseating honey cream... the only decent thing were the porcelain coffee cups with beautiful designs….. menu €35….but it was worth even less….. it would certainly have been better to eat a nice pizza topped well with a glass of beer!!!! Worst Easter lunch I've had in my life....I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

14/04/2025: Excellent refreshment point. Located in the Castelnuovo industrial area, Scrivia is perfect for a business lunch, fast service, good food, friendly staff. Excellent value for money, for the pasta with tomato sauce and the grilled chicken with potatoes I spent 12 euros with coffee

20/03/2025: Menu of the day between 9 and 12 euros. The aubergine parmigiana is good, the carbonara is decent. Very welcoming staff but the times are a bit long. Parking for heavy vehicles in the industrial area.

25/05/2025: I went for the second time with some people, because the first time I had a good time. Let's say that the time made us want to wait a bit: an hour of waiting. We arrived at 8:00 pm, we started at 9:00 pm. Appetizers: all ok. When the grill arrived, it was cold, with the side dish of course, and we realized that the ribs were missing. They told us that they were cooking and would arrive, served and cut on the spot. Plot twist: the ribs were not grilled, but boiled and then grilled. When I told him, he told me that it wasn't true, he had cooked them at a low temperature and then grilled them. I, who have worked in the kitchen, know that he was making fun of me. However, for whatever I asked for, to drink or anything else, I always had to wait 30 minutes. It's not worth it as a restaurant. I won't go back.

25/04/2025: My family and I had a great Easter lunch at Borgo Antico. They surprisingly had an amazing vegan menu!! 😍🍆🥦🍄‍🟫(no worries, there is also a regular one :). Food was freshly made with local vegetables, and really good quality. Great wine selection, 🍷also available to buy from the restaurant, 🍾along with other local product such as rice etc. If you are a vegan and your are struggling to find a nice place where to eat traditional italian food with your non vegan friend this is the place to go! Staff was also super friendly and professional. Highly reccomend it! 👌

07/07/2025: I went to dinner with some friends, there were 4 of us... the restaurant was empty on a Friday night... the service was very slow and not very precise. We ordered tajerin and agnolotti with roast ragù and they were very salty, the fillet was burnt, the dessert had a very compelling description but then we got a tart that looked like the one from Esselunga. The only good thing was the wine except for how they served us. The bill was not proportionate to what we ate and how they served us.

08/06/2025: Arrived in Piedmont, Calosso on Thursday 5 June 2025. In the evening we went to eat with friends at Restaurant Ca’Rapulin. What a beautiful location and a breathtaking view. Excellent food. Surprising menu with delicious dishes and carefully selected matching wines from the region. Worth it. There is also a hotel. Recommended. Friendly service. Top experience.

07/06/2025: Very nice atmosphere, but high prices. For each glass of wine (aperitif) we spent 7/8 euros each with a piece of focaccia per person. No particular view that justifies such a price.

13/06/2025: Location stupenda, terrazza vista lago meravigliosa, personale cortese, attento e premuroso, aperitivo con cocktail ottimi, tagliere misto speciale, con qualche chicca un pò diversa dal solito, per 2 persone il tagliere è perfetto, accompagnato da un buon drink e da una location accogliente, servizio veloce.
