18/08/2025: Good morning, today, my mom and I visited this restaurant for the second time in Serralunga d'Alba. The first time was for a quick coffee, but today, after visiting the castle, I really wanted to go. It's hard not to eat well in Piedmont, but today I was proved right with other dishes I tried at this restaurant. Before entering the streets leading to the castle, we found this restaurant. I immediately loved the hospitality and the simplicity of the dishes—in this case, the traditional approach—with which they prepared everything. We started with an exceptional and beautifully presented Fassona beef appetizer, followed by rabbit as a main course, served with potatoes and steamed vegetables. Finally, we finished with an exceptional hazelnut cake served with vanilla ice cream, all accompanied, of course, by a delicious 2021 Barbaresco. A top-notch lunch at a good price considering the general price increases, but above all, I want to emphasize the friendliness, professionalism, and helpfulness—things that can't be taken for granted these days. We have a small dog, and they kindly brought us water on a very hot day. At the back of the restaurant, we have a beautiful terrace overlooking the Langhe. I highly recommend this place and hope it stays open, since from what I understand, it will be closed due to internal issues. I hope they resolve the situation and that this restaurant, which for me is a symbol of tradition and good Piedmontese cuisine in Serralunga d'Alba, remains open. 10/11/2025: Terrible pizza. First of all, they replaced the burrata with mozzarella, and the prosciutto was baked in the oven, so it was pretty inedible. The dough was heavy and undercooked. Furthermore, the tomato sauce was runny, and when I ordered from Glovo, it arrived practically drowned.

21/09/2025: I can only review the pizza because we only ate that. They have several options on the menu, some with funny names: they're well cooked, well-filled, and just the right size (you can also ask for a baby version). The first and second courses are also good. The service is fast, attentive, and friendly. The place is clean, and there's plenty of parking. I'd say it's more than good. If we ever find ourselves in the Turin area again for a weekend, we'll definitely keep it in mind, and maybe even try the desserts!

31/08/2025: We arrived and were seated immediately. There was a wait of at least 10 minutes for the menu. We ordered, and waited 35 minutes for two beers. We even asked for our request, and the waiter and his colleague shrugged their shoulders at our request. The pizza was okay, but with low-quality ingredients, and above all, not local. I ordered a pizza with toma cheese, which wasn't available, but they didn't say anything to me. Not recommended.

28/08/2025: Today we ate fabulous pizzas, excellent first courses and side dishes. Excellent service.

09/09/2025: I discovered this gelateria through a friend, and I went there today for the first time. I was looking for sugar-free gelato and was amazed by how good it was. Absolutely the best! Thanks also to Cristina, who, besides being very kind and friendly, also managed to recommend the perfect pairing! I'll be back and I highly recommend her!

17/10/2025: We've been visiting this enoteca regularly for many years, enjoying the excellent wine selection and the exceptionally good and varied "Spuntini" (spintini) to go with it. Once a year, we also come here with our cooking club and were very satisfied with the selection! We could even give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, the bartender wasn't the same as before and seemed rather dismissive and grumpy. But we were shocked when we got the bill. Yes, we probably drank about three glasses of wine per person on average. But €40 per person didn't seem entirely reasonable. Even when we bought wine to take home, they tried to charge us different prices than advertised. All in all, this wasn't a confidence-building measure! We'll definitely go again, hoping it was just a misunderstanding. But for that, it only gets 3 stars!

06/09/2025: The piadina was truly delicious, generously filled and made with fresh ingredients. I asked for a vegan version, and they were very helpful in substituting the stracchino with hummus—an excellent alternative, tasty and perfectly balanced. The place is charming, well-kept and clean, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly kind, making you feel at home. A little corner where simplicity meets quality. I'll definitely be back.
