24/06/2025: Unfortunately, it is not the La Romana ice cream shop of the past. The current Vittoria cream shop has nothing to do with the ice cream of the past. Ice cream in negligible quantities and not even excellent quality... too bad because before it was a delight for all the senses! I will not return :-(

01/04/2025: We stayed with the ski club on the occasion of the golden egg. Despite the chaos, good service and good value for money. Nice environment. Located right on the slopes but also accessible on foot.

13/06/2025: Young and informal environment. You eat well and in summer you can enjoy the beautiful terrace on the Po shared with the Amici del Fiume rowing club.

13/06/2025: At 15.00 kitchen is closed. Other than that it’s a nice place and you can enjoy watching tennis 🎾. Perfect !

20/06/2025: Special pizza, unique and inimitable. Same quality as always. In the place it seems that no time has passed, everything is as it has always been. Improved service. Compliments to the family!

06/04/2025: Pastry shop with seats also outside where, in the warm weather, it is pleasant to indulge in a sweet treat. Very kind service and excellent products, from pastries to cakes. At Christmas we also enjoyed a fantastic panettone.

06/07/2025: Location in the center, small and quiet. We dined at the tables outside and I had a good time because, despite it being Saturday night, it was not in the city traffic. Friendly waiters, quick service. I ate the artisanal tagliatelle with white Fassone ragù ... tasty, very good!! As a second course, the Piedmontese mixed fried food. Excellent quality ingredients, tender meat, vegetables and exquisite desserts. The only negative note: I ate a slice of white meat with great effort because it had taken on the sweet taste of fried desserts, I filled it with sauce to be able to finish it. They should fry the sweet and savory in separate oils. Very good macchiato coffee, average prices. We had a 50% The Fork discount

24/05/2025: Was expecting a nice setting and delicious food considering came to see Fontanafreda and read about food on reviews. Unfortunately food was average. Just did not compare to all the great food we had in Barolo region. Taste was so so. The place looks like a large coffee shop in a big hotel and considering we are in the middle of vineyards it’s totally indoors with no views. Quite disappointed. The service was friendly.

07/05/2025: Osteria sita all'interno del Villaggio Narrante di Fontanafredda. Ingresso attraversando l'enoteca. Ampia sala. Menù non ampio. Buon il vitello tonnato e il brasato. Pessimo il vino scelto (un Barbera, mal di testa tutta la notte). Bene il servizio.

10/05/2025: I slept and dined in this agriturismo during a recent bike trip. Perfect solution. Quiet place where you can leave your bike peacefully parked in the courtyard. The owners are very nice and welcoming. The dinner with a view of Monviso was excellent at a price for a Milanese absolutely convenient.

25/04/2025: We came for a tour of the Asti area and stopped at this farmhouse. Family atmosphere, courteous staff and simple, genuine and very good food. The cuisine is homely as it should be in these environments.

01/06/2025: Albese superlative, it's been years since I've eaten one as good as this! For the photo I remembered halfway, because it was too inviting! 😂 Recommended by motorbike, beautiful road to get there.

19/05/2025: Magnificent view from the terrace used as a dining room, it is open laterally, the restaurant is located in the town center easily accessible with parking. the food, excellent appetizers, the first courses less so, the tajarin with asparagus, 2 in number, very watery, the gnocchi al castel magno good but the sauce could have been thicker. Good desserts, perhaps the warm zabaglione.... Quick, friendly service, fair prices.

EXCELLENT QUALITY FOOD, FRESH, GENUINE, AND ABUNDANT, SERVICE, FRIENDLY AND ALWAYS PRESENT, EXCELLENT BLACK AND WHITE WINE, AN EXCELLENT TOMA. I LOVELY THANK THE OWNER, MR EZIO, WHO IS AN EXCEPTIONAL, VERY LIKEABLE AND EASY PERSON, LIKE HIS WIFE WHOSE NAME I DON'T KNOW, EXCELLENT COOK! 03/06/2025: A pleasant bar with a good atmosphere. The croissants are delicious (the pistachio one is top-notch). The only drawback is that they sometimes take a long time to serve you, and the music is a bit loud.

08/06/2025: Incredibly beautiful and quiet. There's an attached restaurant. Fine cuisine (and very affordable) with great local wine. I know a thing or two about this place. They've had a Michelin star for years. The rooms are comfortable and good, even for longer stays. Not really a detour if you're heading south, and worth it for what you get. AND I saw the first fireflies of my life. :-)

08/06/2025: Il fiorile was an exquisite experience. We had one of the best meals of our lives. The ambiance, the taste, the hospitality, everything was perfect. We didn't expect much but were remained very pleased. It's a 20 minute drive to Seravalles which is nice too. Would definitely come back!
