05/05/2025: The location is modest from the outside and not very well maintained. Excellent staff and excellent service. Good quality food. The atmosphere isn't perfectly comfortable, but the dining room is spacious and bright, definitely recommended for groups.

12/09/2025: A pleasant, unexpected discovery Discovered almost by chance during an evening motorcycle ride, cold and hungry, we stumbled upon Botte 40. We didn't have high expectations: we just wanted a quick stop and a bit of relaxation before hitting the road again. We were greeted with great kindness and immediately felt at ease. The service was impeccable: fast, attentive, and friendly. We ordered two pizzas, a calzone filled with cooked ham, provola, and tomato, and a diavola. As Neapolitans, we know what to look for in a pizza, and while it wasn't the kind of pizza we'd find in childhood, the dough and the quality of the ingredients pleasantly surprised us. Plus, the portions are truly generous. It was an unexpected stop, but it turned out to be a real revelation. We'll definitely be back!

22/08/2025: Dinner with family last night; we ate fish; appetizers were very good, as were the fried dishes. A good unbottled white wine. The dessert was excellent! We'll definitely be back!

07/10/2025: Good pizza, the crispy kind, so not Neapolitan. The only problem was the cost of water, €4 for a liter, and especially the €3 cover charge for a paper tablecloth on the outdoor table (the only choice), which was infested with bees. The waitress was lazy, ready to leave at 2 PM sharp. It's fine for a quick lunch break, but I'd probably try something else.

13/09/2025: The pizza was good but a little heavy, overall not bad, the draft beer was good and very cold (it arrived almost frozen with a few pieces actually frozen on top, probably because they keep the glasses in the fridge).

11/07/2025: Finally something different in Campobasso. A variety of options, crafted with imagination and refinement. The small but wonderful venue creates a welcoming and intimate atmosphere. The owner, Antonio, is always available and present, and knew how to entertain us, advise us, and serve us admirably. Congratulations! I'll definitely be back often!

14/09/2025: Historic restaurant located in Campomarino. Service and hospitality are average. The owner seems a bit gruff, but he's actually a nice guy. Excellent food. Amazing lamb. Good value. The restaurant is small, so reservations are essential. Free parking along the street. We recommend it.

12/09/2025: A simple yet quaint and welcoming place. The owner seems lazy, but he's actually attentive and kind. The staff are friendly and professional. The food is good and authentic: homemade orecchiette and good-quality meat cooked over embers in the fireplace at just the right time. Very fair prices: a full dinner starts at €40. A generous tip is a must.
