08/07/2025: Hotel shot to fame thanks to a featured on the famous Italian TV show "4 Hotel," has made headlines—but not for the right reasons. We all know that when a big opportunity arises, we put our best foot forward. But such a stark contrast between what’s shown on TV and what’s actually offered to guests later reeks of mediocrity. First, applause for the restoration work reviving this borgo (historic village) into a "diffused hotel" in a challenging-to-promote area of Italy. The idea and effort are first-class, but guest management is third-world. We booked a quadruple room (€308 for 2 nights, breakfast included)—a high price for the area, but understandable. You’d expect to feel "pampered and cared for." Instead: Room access: Steep steps (we carried the stroller with our 5-month-old inside; our 3-year-old walked). Outdated room: Rustic ≠ neglected. The "sofa bed" for our child was by the entrance, where cold air seeped through unsealed gaps. Please change this kind of poor quality door!! Uncomfortable bedding: A 17th-century-style sofa bed with a thin mattress and protruding metal bars. We used blankets from our car to pad it. No crib sheets, just a bare mattress. Tiny, ancient TV (non-functional despite advertised Sky service). Insects everywhere (small cockroaches, spiders) on our child’s bed and seating area. The insects was inside the bed!! Broken heaters! Reported immediately, but "too late to fix" (10 PM). No resolution until Night 2—and only partial. One night of freezing with a baby and toddler, surrounded by bugs. All documented. Their excuse? "It’s a rustic structure." My reply: *"But with 5-star resort prices!"* Indifference followed. Room details: Spacious but overly rustic. Mini-fridge (90s era), barely any kitchenware. Bathroom: Camping-style plastic shower (Balkans, 90s vibe), oddly high toilet seat (unnatural even at 188cm tall). Minimal toiletries (just shampoo/body wash). Freezing cold. Breakfast: Compare the "4 Hotel" episode to reality—false advertising, but we’ll overlook it (post-COVID, October). Limited buffet but decent quality. Kudos to Valentina, the only empathetic, professional staff member. Spa: Nice but overlooks a parking lot. Paid extra; cramped changing rooms. Missed potential. Final insult: No apologies, discounts, or empathy. The manager avoided us, radiating embarrassment but zero accountability. Verdict: Beautiful location, admirable borgo revival. But management is stuck in a "pastoral Molise fantasy"—if you’re a shepherd (noble work!), don’t pretend to run a luxury resort. Lacking empathy, education, and humility. MOLISE do not deserve unprofessional staff as this one.

24/08/2025: I had the pleasure of eating at Danilo's on the feast of San Basso. We had a table of 26. Danilo was very kind and patient and managed to serve us all our dishes with ease. We ordered meat and fish appetizers, meat and fish first courses, fish second courses, roasts, and fried dishes, and the kitchen never failed to deliver. Excellent food and fair prices. Congratulations! Friendly and helpful staff, and a very relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!

15/08/2025: Good food and excellent wine recommended by the staff. Welcoming location. High-quality selection of meats. Prices based on what you eat. Tasty appetizers and very good tagliata, although slightly overcooked (medium rare recommended). Overall, satisfactory. Very enjoyable karaoke night on Thursdays. We'll definitely be back! 👍.😘

25/06/2025: Group dinner on a clearly quiet evening for the place, few customers, attentive service. Excellent choice of beers, but the specialty remains meat, well presented and I would say also abundant in portions. Good appetizers, with well-made fried food. Central location, and therefore like the historic center, parking difficult to find. In any case, an experience worth repeating.

24/08/2025: A bar, pastry shop, and ice cream parlor on the main street of San Martino in Pensilis. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We tried several flavors of their artisanal ice cream, and we have to admit they were all delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended.

08/08/2025: Good evening... This evening I'm with a group of friends in San Martino in Pensilis... during the Pampanella festival, we decide to stop for something to eat.... I'm a very greedy girl, so I decide to have a coffee cream... but I think it will be the last time I'll have it here... I thought about having it with cream... It was served to me, but I have to say that if I had made it myself, maybe it would have been better... anyway, it was served in a very full glass, and in fact it had leaked out of the glass... a liquid cream, in short, inedible... some of the group asked for milkshakes... but their wishes were not granted... because today the milkshakes are only available in the shop... they opted for a coffee cream and a tea... the coffee cream arrived after 20 minutes... the tea never arrived at the table... I come from Salento, but I will definitely never come back here again... highly discouraged! 😉

03/02/2025: A very good and informal place. The gentleman in the place was super kind and we were really happy with the place we found! We ate a platter of cold cuts, 20 kebabs, water and wine. Let's also say that the kebabs really cost 1 euro each... but how do we get to the €50 they asked for? €20 for a cutting board? The receipt gave a generic "€50". I was really disappointed and I'm sorry that shopkeepers cheat tourists like this, it's really unpleasant. Even in the center of Como I would have spent so much. I'm sorry and disappointed.

05/02/2025: Varied menu, pasta, pizza, fish, vegetables, etc. I ordered fried squid and it was very good, the prices are affordable.

04/07/2025: Cibo squisito. Provate i piatti speciali sono ottimi. La padrona di casa gira e lavora come una trattola tra i tavoli senza far sentire nessuno abbandonato. Cortesia e rapidità La pizza sembrava buonissima la proverò la prossima volta. Abbiamo cenato con i nostri 3 figli e siamo stati benissimo. Torneremo.

30/06/2025: We dachten hier lekker een hapje te gaan eten. Maar stoelen op de tafel en gesloten. Voor niks omgereden. Dus niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Voor hun lekker een ander restaurant. 😝

15/08/2025: *Review for Lido Toschi in Campomarino* We had the 3-course menu at Lido Toschi in Campomarino today and would like to share our experience. The fish antipasti was okay, although my wife unfortunately found a short hair in her salmon tartare. Despite bringing this to the attention of the waitress, the plate was simply cleared away without apology or further explanation. This was very unsatisfactory for us and made us question the restaurant's hygiene and service. The main course, seafood lasagna, was unfortunately served cold. The third course, swordfish with rosemary potatoes, was not entirely convincing. The swordfish was very dry and lukewarm, while the rosemary potatoes had been in the oven too long and had become very hard as a result. When we spoke to the manager at the cashier and politely described our experience, she reacted surprisingly dismissively. She said that no one had complained so far, so we were the only ones having problems. This response was very disappointing for us, as we had expected constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement. Instead, the manager showed no willingness to listen to or discuss our concerns. Considering the price of €39 for this menu and the unsatisfactory experience, we question whether the quality and presentation of the dishes are justified. The combination of the aforementioned deficiencies, the unsatisfactory handling of the discovery of a hair in the food, and the manager's dismissive reaction was very disappointing. We hope that Lido Toschi will take our feedback as an opportunity to review and improve the quality of their food and service. Unfortunately, based on the manager's reaction, we see little hope for change.

31/05/2025: A cinque minuti di macchina dal centro di Carpinone, questo agriturismo offre parecchi posti al chiuso e all'aperto. Il menù è vario con offerte di primi, carne e pizze. Si mangia bene e le porzioni sono abbondanti. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Il personale è attento e positivo.

23/05/2025: Abbiamo mangiato a pranzo di Domenica, se si cerca un risparmio confermo che è economico, per quanto riguarda invece i sapori e la qualità del cucinato non siamo rimasti soddisfatti, un primo molto salato e gli piatti privi di sapori decisi.
