03/10/2025: The best place to eat in Maremma and beyond. The staff is as exquisite as the menu. Handmade pasta, cheeses, cured meats, and freshly baked tart... all accompanied by red wine and water. The atmosphere is family-friendly, like going to lunch at your aunt and uncle's. A truly pleasant discovery, we'll definitely be back.

10/09/2025: A memorable place... a day of bad weather while we were camping in Tuscany, I set out to find hidden restaurants in Maremma for a good lunch. What can I say? After miles of curves and ups and downs, we arrived at Becagli. Everything was truly excellent: the appetizers included fresh sausage, capocollo, Tuscan raw ham, finocchiona, and cheeses with jams. A trio of first courses included pappardelle with truffles and porcini mushrooms, the best Maremma tortelli, with thin pasta where you can finally taste the filling (we've tried others in other places these days), and gnocchi with porcini ragù. For second courses, we tried ossobuco with porcini mushrooms and roast veal and potatoes, finishing with a cherry tart and tiramisu. Spectacular!! Well done, and keep it up!!! 💪💪💪

10/11/2025: I went with my husband during the truffle fair: all the dishes had white truffles. Everything was delicious.

06/11/2025: We didn't experience the entire facility. We only went for dinner, sampling some of their dishes. The restaurant is very elegant and quiet, perfect for those who appreciate tranquility. The service and food were worthy of the setting. What impressed us most was the selection of local and international wines.

29/11/2025: I've been to this restaurant and left simply thrilled. The experience was impeccable from start to finish, but the real star of the meal was the mixed roast: a dish that undoubtedly deserves a place among Michelin-starred restaurants.

02/12/2025: Fish taverna inside the fisherman harbor of Fano. The style remind me to Greece with its “typical psarotavérna“ along the seashore. Rustida is well accessible by a bicycle lane; this means a smart spot for cyclists, getting a seat close to their steeds. Car parking is pretty an issue especially during the weekend and rush hours in high season.

26/11/2025: We had dinner for two and had a wonderful meal. The service was prompt, precise, fast, and polite. The prices were very fair, and the food was excellent. I highly recommend it. Try their mixed grill (the rustita), which is truly delicious. Keep it up, because I'll definitely be back for another dinner. Thank you.

17/11/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant, and despite an event in the other room, the service remained attentive and friendly. The wait times were normal for a busy day, and the waiters did their best to make us feel comfortable. The set menu didn't feel like a "second-rate" option: it was simple, yes, but well-prepared. The polenta and beans were tasty, and the strozzapreti with mushrooms had a lovely homey flavor. The main courses—the mixed skewer and the rabbit—were also well-cooked and served hot. The portions weren't overwhelming, but just right for a Sunday lunch. The dessert, a slice of apple pie, was simple but pleasant, just like in a genuine trattoria. In short: a friendly setting, home-cooked food, and friendly staff even on the busiest days. I'll gladly return.

16/11/2025: Maybe I came on the wrong day, I don't know. I was there for lunch today. There was an event in the other room, they said, huh? Anyway, they offered me the set menu (almost by force because there were no alternatives other than plain pasta with oil, ridiculous in a restaurant). Anyway. We waited 30 minutes before a waiter arrived to take our order. The first courses were inedible; an instant polenta with beans and a strozzapreti with mushrooms in oil. The second course was a minimal skewer of dry and dried meat mixed with pork, almost certainly recycled from leftovers from the event table, and a tiny piece of rabbit. A small square of apple pie to finish. As for me, I will never go there again, and I strongly advise anyone reading this review to do the same so as not to ruin their day like I did.

13/10/2025: I had to book a table for two three weeks in advance, so that boded well, especially considering all the positive reviews I'd read. Maybe I was unlucky, but I was very disappointed. I can barely pass the appetizers and gnocchi. The homemade tagliatelle are okay, but they don't put sliced ​​raw mushrooms on them as if they were truffles—I assume they were porcini mushrooms, but it wasn't clear. The main course and dessert were awful. The fried lamb was like okra, so you could tell it had been fried in stale oil. The meat was a ciabatta, all frozen stuff from a supermarket, since I saw frozen lamb ribs being pulled out of a box from the kitchen window. Dessert didn't even satisfy my cravings. All this for 70 euros per couple, a menu that, if it were worth much, was max. 50 euros, but I will never go to places with fixed menus again, and it's like going to the canteen, plus we who don't drink wine pay for the others too, as I repeat after 100 km I expected more, but it's my fault, I can't always listen to my friends

07/09/2025: A wonderful restaurant for a traditional menu. Excellent antipasto with trippa, lumache, and coradella di agnello, followed by delicious gnocchi and tagliatelle, complemented by a delicious platter of costolette di agnello, coniglio, and salsicce. Dolce and coffee for dessert. Excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

07/12/2025: Definitely recommended. Being vegetarian, I only ordered a starter and a side dish, but I have to say the dishes are truly well-prepared; you can immediately see the passion for cooking. My only suggestion would be a few more craft beers.

19/11/2025: We made a last-minute reservation for 12 of us, including children and a friend in a wheelchair. They quickly set us up at a table in the most convenient location. The staff were extremely friendly, and the food was rich in flavor. The house first course with truffle was excellent. We had a wonderful lunch with friends.
