08/06/2026: Yesterday, Sunday, June 7th, my wife and I were looking for a place to have lunch during our trip. We stumbled upon this very charming and quiet place. Surrounded by greenery and close to the highway toll booth, it offers both fish and meat dishes. We opted for the fish: excellent. The staff was friendly and the prices were fair.

26/05/2026: We went for dinner on a Monday and had a fries to share, followed by three pizzas. Mine was a little too thin for my taste, but still good. The dessert was good. The only problem was the small table; there were three of us, and they gave us a table for two.

16/05/2026: The meat was excellent; we ordered the Florentine menu, which included a 1.2-1.4kg Florentine steak with fillet, a generous portion of grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, and radicchio, all accompanied by two glasses of red wine. Recommended for those looking for a quiet place to spend an evening with a partner, a group, or a family, with excellent value (in our case, €60 for two). The menu also includes pizza and fish, which have always received positive reviews.

16/07/2026: My partner and I were there this evening and took advantage of the truffle menu. What can I say? Everything was perfect, top-quality, absolutely delicious. Luca and Eleonora were incredibly friendly and made us feel immediately at home and comfortable. Everything arrived on time, and we wanted to take our time to enjoy the tranquility and relaxation that the place and the atmosphere conveyed. There's nothing more to say, everything was perfect. We'll definitely be back to try the all-you-can-eat meat and pasta menu, as well as the off-menu options.

03/06/2026: In the backstreets away from the main tourist areas. We visited for lunch on Republic day and it was very busy. The brothers who run this place were single handed and rushing about. As service was a bit slow the brothers enlivened the mood by neighing like donkeys and making various announcements which elicited applause from the mainly Italian clientele. When it came the food was delicious (we had salumi and some excellent pizzas). Others have commented on the chilli oil and I was given crushed chilli to take away. I wouldn’t hesitate to return - for the food yes and in the hope of more theatre…

The staff is extremely kind, attentive, and helpful, always ready to recommend the house specialties. Both the pasta dishes and meat dishes are excellent, not to mention the truly delicious homemade desserts. Highly recommended for those seeking a true Italian culinary experience!

08/02/2026: Good dishes, except for the passatelli with fondue. Service was inaccurate, definitely room for improvement. (When the appetizer arrived, they didn't explain at all what was on the plate. They served us the crescia to accompany the platters when the platter was already empty. Between the appetizer and the first course, we waited a long time, about half an hour. We had asked for a second serving of the Flemish-style first courses so we could all share the first courses, but in the end, they arrived with individual plates and we had a hard time sharing everything; if that's the case, explain it to me first; don't tell me it's okay when I ask for the Flemish-style first courses. When the second course arrived, they forgot a piece of the plate; we pointed it out, and it arrived separately.) The only positive aspect was the wine service. We paid too much for what we ate and the poor service. Five of us paid €63 each. Good, but due to the service and the price, I wouldn't go back. Only go if you're in the area; otherwise, avoid it.

The atmosphere is welcoming, refined, and ideal for a dinner as a couple or an evening with friends or family. The quality of the ingredients shines through in every dish: fresh ingredients, authentic flavors, and meticulously prepared. Kudos also go to the wait staff, always professional, smiling, and helpful. The waitresses are attentive to their guests' needs and contribute to creating a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. If I had to recommend a dish, I would undoubtedly choose their signature pasta, "La Cueva": truly exceptional, rich in flavor, and prepared to perfection. It's one of those dishes that alone is worth a visit, and we order it every time with great pleasure. Overall, an osteria that combines quality, courtesy, and excellent cuisine. A must-try for those seeking authentic dishes and impeccable service. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!
