03/05/2026: Avoid like the plague. This is the first time I've written this type of review, as I'm not used to it, but this one bordered on the absurd. I returned after five years because I was impressed by the paccheri with fried zucchini flowers, mussels, saffron, and shrimp. Overall, I've eaten well twice and had no problems whatsoever. May 2026 was a disaster. A total disservice. We arrived, and the problems began. Our reservation hadn't been taken. So they assigned us a table for four people, who fortunately didn't show up. A nearby, much larger table arrived after us. Our order was taken almost immediately, and drinks and appetizers arrived. We finally managed to see a waiter after 40 minutes. Be careful, because there's no paper menu. Not even a digital one. When we asked for a written menu, we were told, "Yes, we'll get to take your order now." Our question, however, was different. It was impossible to find out the prices. When they came to take my order, I asked for a mixed cold appetizer (something I'd already ordered five years ago), and they replied that they'd check with the kitchen if it was possible. Then, still verbally, they mentioned two basic first courses and two second courses. They took my order, and shortly after, a waiter returned to say there had been problems with the order and they had to take it back. MADNESS. He barely had time to write down the appetizers before a waitress arrived with them in hand. He, clearly distressed, started to leave without asking what first and second courses we wanted. During the wait, there were similar incidents at nearby tables. Orders were taken after endless minutes of waiting. People stood up to ask for attention. Total disorganization. The appetizers arrived. Once they were finished, a waitress came and asked us if we were waiting for the second courses. In reality, it took an hour for the first courses. An hour during which we asked two different waiters how much longer it was. The response from both was: "I'm leaving"... they've probably run away at this point. We ordered 1 pacchero allo scoglio and 2 spaghetti with clams. The pacchero arrived, shortly after 1 spaghetti, and not a trace of the other. All that was missing was a guest who hadn't ordered a second course, but only a plate of mussels as an appetizer. Meanwhile, another table also reported the enormous poor service to a waiter. The latter then came over and apologized, saying that the kitchen was closed and they couldn't make the other spaghetti with clams because the kettles had been turned off. WE COULDN'T BELIEVE OUR EARS. He apologized because this was the ONLY problem he said they'd had today. He also added that he would offer us the bottle of wine (which arrived at room temperature and was then chilled thanks to the ice bucket) and that if we wanted, he would give us another one free of charge. Of course, I couldn't help but point out that we wanted food rather than drink, and that it wouldn't be served. Exhausted, we decided to get up. At the register, in addition to the bottle of wine, we were given two complimentary bottles of water. Total €73 for three covers with three appetizers and two first courses. Another bottle of wine was then slammed on the counter, this time chilled, which we again refused. Not satisfied, they offered us shots and more to drink. A ruined birthday, which ended with a stop at a service station to feed the guest who was practically starving. Total disorganization, both in the kitchen and among the wait staff. The chairs were dirty. The restrooms were obscene, with no soap dispensers and pee on the floor. I'm giving it one star because it's the least I can do to be able to write a review; it's not even worth that. AVOID

22/02/2026: I was there last night with my partner, and we sat in an alcove, a lovely, intimate spot. Unfortunately, there was a leaking pipe, bottles were scattered haphazardly on the wall, and several empty air fresheners were left there for no reason. But let's get to the point: we had two spectacular tartares! Quality meat, with condiments placed on the plate so you can season it however you like (egg yolk, onion, mustard, chopped anchovies, etc.). We continued with polenta with wild boar sauce. We told the waiter we'd share it, and the kitchen kindly divided the dish for us onto two lovely wooden trays, giving it a rustic feel! As for the main course, my partner opted for a tagliata with cheese fondue and porcini mushrooms, perfectly cooked and the meat was SO TENDER! While I chose the veal cheek braised in red wine, and I'll tell you...it was buttery, the meat melted, the sauce creamy and flavorful—a 10/10! The side dish of Ascoli olives is also not to be underestimated (homemade). I compliment the owner on the quality of the food, the portions, and the passion he puts into it! The only flaw is that the ambiance needs more attention to detail, because it's a gem in the town of Civitanova Alta that perhaps not everyone knows about. Many more compliments, until next time!

19/04/2026: The menu and prices are perfect for lunches with friends and family. The flavorful and aromatic chitarra pasta with clams is also unique, as are the cold appetizers and the crab-filled ravioli. Followed by tender and light boneless fried fish and a variety of mixed grilled dishes. The wait staff is friendly, attentive, and cheerful.

15/05/2026: We had ordered a millefeuille for 8 people, Chantilly cream and chocolate, with whipped cream and a happy birthday message on top. During the call, I was asked if a 1 kg/1.2 kg cake would be okay, and I said yes. I was also asked if the birthday girl was a boy or a girl, so I honestly thought the order had been marked with a minimum of attention. On May 13, I went to pick it up. I went in, said hello, and the girl there didn't even look at me, not a smile, not a single "hello." We told her we had ordered a cake, and she brought out a tiny cake, without decorations, with practically illegible and poorly made writing. But above all, a cake that was definitely not for 8 people. She weighed it in front of us, and it was 600 grams. SIX HUNDRED. When we'd agreed on the phone, more than double. At that point, we asked her if that was really the cake we ordered, and even she seemed completely taken aback: she looked at the paper, looked at the cake, and kept saying, "I don't know, I didn't make it." Which, frankly, is not the kind of response you should give to customers who've ordered a cake for a birthday. Throughout the entire situation, she was completely indifferent, almost annoyed. No attempt to understand the problem, no proposed solution, no "I'm sorry." The only thing she did was wash her hands of the situation by saying she hadn't made the cake, despite having said she'd made the reservation. We even went out for a moment to figure out what to do because the birthday was today, and we found ourselves at the last minute without a decent cake to bring. We then came back to say that obviously we wouldn't have it, and we weren't even told anything. Not even a hello. Honestly, I find the whole thing embarrassing and very unprofessional. A birthday is a special occasion, and finding yourself in a situation like this due to such superficial management was truly unfortunate.

03/08/2025: I can only review my takeout experience. I ordered five takeout pizzas at around 5:30 PM, which were supposed to be ready by 8:45 PM. I arrived promptly at 8:45 PM, and they delivered the "TAKEOUT" pizzas at 9:15 PM... 30 minutes late on five pizzas I'd ordered in the afternoon. I can't imagine what happens if you eat there. (Which, given my experience, will never happen.)
