15/05/2025: “A true and authentic restaurant”, immersed in the greenery of the Marche countryside. The environment is rustic and without frills, perfectly in line with the culinary proposal and the natural context in which it is located. The structure is old and quite well-kept, with several seats both inside and outside. After the meal you can take a pleasant walk along the river that leads to the famous waterfalls of Cingoli: an added value not to be underestimated. The road to reach it is not asphalted, but it is well maintained and easily passable. The menu is simple and well-defined: the absolute protagonist is the crescia, accompanied by typical Marche cold cuts and cheeses. There is no shortage of first courses such as tagliatelle and pappardelle, second courses of grilled meat, side dishes and homemade desserts. The prices are quite interesting, especially considering the quality and authenticity of the ingredients. We tried the crescia – excellent – ​​and the pappardelle with wild boar ragù. The pasta, rough and cooked al dente, was very good; the sauce, however, in my personal taste, had a too strong tomato flavor that covered a bit the flavor of the wild boar meat, cut into rather large cubes. I wasn't crazy about it. Even though we were full, we decided to finish with a dessert. I chose the Catalan, which I often prepare at home, and I found it well made and pleasant. Overall, an excellent stop for those looking for home cooking, generous portions and a simple and sincere atmosphere, immersed in the Marche nature.

23/09/2024: We stayed in the International Village of Porto Recanati and, on the advice of our tenant, we went to have lunch at the Baretto and have never left it since. We have tried everything and they have never let us down. Even though we were at the end of the season, there was never a lack of a smile and kindness. Especially with our little dog, always well received and pampered. Highly recommended.

01/09/2024: I went with friends personally with a great desire for pizza. I ordered an Italian pizza i.e. Margherita with buffalo mozzarella. Absolutely the most inedible pizza of my entire life. Very thin pasta, which could also have been fine if it had a hint of edge. The dressing consisted of an exaggerated amount of tomato sauce devoid of any seasoning. The mozzarella consisted of two tiny pieces that got lost in the sauce. After trying a wedge, I couldn't eat it. The fish dishes ordered by my friends were, overall, good. The service was good.

21/04/2025: We had dinner with my family on Easter evening and I must admit that despite having chosen this restaurant due to its proximity to the B&B, I was very impressed by the kindness and excellent service as well as the excellent quality food, even the house wine recommended by the waiter was appreciated.

29/05/2025: I often come to Civitanova especially during the summer, so looking for a place for lunch we stopped at your place, we ate a really good first course of fish and excellent skewers....we will definitely be back!!!!!👍👍👍🥰

28/05/2025: Really terrible, avoid grills that pass them off as such but you don't know what they give you and the foods are not grilled but probably breaded, frozen and of low quality, inedible fried food, all this paid 42 euros. You see!!!

08/12/2024: A nice b&b characteristic for the mountain style furnishings, both in the rooms and in the restaurant/breakfast area. Well-stocked breakfast 👍🏻 the only thing to report is the check-in time a little too late (18:30), so we found it an inconvenient factor and the lack of a bell (I had to call by phone to let them know that we had arrived as the structure was still closed when we arrived. I also report the total lack of TV signal (even though I performed the channel scan), so the TV is unusable. More than honest prices 👍🏻

30/08/2024: Unfortunately I find myself having to leave this review, given the recent behavior of the establishment and seaside area that I have been frequenting since only the famous and historic Pirate's Cove existed (from the age of 5-6 onwards), to date the Mosquito which is the establishment I have frequented for many years. Unfortunately, despite being an almost regular weekend customer even though I live outside the Marches but originally from the seaside area where I leave hundreds of EUR a day with my family on weekends between lunches/aperitifs/drinks/breakfasts and umbrellas, which we don't fail to do during every day at the beach spent there, but this year we are not there at all. 1) I think the management in the kitchen has changed: a disaster, tasteless first courses, spaghetti with clams worse than pasta with oil, poor menu and poor choice, covered by 2 euros/pax despite cutlery and paper handkerchief. Last year, the previous chef proposed some interesting dishes that tasted of the sea and had a professional execution, also keeping an eye on the regular customers. 2) New staff (1/2 girls) at the bar/restaurant: I go with my family on Monday 26.08 to the seaside having been careful to anticipate the need for an umbrella the day before Sunday and reassured by the staff telling me not to worry about tomorrow, the umbrellas will be free in abundance and choice. We show up at the beach on Monday, early morning, the beach is practically free, the girl (not the usual guy who usually accommodates customers on weekends) tells us that the only free umbrella is in the 4th row. On Monday 26 August with a totally empty beach. (we're talking about August anyway). He demands advance payment of EUR 20 and then suddenly at 4.45pm he closes everything and leaves, thus also closing services such as the toilet and the bar. So 20 euros for an umbrella, paid also with the hope of using an essential beach service, practically thrown in the bin. She closed everything without even notifying the only remaining umbrella, ours, and left. Calling it service is madness. This happens when you improvise in a business, where you don't have expertise and where I believe you want to save on the professionalism of a staff/service which, in exchange for a payment, must necessarily guarantee a minimally decent service. Note: establishment that I have frequented for many years but which has unfortunately become worse, due to the excessive desire to speculate on the usual August weeks (albeit final) in the face of an absolutely inadequate (absent) quality of service. Previous years also from the same management, much higher quality. This year a total disaster. For the owner, absolutely review the configuration of the activity and proposal, making the service more serious and high-quality.

30/08/2024: Abbiamo scelto il Mosquito per una cena in famiglia e devo dire che abbiamo fatto benissimo. Il personale è molto alla mano e sempre disponibile a venire incontro alle esigenze dei clienti. Il cibo proposto è di ottima qualità ad un prezzo davvero onesto. Si respira aria familiare: consigliato!!! Torneremo sicuramente

10/06/2025: It's a lunch break place, no praise and no pity, it's definitely worth the price you pay and I have to honestly say that after a week of sandwiches it was a turning point, the fettuccine allo scoglio were acceptable, I would say good, the sea bream steak so-so but, also acceptable, the service was courteous and very fast. I repeat, considering the cost, it's worth the experience.

23/05/2025: We ate well and spent little. The fried fish was really good, fresh fish. Large portions. Reasonable prices. Very fast service.

25/05/2025: Ho soggiornato con amici…agriturismo immerso nel silenzio vecchio casale ristrutturato…..molto suggestivo!!!….camere semplici, soffitti con travi a vista….ben pulite….l unico neo( se si può dire..) le camere sono distanti dalla zona ristorante / colazione 700 /800 metri….qualche disagio x noi con lo scooter…sopratutto dopo la cena….comunque ristorante ottimo tagliatelle al tartufo…DA PROVARE!
