21/04/2024: I had lunch at this restaurant, and I can consider myself satisfied. All the dishes on the menu are typical of Roman cuisine. I had the fried courgette flowers stuffed with mozzarella and anchovies as an appetizer, a classic spaghetti carbonara as a first course, and tiramisu for dessert. All the food was excellent and super tasty, from the appetizer to the dessert. The carbonara was truly fantastic, on par with what I ate in Rome, and here in the area there are few that are as good. The only thing to point out is that, even in this restaurant, the unwritten rule according to which "the quality of the food is directly proportional to the price and inversely proportional to the quantity" applies. The food is indeed spectacular but, compared to average, the portions are a little smaller and the prices a little higher (€6 for the courgette flowers, €12 for the carbonara, and another €6 for the tiramisu). In short, it's not the restaurant to come to to binge eat. The environment is very beautiful. The restaurant is elegant and, being small and having few tables, it has an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. Given the small number of tables, I personally recommend booking in advance. Friendly staff, and speed of service normal. I will probably return to this restaurant, and it is definitely worth a try.

12/05/2024: We went to this restaurant today after visiting the Frasassi caves... I was full of great expectations given the good reviews published but unfortunately, as sometimes happens, today we had a bad experience... we arrive and shortly after we get I took the order... 4 first courses.. and 2 second courses... shortly afterwards the white tagliatelle arrived for my son... ok we're done I say to myself... instead after ONE HOUR the other 3 first didn't even stink. .. so I ask if it's possible to know how much is missing because my other daughter and we were also incredibly hungry... it was after 2.30pm... the second courses arrive shortly after... oops.. problem... and big... we had the first courses first... they tell us there must have been a problem in the kitchen... well obviously... the first courses arrive at supersonic speed!!! I have to say very good! This is true! A waiter passes by and reassures us by saying I forwarded your order... ok thanks... then a waitress passes by and asks us: - but do you still want the meat? Well we were certainly hungry... in the meantime it was 3pm... the meat arrived... the chips... one of the two pork steaks was not cooked inside... perhaps due to the rush... while we were eating the meat A waitress passes by...looks...and says...:- Can I take the dishes away?? But damn nooo we're eating... crazy stuff... then coffee... dessert... sorbet... icing on the cake it was almost 4pm... fair bill for goodness' sake but at least they could offer us coffee.. . just out of kindness... I would add that the bathrooms could also use a little sprucing up... but whatever... we won't be back anyway

26/03/2024: We had lunch at this restaurant 2 Sundays ago. There were 6 of us and we ordered all (or almost all) different dishes, so that we could try as many as possible. The appetizer with Crescia mixed with cured meats and cheeses was super, the oven-baked ravioli were special (my absolute favorite dish), minus the cannelloni (everyone agreed). As for the second courses, excellent pork shank, as well as the rabbit and the mixed roast, the lamb a little less so (maybe because we are from Abruzzo and it is unsurpassed here), amazing baked potatoes. Super crowded place (we'll try again in the heat, since you can also eat outside and it's beautiful) but fast, professional and friendly service. Normal prices, medium/low range, I would say lower, given the generous portions. Super recommended place

19/03/2024: It was recommended to me by a friend, I must say we ate very well! Everyone is talking about their special gnocchi with duck ragout, which definitely lives up to expectations! the ragù is the way I like it, you find the pieces of meat with still a little bone which makes everything homemade and high quality! But the biggest surprise for me was the rabbit in porchetta: I don't like this meat, but theirs is truly exquisite, soft and moist, tasty but delicate, perfect. The crescia is very good, cured meats and cheeses average, nothing to add. I went to eat on a Saturday, really friendly and attentive service, but you have to enjoy lunch without the rush of looming commitments. I will definitely be back and I'm already advertising to my friends.
