29/03/2025: I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the service excellent and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Every request was greeted with a smile and great professionalism. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the main attractions and well connected to public transport. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a pleasant and worry-free stay.

09/04/2025: I'm not a regular at reviews, but this time it's really worth writing a negative one. It is the second time I go to this pizzeria in Santa Caterina Valfurva. The first time it would have deserved a negative review, but, as I said, I usually avoid it. Let me start by saying that the pizza is good and the place is quite nice and welcoming. Having said that, I'll tell you about my first experience. When I went the first time, they made me sit near the swing door, as I was alone and it was a small table attached to the wooden pear of the door. So far, so good. The problem arose when, every two or three minutes, someone entered, exited or went to smoke a cigarette. Now, imagine a dinner with a door that slams violently because it lacks a slowdown spring: the bench you are sitting on shakes, the table shakes, the plate shakes. Imagine how you can dine in peace. In the end, having arrived at the cash register, I point out the problem to the innkeeper, who, already a little annoyed, replies that "that's how it is", justifying in my opinion the unjustifiable. Yet, simply installing a slowdown spring would solve the problem. Today I decide to return to this place to eat pizza again. I wait for the innkeeper, who suggests that I sit in the same place. I reply with these exact words: “No, I'm not going there.” His angry response was: “If you ask me in a polite manner, I'll make you sit somewhere else.” It makes me wonder: what would I have said that was rude? Also because I didn't even have time to explain why I didn't want to sit there. With that, I kicked up and left. The world is full of pizzerias, and I certainly won't choose this one again. P.s. "In response to the innkeeper, I invite you to judge your own work first rather than that of others, even without having the necessary elements, and to be more cordial with your guests, because, as can be seen from other negative reviews, no one criticizes the cuisine, but the welcome. Think about it."

08/04/2025: Good food and experience, reasonably priced

18/11/2024: You book for 10 and when you arrive you discover that they have given you two separate tables without telling you when booking. But it doesn't matter anyway because they gave the tables to other people who hadn't booked. Here the cro In the face of facts, decide for yourself who was right.. We arrive bit by bit between 12.40pm and 1pm (because with 4 small children) and we discover that they have given the table to other people who hadn't booked because, according to them, if you book in the first shift (12pm/1pm :45) either you kill the minute or you make do. Considering the fact that there are about 2 hours of walking and the phone doesn't pick up to warn me it seems a little absurd. I advise the manager not to take reservations if he has to manage them in this way, seat the first one who arrives and amen, if he is only interested in milking the tourist. Conclusion, after half an hour waiting outside cold, we eat at a table of 5 to 10 and they still charge us 10 covers. Good cakes, very tasty polenta, the rest nothing special.

12/01/2025: We went to buy 1.2 kg of bresaola and some slinziga. The place immediately appeared clean and well-stocked. The owner welcomed us with a big smile, and was very kind in recommending the best, highest quality products he had in the shop. Really honest prices. We will return and recommend it to acquaintances who will go to Bormio :).

30/03/2025: Pub aperto sino alle 2:00 per mangiare, giocare e divertirsi. Trasmettono anche le partite, dispone ovviamente di 4 piste da bowling ed è adatto per passare una serata all'insegna del gioco. Una sala giochi vasta con tante opportunità, insomma è un posto magico. Si mangia bene, la qualità/prezzo è buona. Già la prima volta ti senti come a casa, dalla seconda volta è tutto sempre più familiare anche se si mangia da Pub/Ristorante vado spesso anche solo per mangiare il gelato "Coppa Denmark", con il cioccolato 🤣! Per chi legge solo per i prezzi, aldilà del menù. Una pizza "inferno calabrese" 12€, una birra media 6€, 1 coppa Denmark 7€ e coperto 2,2€ A presto ragazzi, grazie per il lavoro che fate.

14/03/2025: È sempre un piacere venire qui, perchè luogo ideale per famiglie. Burgers: si può migliorqre la qualità del pane. Ottimo l’aperitivo (molto apprezzate le cannucce ecologiche) e la gentilezza del personale. Come ogni anno…we’ll be back!

04/04/2025: Per noi siciliani è stato un piacere conoscere il vero sapore dello speck, della bresaola e degli altri salumi, per non parlare delle irresistibili braciole. Per il resto la struttura è magica, con le stalle degli animali che mantengono tutto il calore nonostante la neve circostanze, mentre la mise en place e l'oste hanno un carattere che più tipico non si può!

19/03/2025: Un posticino tipico appena fuori dal centro. Cibo ottimo e pizzoccheri superlativi . Cosa carina è la vetrata dove si affacciano sulla sala deliziose caprette. Prezzi onesti . Siete una garanzia!

27/11/2024: Without pretending to be an expert gastronome or a chef but this place, where you can eat healthy and plentiful food, is for you. Very friendly staff, well prepared cuisine, spartan but very clean environment. Typical Valtellina dishes, good wine, economical prices and a friendly atmosphere make it a high-level trattoria. Go there but... booking is almost a must. Score 9 with honors....

15/11/2024: Prima volta e vista la qualità, la quantità e la cortesia del personale, penso sarà meta per altri pranzi in compagnia. Cibo ottimo di tipo valtellinese doc. Vini sfuso buono e porzioni abbondanti. Tagliere di salumi con prodotti top di qualità. Andateci e ci tornerete ad occhi chiusi. Prezzo basso per la qualità e quantità consumata.

09/03/2025: Good service, the waitresses were friendly and smiling. The food could be improved, not the best pizzoccheri from Valtellina and even the polenta with braised meat could be improved. The cut, on the other hand, was good, overall I would say it was a mediocre restaurant. DO NOT GO TO HOTEL COLOMBO INSTEAD.

11/03/2025: As always at the Piadineria the staff is unprepared and zero professionalism. I showed the barcode received via email with a €7 discount on a minimum spend of €15. Unfortunately the cashier didn't even want to scan it but did something by applying a 10% discount, therefore €1.60 instead of €7. Don't clog up my email with useless emails if you aren't able to apply them. Incompetent, ignorant and useless. I believe you are fine underpaid and exploited. Let's hope that sooner or later the whole chain fails.

23/02/2025: Curiosi accoppiamenti fra frutta e carni, molto riusciti. Anatra con cioccolato e gelato al lampone era molto buona, così come il dolce con la zucca. Ambiente raffinato, servizio ok, prezzi più alti ma considerando l'ambiente e i piatti ci sta (secondi €25-30, dolci 8€). Un po' caro il vino al calice: 15€ sforzato, 7€ un rosso normale.

23/03/2025: Ci rechiamo per una cena con amici. Nessuno di noi ha ordinato del vino e ci è stato sottolineato più volte che sarebbe stato opportuno prendere almeno un calice di vino, in maniera quasi insistente. Mangiamo piatti a base di pesce, qualitativamente buoni. Veniamo trattati in modo molto scocciato quando dopo la prima portata non ne vogliamo una seconda. Arriviamo poi al dolce, esposto a voce dal cameriere perché non presente la carta, che prevede una grande scelta di mousse/tiramisu/panne cotte. Alla richiesta di una torta o di un dolce meno elaborato ci è stato risposto “non siamo in un’osteria”. Viene poi offerto a tutti i tavoli il tipico mirto, a noi non viene nemmeno proposto. Ci congediamo amareggiati dopo esserci sentiti umiliati e paghiamo un conto abbastanza alto per quanto mangiato. Esperienza molto spiacevole, da non ripetere.

23/03/2025: I have never replied to reviews..but this time it's too much! I reply to Mrs. Anna Colli: first, as a host I have to offer wine, but I don't force anyone! Second: we have a dessert menu, but we like to offer them and tell them out loud rather than have them read. Third: it seems obvious to me that if you don't drink wine..you don't drink myrtle either, for your own reasons (you're a teetotaler or you have to drive etc..etc) or do you want it because it's offered instead of wine you pay for??? I offer myrtle to those who have a proper dinner and not to those who order just one course! Thank you ❤️

18/03/2025: We took advantage of the structure for a post-ski and the idea of ​​the wellness area +16 was nice so as to have more tranquility. Too bad that the hydromassages are limited and this area is more cramped than the other where there are children. All in all good quality/price ratio.

16/03/2025: Nice view, but a little too crowded... Slippers and bathrobe are not included (therefore not even detergents or various creams), common changing rooms, to have a snack I had to go out in my bathrobe (it was cold) and go to the bar that overlooked the street; there was a strange smell in some rooms (maybe my sense of smell is too sensitive). However, a very different experience from other spas, perhaps due to the cheap price. 🤔 I don't think I'll go back because I wasn't able to relax, but I give three stars because the price was cheap and it may be ideal for families with children (?) due to the separate areas.

21/03/2025: There are flavors here I'd never tried before. The pizzoccheri, a typical pasta from the region, seemed quite heavy to me. The sciatt, a local specialty, is spectacular. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and suitable for large groups. The prices are reasonable, the service is fast, and the staff is friendly and smiling. Overall, it's an absolutely recommended place to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere.
