23/03/2025: Si mangia sempre bene in questo ristorante: piatti della tradizione e non abbondanti e ben curati. E' anche l'occasione per farsi consigliare alla scoperta di vini che, nel rispetto della tradizione e della qualità, consentono di sperimentare nuove cantine e novità di vinificazione. Bravi!

29/09/2025: We ate here during a trip to Bormio. We had the sciatt on a salad with a French and balsamic dressing. Spectacular is an understatement! Then came the polenta with porcini mushrooms and cheese, and bresaola with buffalo mozzarella. Very good, but the sciatt appetizer beats them all. Adequate value for money. Service was so-so: I think it took 20 minutes for them to come and take our orders.

06/08/2025: Excellent location with food service until 5 pm. A veranda right in the center, and excellent pizza and mixed meat skewers! Fast and friendly waiters.

The ingredients are top-quality: the pizzoccheri and sciatt are spectacular...trying them here for the first time. But the star of the restaurant is the duck, expertly prepared by the chef! 29/06/2025: "Io e mia moglie siamo stati in questa osteria per la cena. Il ristorante è ubicato in una frazione di Tirano a circa 800 metri sul livello del mare. La strada per arrivarci è molto stretta, anche se molto panoramica (due Suv in senso contrario crea un po' di problemi nella circolazione). Il menù comprende sia pietanze a base di carne che di pesce. Dall'osteria si ha un bellissimo panorama dal quale è possibile ammirare la città di Tirano e i paesi limitrofi. Per quanto riguarda le pietanze gli antipasti sono molto buoni, sciatt e bresaola tipici della Valtellina. La carne è di qualità. Da migliorare i contorni. Le portate potrebbero essere più abbondanti visto che il costo non è basso. Personale di sala molto gentile. Parcheggio a circa 200 metri dal locale o fuori dal locale. Prezzi un po' alti visto (senza vino per un antipasto e un secondo siamo sui 45-50 euro a testa). Consiglio a tutti questa osteria per mangiare piatti tipici della Valtellina"

22/09/2025: A friend and I happened upon Osteria del Zep by chance to celebrate my birthday, and we couldn't have made a better choice. Even though it was already 2:40 PM, we were greeted with such kindness and warmth that we immediately felt at home. Special thanks to Letizia, who served us with kindness and friendliness, never letting us know the time. We sampled excellent pizzoccheri, accompanied by traditional cheeses, and finished with panna cotta, water, a bitter, and a coffee. Everything was delicious and authentic. The bill? €48 for two, absolutely fair for the quality of the food and the welcome we received. A place I recommend to everyone: authentic, hospitable, and capable of allowing you to experience the true Valtellina tradition.

17/09/2025: We had lunch here on Sunday afternoon. There's nothing to complain about about the food, everything was very good. The service deserves a separate discussion... We sat down at 12:30, three of us, and there were four tables at the time. Our first order was taken 20 minutes later, starting from the last tables seated backwards, and it had to be taken back two or three times because it was lost. The first course arrived at 1:30 PM, consisting of three simple appetizers. The second course arrived at 2:00 PM, with people getting up and leaving because their food hadn't arrived, and the waiter was yelling at the owner (?) with everything he could find in the kitchen. I thank the lady at the cash register who apologized for the service and gave us a discount. We all have bad days with the service, but it's also our job to review the good and bad experiences.

02/09/2025: A restaurant serving local specialties; we went there on Sunday, recommended by the owner of an antique shop. A delicate yet bold lunch, truly delicious. The restaurant is very well-maintained, and the staff are very kind and friendly. A very nice thing is that while you wait, after placing your order, you're offered a small platter of cured meats and a basket of delicious bread and breadsticks. Another lovely thing about this restaurant is the view from the balcony, a picture-perfect view.

02/09/2025: For those who love fine dining and local specialties, I highly recommend this restaurant. We had a wonderful time, and the service was impeccable. Prices were absolutely reasonable, not excessive. The wait was minimal, and the customer service was truly courteous and attentive. The flavors are all from the Chiavenna Valley, and the owner's friendliness complements the atmosphere beautifully. They were truly excellent. Finally, the restaurant was very, very well-kept. Our compliments. We will definitely be back.

13/09/2025: This has become a regular stop since our motorcycle tour of Gavia. The food is always good, with excellent service and excellent quality. The prices are in line with all this.

06/03/2025: Modern, casual, cosy and with a good vibe, fair priced and homemade food above average. Safe choice for all occasions. Great selection of wines. Best coffee Americano ever (not really an Americano - way too much good flavour).
